I cannot wait to see what this resort will look like once the renovations have been completed!!

It was great until a hockey team arrived and kept me from sleeping. The hotel promised I wouldn’t have them next to me tonight so we’ll seeeeeeee. The pub was awesome and the location was what I needed. So, my only recommendation is to ban hockey teams and encourage mimes.

Great little overnight trip and the location is awesome. Half the hotel has full lake-view balconies. Very clean. There is a Starbucks in the lobby and a very popular pub that often has live entertainment. There is also a fine dining room right on the lake. Great location for enjoying the lake front and exploring the downtown. Huge farmers market across the street in the summer time.

The only thing is the hot tub and pool area could use a nice 2024 revamp!
Kind regards!

Excellent hotel and great dining options and amenities. Most of the staff was absolutely Fantastic except one person at the desk who was very rude and was unkind about the $15 per day voucher for not having the housekeeping clean our room everyday. Was embarrassing and uncalled for

Great location on Okanagan Lake. Stayed in original hotel room. Found room to be overall dark and dreary. Not what we expected from this type of hotel. Biggest disappointment was the beds. Old spring beds that were uncomfortable and collapsing. A foam pillow top would be an asset. They have a newer wing that is probably the better choice for comfort and modernization.

High quality accommodations. Great staff. Comfortable stay.

This property needs an upgrade and the beds were awful. We were there on New Years Eve, it was very loud with all the guests past a decent hour. The food at Barking Parrot is sub par, the breakfast is better. But seriously get some better beds and update the rooms, getting dated.

Got nailed for daily parking at the end. Not cool.
Wierd old men at the pool who dont stay at the hotel but some how have a pass to get in and perv, gym pass perhaps. Not cool.
Beds were uncomfortable. Room was cold with no working temperature control
Overall. The only great thing was the restaurant food.

Comfortable beds and clean rooms. The hotel lobby was still very festive (went there just after Christmas). Hot tub was too hot, difficulty breathing, felt like a combo of a sauna/hot tub. Otherwise the stay was good.

Great location and service. Only improvement would be to add a fan to the bathroom and de-clog shower drain.

Quick check in. Adequate Christmas buffet. more staff needed to direct customers. $15 for parking when street parking is free is just a cash grab.

First room wasn’t clean, moved me to a clean room that was right above the night club with loud music til 2am!. Third room was clean and quiet but will not be staying there again

Very welcoming and polite front desk personnel.
Great view of lake. Christmas decorations were to be admired.

The property is located in a beautiful spot directly by the lake. The hotel is expensive but it is old and the rooms are very average. There is nothing special about them. It definitely needs uplifting, renovations, including the restaurant. For this type of the hotel, you expect much more.
Thank you.

Okanagan Lake is beautiful... the bar serves food past 10 PM

It is weird that they give you a parking pass to stay the evening and then when you check out they charge you for parking. They should include parking in the price of the price of the room. They also don’t tell you when you check in you will be charge but wait until the next day when it is too late you change your mind if you want to stay there. It is a small town, parking should be included. It feels shady.

Annoying that the parking is not included. All the other properties in the area have free parking but these guys. No acceptable.

The room was perfect. Very large and clean.

11pm and loud music permeating the walls. Call front desk, “what’s going on?”
Hotel staff: “oh that’s our night club”
So yes, they put a night club in a hotel….you know a place where you got to sleep.
The sheer lack of planning and thought that went into the decision severely hurts my faith in humanity.
But hey they did offer us earplugs. Seriously.

We were there for a hockey tournament. The hotel was well staffed and accommodated everyone quickly and smoothly. Would stay there again.

Property was close to venue. Staff were great.
Breakfast was excellent. Only complaint would be the parking fee of $15.00 especially in winter season.

Like many of the other reviews say, there’s a nightclub on the ground floor and it is indeed extremely loud at night. I don’t think it matters where are you stay in this hotel, you can hear the music and you can hear people coming up to their room drunk at 2 AM. It’s really unfortunate because the hotel is lovely, it’s right on the water which makes for a beautiful walk with your coffee in the morning, and the staff are great. We have no concerns with the service at all. But unless you are a very heavy sleeper you won’t be getting much sleep at this hotel. It makes zero sense to me why they have a nightclub on the floor of a hotel. It’s not even a nice night club. More like a pub with the dance floor

The hotel was overpriced for how dated it is. The beds were uncomfortable, no fans in the bathroom and the water pressure was poor. Thank goodness we were on the 6th floor (603) and could not hear the noise from the nightclub, as we heard multiple complaints from other guests on our elevator rides. With all that being said, the location is great and the front desk staff were extremely welcoming.

Room 326 was directly above the bar which had loud music playing until 2 am. We were moved to another room which was quiet other than outside extractor fans switching on and off 24/7. It was impossible to control the heat and air in both rooms.

Music downstairs went on till 2 a.m. and kept us away on the 2nd floor. Not acceptable.

My room in the new building was huge and well appointed. Very large balcony with a great view of the park and lake. It had a very large bathroom with two sinks. Plenty of counter space and a great shower. Very pleased.
