Clean, up to date, quiet, friendly staff, good bfast. My only suggestion would be to offer a shuttle to the old town area. We chose this hotel thinking it was close enough to walk but it’s really not feasible as it’s along a highway and would not be a great walk in the dark after dinner.

The young girl at check in was very nice and got us checked in rather quickly. She was helpful with info on restaurants in the area and those that deliver. The hotel was clean and tidy even the room was nice my biggest complaint that make me rethink staying again was the bed it literally felt like that put a thin pad on the box spring and called it a day absolutely no give in the mattress. If you like a really firm bed then your gonna sleep fine I unfortunately didn't sleep much which made the trip not so fun. The breakfast they offered was better than a lot of hotels that offer some cereal, fruit and muffins they had eggs, sausage and waffles coffee and juice too. The dining room was clean and the young lady made sure to keep all items full and ready. Overall our stay wasn't bad at all but that bed will give me second thoughts.

The Quality Inn in Bolivar worked out very well for us. It is walking distance to Harpers Ferry and restaurants. The breakfast is as good, if not better, than some more expensive hotels. The vintage decor in the hallway fits the area. The room was updated. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Really attentive and informative hostess. She made cookies for the guests at night. Probably one of the best hostesses I’ve ever met.

This property is good for a limited stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just ok.

The hotel is undergoing renovations and visiting Harper’s Ferry in winter may have been a mistake. There were 6 guests total staying in the hotel. Breakfast was inedible. Stale bagels and muffins, expired yogurt and barely warm coffee. House keeping only comes once a week at this time. After complaining, a very nice staff person made coffee and brought a bag of tangerines from the kitchen. We hope things will change after the renovation but we probably will not stay again.

Stayed there as a base for biking the C&O from harpers ferry to DC and riding the Amtrak back. It worked perfectly for this, bike friendly with a wash station and first floor rooms to bring your bike in (remember to let them know so you get put on 1st floor), close to the train station (easy 2 mile ride). Rooms clean, some minor maintenance/wear issues. Great breakfast with waffles, egg, and biscuits/gravy, they opened it earlier than stated to allow an early start. Overall recommend

Hotel in bad need of renovation. Sink cracked. Carpets dull with age. Help ranged from friendly (at night) to barely verbal (morning). I'd only go back if there were no other choices, and I'd never consider bringing my wife.

Rooms smelled strongly of mold. The air conditioner window units seem to be the source. We requested a new role on, then a third new room before we found one we could sleep in. But when turning on the air conditioner, the smell was back so we had to leave it off in the heat. The woman at the desk was kind and helpful but the hotel itself is a DO NOT STAY from me.

The staff were set up to assist bikers coming from the C&O towpath and were very friendly. We were placed on the first floor so we didn't have to take our bikes upstairs, they showed us where to clean up our bikers and provided us with cold water as we just arrived at the hotel on a hot day. I would recommend the hotel and stay here again.

No cold water at breakfast but they have cold water in the gym and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
Internet TV did not work in our room and they said it was one of 2 rooms where they couldnt get it to work, but Wifi worked mostly.

The hotel location is ideal, within a short distance from Harper’s Ferry, on the flip side it is too far away from other eateries. The hotel staff were courteous but the breakfast was average. You would expect quality breakfast from a Quality Inn.
