Weekend Getaway with friends and it was great!! The service was good, they accommodated our friends by moving their room because of an issue and the food and drinks were lovely.

We stayed one night, and picked an expensive suite, the suite is small, all smells like molds, the HVAC DO NOT WORK, kept it on all night to heat and it never heated, one of the light in the bedroom do not work, tried to make coffee in the morning and the coffee machine has black molds inside the water container… And on top of all of that they charged us 45 more dollars for a resort fee. More than the two hundreds some that they collected for the one night.

Pros:Overall stay is good. The room is really clean and looks fresh/new. The aesthetics of the place is really refreshing. Cons: I wish they had more restaurants that are open in the evening. The bathroom didn't have the toiletries that a regular 3 star hotel would have included....

Property previous golf resort "remodeled" with the Margaritaville theme. Food was substandard (we ended going off property), staff was less than friendly. We paid in advance for our trip thru Expedia and when we checked in were told there is an additional $45 resort fee. Nothing mentioned in their description. The mini golf course was disgraceful. Lining missing or ripped on all but 2 holes. The only "Margaritaville" theme was a statute of a parrot and music in the background. The cafe doesn't open until 7 AM, so early risers don't have the option for a small snack. Plenty of seats outside to enjoy the views of the lake. For the price, it is just an remodeled golf resort that is in need of additional remodel and repair.

The room was filthy and extremely hot-I had to turn it down to 60 to make it even tolerable and even then I woke up sweating profusely because the a/c just wouldn’t kick on. The room was poorly stocked and had dirty countertops. The valet guys put my car in sports mode and put WAY more miles on it than is acceptable for a single valet park and a single trip to pick me up-only leaving me to believe the young guys were taking my almost brand new car for joy rides. Completely unacceptable and insanely overpriced.

Everything was good other then the landshark bar and grill....wont go back to that place.. patio on balcony was filled with spiderweb and alot of dead bugs. but the stay was peaceful and relaxing and alright.

The front desk stafff some of them are very rude. I asked one question about the breakfast if it was included. I was talked to like a child, and told next time I needed to pay attention to what my reservation included. The ac did not work in our room we didnt alert anyone because we didnt feel like they would care anyway. I would not stay here again every employee we encountered acted if they were bothered by our questions. Very dissappointed in our stay and it was for our 1 year wedding anniversary

It was okay. The experience was just okay. So i will say for black Americans to think twice. There a few times where i was in line at the front desk or at their coffee shop and was purposely overlooked and the person behind me was served. It happened more than once so it wasn’t a coincidence. Just think twice about going and use your wisdom. The place is nice. All of the restaurants serve the same thing basically. The slide is closed during our 5 day stay.

Out of the way resort, wonderful staff, great view of Lake Conroe.

Loved the heated pools and different activities available

Very relaxing. Wonderful service. Very clean amenities. My only complaint was the bed was rock hard. I ended up sleeping on the couch which was less than good but when trying to sleep in the king size bed, I would wake several times due to how uncomfortable it was. My husband had the same issues and ended up taking Advil every morning due to a back ache. We stayed in a king suite and the bed was awful

Common areas were unclean!!! Same trash on floor 4 days later!! Light fixture was reported broken on arrival. Never replaced or fixed. TERRIBLE frozen drinks that Margaritaville is known for. When we asked to have the drink replaced bartender was RUDE. Manager offered a small compensation with a food a drink voucher but the cleanliness was not dressed.

They nickel and dime you with little fees. They charged my room for the bar when I paid with my cc at the bar. The rooms smelled musty. Thought it was more of an adult resort but children everywhere.

Beautiful resort. Wish I had more time to spend. First night the room next door was extremely noisy and was a disruption. Eventually after some hours security came. They must have been very young group. There are a lot of bugs in our room like little Nat flies and outside as well makes it difficult to enjoy sitting outside once the sun goes down. Not much to do on the resort at night. Overall it’s very beautiful and would visit again for a longer period of time

Food stains in hallway for 2 days. Our room was on the first floor. I wanted a higher floor with Balcony but was told none was available. Our view was the driveway entrance and valet parking. For these prices we should have had a better room. The pool areas very clean and nice. Overall stay was good but disappointed on our room choice.

Margaritaville Lake Conroe/Houston does accommodate resort guests like other resorts I have visited. No towels were available for the pool area. Coffee pot did not work, someone came in our room while we were at the pool. neither restaurant offered us seating for dinner. Our group of 4 tried to have dinner at either of the 2 restaurants on site and we were told there is a 45 minute wait. We noticed multiple tables open and available and a line of waiting customers for a tablewas not present. We offered our phone number and asked to be placed on the waiting list, which we never received a call or text. At 10 pm we decided to order pizza. Very disappointing stay.

Nice property more family oriented with the water park. Very loud and noisy rooms. A great place to stay with children

We had a great time. I would have gave a 5 star all around but the balcony was so dirty. I love the view but it has spiders on the bars and bugs on the floor. i had to go to the store to buy insect spray and cleaning supplies to clean it since i love spending time on the balcony. The staff and the hotel was great !

The bed bug issue needs to be resolved - it is unacceptable.

I will start with the positives first. The food was great and reasonably priced, the staff there are very friendly. All of the pools area are nice and well maintained and they really do a great job of catering to families with small kids and as well as adults. The lobby is very clean and it smells amazing so they do a very good job of keeping the common areas clean but that is where the cleanliness ends. Our room wasn’t clean at all, the carpet in the living room area was filthy. There was old stains on the carpet and the couch as well. There were spiders and old spider webs in the corner of the rooms and gnats and bugs. The balcony was so gross. There was dead bugs, spider web and dirt everywhere. It looks like they have never bothered to power wash the balconies at all. You pay a $45 daily resort fee but there are no real perks, they also do not clean your room daily unless you request it but considering the resort fee this should be automatically done. Although I appreciate the size of the bathrooms mine wasn’t clean either. There was build up soap scum on the glass in the shower and old brown stains in the tub. I had to send my husband to the store to buy Lysol and sponges so I could clean the bathroom before I felt comfortable bathing my 1 year old in the tub. For the price of this place it’s not worth coming back. Who wants to pay all that money just to have to clean and scrub the place down beforehand?

What a lovely property! So much to do. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Great food and beverage service and quality. The golf course is beautifully maintained and very playable.

I was pleasantly surprised because this place is like a hidden gem. The staff was super friendly, but if you have a request, it might take a while for them to get it to you because apparently the front desk people have to run items up to your room which really isn’t their fault. it was like being on a cruise ship without being on a cruise ship. Would love to go back.

Very nice time awesome service from Food and Beverage Director Matt and his Assistant Cailin Bracewell as they discussed my daughters wedding opputunities and showed us around. Very pleasant and helpful. Matt is the manager of landshark also and takes excellent care of customers and checks on how everything is. Park is gret fun and clean and well doingthe week almost empty we had pools to ourselves and staff polite and helpful. Only issue was the bathroom vent was dirty and dusty but Hotel management was quick to resolve.

It was a nice short getaway. Customer service could’ve been better.
