I've stayed at this location a number times, both planned and unplanned (winter weather preventing me driving home). I love that they are pet friendly! We are always comfortable here. I also love the soap, shampoo, conditioner dispensers in the shower. You don't run out and you don't have to throw away little bottles. The breakfast and coffee the next morning is appreciated, too.`

The room was beautiful the place was clean. The noises from outside of the building and the rooms did not allow me to sleep. It was too noisy.

The hotel was clean and quiet. There were minimal gluten free options for breakfast.

I got in very late and the check in agent was very nice and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was very good.

Was taking Mom for surgery at Maine General and is very close and convenient.

2 night stay was for outpatient surgery at nearby medical facility. My only problem was lack of water pressure in sink - I assume for conservation purposes. Very comfortable otherwise.

Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean except for a few spots of mold on the soap holder in the shower.

This hotel seems quite new. My room (king bed) was fairly spacious & well equipped with a fridge, microwave, desk and comfortable chair. The breakfast was good. The entire hotel was very clean. If you enjoy walking, it is walkable to downtown Portland and the waterfront. DiMillo's was just under 2 miles, and I got to see the sights along the way.

The stay was overall good, room could’ve been cleaned more. Found hairs in my bed and shower was dirty. But other than that it was ok. The breakfast was ok. It’s a good place to stay overall if you’re on a budget!

The property was clean and was easy to find .The walls were a little thin and easy to her every one in the rooms besides you and there’s planes and trains go buy because there’s a train track and airport near buy .the hotel was clean but the morning breakfast wasn’t bad just could of used some different creamer choices other then plain creamer over all good value for the money though

Our stay was good. Property was very clean. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I didn’t like the fact that we were only allowed one complimentary parking spot and had to pay a fee to be able to park our other vehicle in the parking lot. I feel like if we are already spending the amount of money we did to stay there that we should not have to pay to park a car there. Especially when it’s not possible for us to have taken the same car. I know it was only a $10.00 but come on.

I have stayed multiple times at this hotel. This was by far my most disappointing stay. Prolonged check in as the woman seemed to be struggling with the computer system. The mattress was so old in my room that there is a visible divot and was very comfortable. The guests next door had a baby and let’s say the say was not peaceful or relaxing. Despite telling the front desk that the room needed a new mattress I was not moved (or even offered to move to another room). I stayed for 4 nights. No housekeeping for 3 days with a full trash can. Need I say more…

The La Quinta Inn in Portland is lovely. The location is perfect. There's free parking. The breakfast was solid. It's incredibly clean and the beds were super comfy. It's around the corner from the Holy Donut and a great CrossFit gym I dropped into during the morning. Would stay again!

Stayed here to be near hospital for treatment. There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink and the heaters-ours and the one next door were so noisy that they woke us up all night long when they kicked on and off. Staff was pleasant enough. No decaf coffee available in the morning before we left for the hospital.

This place was a delight. The entire staff was friendly and courteous and efficient.
The young lady running the kitchen was amazing. She was hard working and obviously enjoyed her job.
