This was a last minute reservation and was extremely happy with hotel and room

The bed was very hard, the water pressure was very weak, a previous visitor drew on the floor and it wasn't cleaned, they did not provide shampoo, I was awakened by a barking dog about 3:00 AM.

My friend and I got banned because we’re gay. This is blatantly homophobic. I was helping out my partner with a place to stay for a few days, he’d just been kicked out by his mom for the same reason and didn’t have a place to go.
Morning time front desk lady extremely bigoted and rude. My friend works nights and sleeps during the day. The house keepers are relentless with housekeeping. I politely declined because my friend was still asleep. Ok. 2 minutes later the front desk lady literally BANGING on the door and screamed “IM GOING TO ASK YOU TO LEAVE IF YOU DONT LET US DO HOUSEKEEPING! ITS POLICY!” I rushed outside and nicely tried explaining the situation that was happening in his life but this lady did not care. She did it again two days later. I’ve stayed here quite a bit due to my job and have always been kind and respectful. I was even well known enough by management that I didn’t have to give the deposit. This lady revoked that the last day I stayed there. Recently tried to get a room and when I got there it was 1:30AM was and was told I was no longer welcomed and they couldn’t rent me a room. I asked why and still haven’t been given a reason and I’ve called every day to follow up and still nothing. And this even after our stuff was clearly moved, touched, damaaged, missing after housekeeping went thru. Is that Policy also? I was mortified and incredibly embarrassed. I don’t know what I did but she “hey you mind letting my friend sleep, we don’t need housekeeping”

When i showed to check in. They demanded cash for a deposit so i had to drive 30 minutes to my bank because they cant take my credit card for a deposit.

Easy and comfortable. Next time I’ll know coffee is ready in the office…used to having a small coffee maker in the room.

The location was ok. The room smelled of smoke. The bed spared on the 2nd bed had cigerate burns. It was right next to highway so noisy.

Stay was fine. Only issue was all the homeless people roaming the property, but that’s a problem thoughout Visalia.

Didn’t see the drugs being sold out of the end room this time like I did on my last visit. I do enjoy the large grass area by the pool. And walking close to restaurants.

Honestly it was not horrible. Would I stay there again? Maybe. The room looked like it had been wiped down and linens changed. The only placed that looked uncleaned to the eye were the shower head and the curtain rod. Other surfaces seemed clean. None the less I found 3 roaches in the room. Granted, since I'm not a killer, I remove them and put them outside. So it could have been the same roach on 3 different occasions. The first time I saw a roach walking across the floor, it stopped when it encountered a hair. Somebody else's hair. That was a little gross but here's the thing. If you're staying here on your way to Sequoia or something, guess what you're gonna encounter in the woods...bugs. I wouldn't recommend walking barefoot on the floors, your feet will be filthy after a while, and yes there's bugs, but as a place to rest and secure youe belongings during a nature-themed road trip, it really was that horrible. There was a gross smell (more chemical/sewer gas type, not human-related) in the bathroom so I just kept the door closed. Bathroom door was tight in its frame so hard to open and close but not a big issue. Not much light in the room either, closet area was dark with no light at all. Really if the room cost about $25 less it would a good deal vs. the conditions. The receptionist was good, no issues at all with her. Didn't feel safe leaving anything in my car in this area. But that's not the hotel's fault, just the area.

For a motel 6 this place was better than most motel 6. The place was not fancy but it was clean and the rooms were not old and dingy. The front desk people were nice. My one complaint was the freeway noise but what can you do about that.
Also it was interesting I was asked for a $60 cash deposit on check in. I got it back but that’s the first time I have had to do that.

Room had a tub but no drain stopper. That is the only critique I have. Otherwise it was quite comfortable. The AC worked and I got to enjoy my room at a cozy 65°F despite being in warm California, ice was available to the left of the office, gas station a 3 minute walk for snacks and drinks, checkin and out was quick and easy, staff was kind and efficient. Definitely would recommend for a comfortable stay on a budget!

The stairs are rusted with broken metal, walk up with caution unless you want to but cut with rusty metal - literally. They charge a $60 refundable cash ONLY deposit. Which was super inconvenient as we had to leave and go find an ATM. Floors were filthy inside, my son looked like a cave man after walking barefoot.

This motel was booked at the last minute. The receptionist was pleasant and answered all of my guest ions professionally. She let me know that they are available 24/7. I felt safe.
