From the Bay Area and went to a Blues Concert in El Dorado. Needed a place to stay. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. We have made a not to stay again next time in the area.

I feel the prices are too high. the outer doors throughout are not in good shape. it takes a lo of effort for the ey to work and the doors to open. (stairs, pool)

It's been about our third time staying here and non of our experiences have been bad but the rates have gone up. Now for $200 a night I don't see why an establishment should only have one working elevator with 5 floors of people not to mention the fact that it wobbled on every stop on the way down.

Wall thermostat for AC did not work, room was very warm upon arrival. Elevators extremely slow, delayed door opening and would bounce as it descended between each floor, very scary. Bedroom sink kept stopping up and would hardly drain.

Waited 20 minutes to check in due to a long line . Then they gave us us a room with a king bed and a sofa bed even though I booked 2 queens 2 months ago. Hotels.com said the hotel has to compensate and the hotel says a king and sofa is “equivalent” to 2 queens . Which it definitely is not and neither the hotel nor hotels.com will compensate for this inconvenience .Then this morning there is no hot water to even shower . Would not return .

The floor next to the sink was sticky. The AC heater wall unit was very loud. Bed was sneaky. Breakfast was a joke.

The hotel is probably needing some major renovations. Esp. the windows and seals. The window in my room could be closed completely and there are big gaps between the window frames. As a result, we can hear whatever happened outside, traffic, trains and winds.

The hotel and staff are nice, but that was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever stayed on. We spend at least 1 night a momth in a hotel and know not tocexpect the best bed, but the bed at this hotel might as well have been sleeping on a hard floor

The bed was comfortable, neat and clean. The room had everything we needed: good TV, clean towels, microwave, fridge, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, couch and desk. There was a grouping of nice framed nature photos on the wall giving it a more home feel vs. some weird abstract hotel art. We appreciated the liquid Dove shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as well as the hand lotion and the cutest tiny Dove bar to wash your hands. I gave a 4 on cleanliness and staff because the carpet had a couple stains and the front desk receptionist lacked personality.

Hotel wasn’t any good! Management didn’t care and wasn’t honest about what was taking place at hotel! Use of drugs and homeless people staying there!

All 3 of the staff members we interacted with were above average in executing their tasks. They were kind, well trained and above all open and kind. We quit using LaQuinta in 2016 after a horrific experience in San Diego. This stay has restored the brand to our list of places to patronize.

OK stay for one night. People kept slamming doors and was very noisy, very thin walls. Bed was super uncomfortable but you get what you pay for.

The process towards checking in was smooth, once we got into our room we noticed our window was not closing properly so it was extremely cold in the room. We called room service to come help close it they told us someone will be with us shortly, after 20 minutes no one showed up. Later that night we walked back down to ask about the window & they showed up within minutes and came to deal with the window. The walls were a bit dirty. The breakfast was a bit limited, no gluten free options.

Everything was great except the dog smell was terrible in the hallways, elevator and room.

The shower and sink neither one provided hot water. When I told staff she did seem to care. She had me write my name on paper so a manager could call me. I never got a call. No offers for any compensation for having to take a cold shower!!

Brown spackles on white paint above sink.

Ceiling panel above shower head paint chipping and doesn’t look stable
Cold shower at 7am Sunday
Small gym - 15 and 20 lb dumbbells are gone

The room was clean and spacious. The walls are paper thin which allowed for me to hear ever noise outside and the guest who was coughingb all night.
The shower had no hot water.

Bathroom had boogers on the wall next to the toilet paper and on the door frame.
Bed and pillows were atrocious. Woke up in extreme back pain.
Noise level was unbearable. You could hear the adjoining rooms TV and every movement in the hall way. Under the main door was disturbing light from the hallway. Groups of kids were running the halls freely at 11:30 pm. Please enforce a curfew or make sporting teams sign a behavioral contract.

My sister and I traveled together and felt so safe and welcomed by the front desk. The room was very clean as well. A great place to stay while on our road trip for a quick, safe place.

After servicing my room, my hotel room was left open. Went to the day manager to express my concerns, he saud he woyls wtite an incident report then call me in my room after he got dine with another customer but I never heard from him. It was very upsetting . Someone could of came in my room and he dismissed my concerns

The hotel has a hot water problem. One they knowingly knew prior to checking in, but intentionally neglected to mention because they were more motivated to get your money. In addition, people of the night frequent the parking lot, and the breakfast is subpar and only open to 9am, not the traditional 10am.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Every day there was no hot water to take a shower. Even when i changed rooms, the water was super cold.

Stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. None of the days that I stayed here had hot water. Other guest, along with myself, complained about they are not being any hot water, but nothing was done to fix it. Other than not having hot water things seem to be pretty fun. A dance team was staying on the floor I was staying on and I’m assuming they won their competition since they were up partying almost all night, and yes, they were very loud, but I do not hold this against the hotel. I did not even file a complaint, I just let them enjoy their fun.

Handle broken off of sliding glass door. Management said that a previous guest broke the handle, and they were still waiting for the replacement part. Shower water was ice cold even after letting it run for 20 minutes. So much for water conservation. Never have experienced such a thing. Management was unable to address the issue.

Selected La Quinta because of their pet policy, which is reasonable $25 per pet and their pet friendly rooms. However, our room needs basic maintenance. The convenient patio door was damaged and very hard to open. When I requested a maintenance check on Saturday, I was informed "no maintenance today." The bathroom was updated - except the toilet seat was not the correct size, so the bowl "stuck out" farther than the seat. Breakfast was basic hot/cold items. Staff were very friendly
