Stayed in older part of a hotel that needs some work to bring it up to today’s standards mouse traps in the room not a good idea

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza with my daughter and grand daughter this past weekend. I have never had an unpleasant experience at the Crowne until then. We paid nearly $300.00 for our room. We were told the room had no window but was safe ??? I didnt realize fire code would allow a room without 2 exits. The room was dark and dingy and I felt very claustrophobic . I asked at the main desk if they had anything else and they offered a King deluxe. I said there were 3 of us and they said I could have a cot for another $20.00. I thought at least that would be better than the room I was in. Unfortunately when we tried to put the cot down, it didn't fit in the room. We had to push the furniture around in order to even lay it out, (partly on the bed.) Needless to say I hardly slept at all and am very disappointed in the rooms offered. I will say, the gentlemen on the desk seemed to be doing their best with what they had to offer but I have to say I was most disappointed.

We have stayed at this hotel many times when we visit family and we are usually happy with our stay. This time it was awful. There were hockey teams staying on the same floor. To say that it was loud and rowdy is an understatement. From 8am to 12pm there was constant banging of doors, children running and screaming in the hallways and parents partying in the hallways. This went on from Thursday to Saturday when we left. The hotel has security guards but they did nothing about this behaviour. I politely asked the parents to tone it down and was ignored. The hotel staff was useless.

The best thing about this hotel was the restaurants. We went to the pub the first night and the seafood/steak restaurant the next morning for breakfast. Both were very good. We had to go to the pub to fill our ice bucket, which was awkward. And when asked for more coffee for the room we were told they only had decaf and to find a cleaning person and ask them. Nobody went out of their way to assist us. The beds and pillows were lumpy. The hotel was a great location but other than that it was just ok.

Nice facilities, courteous and friendly staff. Was surprised to find the floor of my room to be somewhat dirty with pebbles on the carpet. Breakfast wasn't included, but a voucher is available for a fee. There is a nice breakfast buffet with a lot of options for omnivores and vegetarians, but not many vegan ones.

Could not get sleep due to other people keeping us awake all night. Hockey team of kids kept us awake all night.

Ive used this hotel through the years . I loje doing swimming and sauna and jacuzzi. The sauna used to work .but now it's been a while that it hasn't been working repaired

Very little noise insulation between rooms 119 and 118. The next room got in at midnight in party mode, woke us up. Eventually quieted to drunken conversation which they may as well been in our room with us. Came out of our room to find the security guard sitting in a chair 25 feet away relaxing, and I’m certain he had to have been hearing. Not the hotels fault these individuals were living their best life but the guard could have done something without having to be asked.

We had a lovely stay at the Crowne Plaza. The staff was very welcoming when we checked in. Our room was beautiful and spotless. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Looking forward to staying at the Crowne Plaza on our next visit to Fredericton.

It was good but disappointed there was no water bottle in rooms. Apparently you have to rent higher end to have water bottle.

Mirror in room was dirty, tub was dirty, sink was dirty. The hot tub was closed and the sauna has been closed every time we have stayed here. When we went swimming the corners and sides of the pool were green and dirt all around the pool on the ground leading to the drains in multiple places. The ceiling at the pool and in our room had dirt, and the paint was raised and peeling. Almost like water damage. The elevator floors both the day, night and next morning were not mopped or cleaned. They were filthy. The plugs and charging station by the bed were broken.
The people at the front desk were absolutely amazing accomodating our check-in times and were just friendly and helpful. The resturants in the same building seem more renovated an clean. Wve have stayed here previous times abd has not witnessed the same filth. For 250 dollars I expected a certain level of cleanliness and everything to be working.
