The hotel needs a cleaning. Bath mat was black with mold and when I told the girl when I checked out it didn’t seem to be a big deal. The door to the room locked but was loose, mold above the window and the bathroom door didn’t close. When I told them the juice machine had no containers of liquid they brought out a sign for -Out of Order.

The property was nice but the surroundings properties werent all that kind of run down area... but this is a small town

This is my 2nd stay within the past 3 months, in town on business. The lady at the front desk it amazing! She has womderful customer service skills, very helpful, knowledgeable and remembered me and called me by my name. Which was really cool made it personal and asked about the outcome of my last visit really nice to know that i meant that much tp het as a customer that she really did care and remembered me. In all my years 40 to be exact, ive never felt so welcomed and special as I do when i stay at the comfort inn in Conover, NC. Hospitality was awesome provided extras that i needed during my stay, flexible with me needing extra time to check out. Always a smile on her face. She is a great assset to your company and represents it very well. As the first contact when you arrive her smiling face ,warm welcome and personable personality means more to me then I can express. I def recommend this hotel, come stay the night and youll see why!!

Room was old. No chair at the desk. But it was clean

Building fire alarm system was powered off completely when I arrived. Notified front desk the next morning and confirmed that the fire alarm system had been shut off, and they were not performing firewatch as required by law. Staff turned the fire alarm system back on following a visit from the city fire marshal. Bathroom was very dark, with no overhead lighting and smelled like the area around the toilet had not been cleaned, with a faint urine smell. My room was facing the parking lot, and the window air conditioning unit pulled cigarette and marijuana smoke odor into the room throughout the night as patrons stepped outside to smoke directly under my room. When I contacted hotel staff regarding the issues with my stay, they advised they would not issue a refund or provide any compensation since I had stayed three nights, even though there seemed to be more issues each night.

Clean comfortable room.

There was a lingering tobacco smell in the room, probably from when it was once a smoking room.

We have stayed here once before while visiting family. It is a nice, clean hotel and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was excellent, including bacon, sausage, eggs and waffles. The hotel was quiet and well maintained. I did not love the pillows--not big enough.

Blankets were dirty and hotel condition I would say is fair

Very low budget property and you get what you pay for. the bathroom was not very clean at all.

The front doors were broken. Only one elevator was working. There were stains on the furniture and splatter of some sort on the headboard. The ac unit worked but sounded like it was on it’s last leg. The staff was very nice, but the faculty is rundown and dirty. Would not stay here again.

We usual come to this hotel when working in the area. When we were getting on the elevator it seemed sketchy and then the next morning it was out of order so I didn’t get on it the rest of the stay. Other than that it’s a great reasonable hotel and the staff is very nice.

I was very pleased, stayed in Hickory NC two nights and three nights in Comfort Inn in Hershey Pennsylvania. Both facilities extremely nice and staff were very pleasant both places

We had 4 adults and one child. Not enough shampoo and conditioners and towels. Door would not unlock. Both keys did not work. The man had to let us in by the buzzer. Elevators were out. Breakfast was very good 👍

Stay here regularly. Good prices, comfortable rooms, clean and nice breakfast.

Pool was not what was presented on web site. Floor ice maker did not work

room was full of old food had bad smell and bed gad been slept in desk clerk gave us a 2nd room which was the same desk clerk did not apñogize or say anything we left hotel

The rooms were fine and clean. However, the lobby, elevator and hallways were old and dingy looking and smelled like weed. If you can’t smoke cigarettes in these hotels, you shouldn’t be able to smoke weed either! Don’t even bother with the crazy lamp set-up on the fourth floor vending area!! Pool deck is in need of a make over. It was quiet during the night, allowing for a good nights sleep.

Everything was good!

The staff was friendly and courteous. I had a problem with a manual deposit at my bank's ATM the morning we left town to go to the hotel. The employee checking us in got the manager on duty and he made sure that our reservation would be ok til the issue with my bank was resolved. I truly appreciate that great customer service!! After coming in with my kids from a long day of dance competition I really wanted coffee and the young man working had just made some. That made this tired Mama happy. The beds were really comfortable and everything was clean. Breakfast was great! Even when we got there one morning about 15 minutes before breakfast ended Ms Margie made waffle batter for us. Employees at other hotels might've said they couldn't but she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The pool was clean and my kids enjoyed being able to swim when there was a break in the rainy weather. When we're back in the area we will definitely stay here again and I will recommend it to my friends.

The rooms are not clean. The manager has attitude issues.

We only stayed for one night but the room was so clean, I would have stayed a week. Now initially, I had reservations about staying here because the parking lot was very dark and the front of the hotel was combined with an entrance to a deserted restaurant and as we drove around the building at night because the hotel entrance was not noticeable, there were people just randomly standing around and it was 9pm. Just seemed odd but no one was a bother and we walked on into a beautiful front lobby. The outside doesn't look like much in the dark but WOW the inside was spotless! They just had renovated and still in some progress on a few things, but it was super clean. I have never seen a hotel this clean!!!! The room was a little warm but after turning on the QUIET air conditioner, it quickly cooled down. The bathroom was spotless, not a single spot or hair! Not that I'm that picky, I'm just stating that it was nice to not have to clean up after it was supposed to be cleaned up. The bedroom was so clean and the sheets were nice and soft. Pillows were amazing with various feels and bed was comfortable. They had a shade and curtains to block out pool light. I would recommend to others. Shout out to Anthony who was the night clerk that made me laugh and was super nice. He made me feel comfortable about the questionable outside. Ashley was going on a break, but as she saw us getting off the elevator with our bags, she went back to take care of us without hesitation. That was nice!

Quick family vacation to visit family. Very nice accommodations and very helpful staff. Could use more luggage carts for check out.

Definitely a decent place to stay. Clean room and good breakfast. The TV guide was perplexing.

We had to stay one night because our child is in NICU when we walked in the hotel around 8pm they had music blaring and cussing, the elevator and hall smelled like weed/pot the front lady would barely speak and was not very nice when she did speak.

Not clean, very disappointing.

Property was is under construction which is not mentioned. However that doesn’t excuse the bathrooms in the lobby from being dirty. Our bathroom in the room had a grape under the sink on the floor. Which is strange enough. The refrigerator in the room would not keep our water cold. Only one I e machine was working on the 6th floor! People are friendly.l, but that isn’t enough when you want to stay overnight. I will not chose to stay here again.
