The front desk had friendly staff. We went to Jackson for a Volleyball tournament. They said every room was booked. We had a suite and checked in with 4 people but only had 2 towels in our room. I asked for more but they wouldn’t give them to us until we turned in our two dirty towels. Again, we had 4 people staying in a room and only given 2 towels at a time. Mind blown. Breakfast was decent, not too noisy, parking was fine and we felt safe so all in all it was an OK stay but just annoying that we had to share towels.

This property was very obviously unclean. There was hair on the pillows when we first checked in, cobwebs everywhere, white fluids in the shape of a crotch on the couch, cobwebs, broken outlets and fixtures, a mini fridge that was barely cool, and rust on the fixtures. Don’t stay here.

The sheets were dirty. Gum in carpet. No hot water when you shower. The room smelled musky and mildew.

Greatly customer service

Expedia defaulted to Dec 21, after I had set the date for Dec 14, didn’t notice wrong date until confirmation. Immediately tried to cancel, Expedia said Holiday Inn had to confirm cancellation, but didn’t. I also asked at the Holiday Inn desk when I checked in on the 14th to cancel, they said I had to contac Expedia, which I did.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff member that helped me check-in was not very attentive. The room was not properly cleaned. I will not come back.

Major complaint is the bed was very hard and not comfortable at all.

Arrived and room smelt of urine and dirty. Also had adjoining room which was not disclosed before booking. After complaint we moved to another room which was better but deserves a rating of 1 star. Way to expensive for what you get.

Really appreciated that there are charging ports for electric vehicles, we were able to charge will we stay d the night. Nice big sized bed and room, loved that the hotel complimentary shampoo/conditioner was dove and not some generic cheap brand. Only downside was that the carpets felt a little sticky.

The hotel staff was wonderfully kind to us as we were in town for a funeral. We are VERY grateful to them. The bathroom was not great - rusted in spots.

Met our need for the night when we were too tired to make it all the way home.

From check-in to check out, my experience was SUPERB!!

I booked a two-night stay at this property on September 1st through Expedia. When I arrived for check-in this past weekend, I was informed that the property had been closed for business for several months. I had to book another hotel at the last minute for last minute prices. Expedia was no help at all when I contacted them.

Nice and clean

Floors were sticky, furniture was worn, linens stained, windows were filthy.

Staff is so nice they go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home when you're away from home.

Our floor smelled like weed and cigarettes the entire stay. The bathroom in our room smelled like pee. One of the pillowcase looked like it had blood stains on it, abd the room it's didn’t smell freshly cleaned.

The hotel itself was fine and the neighborhood was ok. Service was fast. Breakfast was included.

Had high hopes but was very unimpressed. I walked into my king suite to find a floor that didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in at least a week or two. Then the bathroom door, (which was hollow core, which I believe by law has to be solid per fire hazard) would actually close unless you picked up on the handle. When I went down to ask for 3 more towels(I had two for my family of 5), I was handed 2 and was told that’s all that was left. The breakfast was fairly good.

Hotel staff not engaging slow service. Lack of staff for check in. Front desk staff met customers wearing sweat pants with white t-shirts and flip flops. Staff Listening to music or you tube videos on ear pod and not helping customers

Front desk staff were unapologetic after I showed them a picture of urine left in the toilet upon arriving inside my room. There was another lady who works at the front desk that evening, however, she didn’t dress professionally, I thought she was a homeless person hanging out in the lobby. Once the issue was brought to the staff’s attention, she was kind enough switch room for me, with no apologies. But even the second room had issues. There was a stain on the fitted sheet right under the pillows and a piece of hair. The door frames in the bathroom is rusty. I’ve stayed with Holiday Inn & Suites for many many years, this location gives HI & S a bad name.

The place is old. Is not clean. People at the desk were very nice, but the place was not good. I wouldn’t stay in that hotel again.

So we stay at Holiday Inn Express all the time when we travel. It has always been a safe bet when booking hotels. This one is the exception. First, the staff is friendly and great but that was it. The room had a terrible smell to it. It was a cross between old smoking room and wiring melting smell. The fold out couch had a large black stain on it. We were only given one towel for a family of three and that towel had blood stains on it! The entire inside of the building was old and just seemed to have a general state of disrepair. It was definitely not up to the standards I have come to expect from a holiday day Inn Express. I do want to reiterate that there was no fault on the staff. It seemed the hotel itself is just old and forgotten by the corporation as a whole. Definitely my worst experience at a Holiday Inn Express.

The first room we were assigned has feces on the commode. Liquid on floor in front of vanity. Shower curtain was sour smelling from being wet. They gave us another room. Impossible for us to stay in. Smoked in. Cigars. Third room. Room was damp. Clamy feeling. Tub drained slowly. Generally unclean. Sticky floors. Just not good.

Overall not bad. I was supposed to have a room with a king sized bed, but received one with two queens instead. The room was clean, complimentary breakfast was nice, it was easy getting in and out of the property. The elevator was a little.....scary. Also, checkout was at 11:00am and someone came barging in my room at 10:20am to clean despite the sign on the door saying not to com in. That was pretty annoying as well. Will I stay here again? Probably not, but the stay itself wasn't horrible.

The room had a smoke smell to it, the carpet was nasty & sticky. The linens had stains, the couch did too with puncture holes in the furniture. Bathroom had no towels, no functioning soap dispenser and the bathroom door would stick because it looked like the room had water damage bad. Sinks would slowly drain. The bathroom had rust on the trim and evey fixture somehow had a dusty residue on everything. TV never worked in bedroom and intermittently the front room tv would work. Only a couple of outlets worked for us to charge our devices. There was only one ice machine that worked for the whole place. Now keep in mind we got the last double Queen suite and that was only because we prepaid. There was another family that came in after us very upset the hotel gave away their room. The reasoning was that they didn’t prepay which I was so shocked so asking to move was not even an option. The breakfast was okay but even going down at 6:45am they didn’t have things to serve. The pancake maker was broken too. Needless to say the pictures of property do not match what the hotel actually looks like. Now the staff was very nice but everything was lacking.

Check in was the strongest. Opened the door and another family was in the room. Got a different room and it was humid, AC worked ok but not great. Breakfast was ok. People were very friendly.
