The problem was the attitude of the guy at the desk at checkout. I asked for a receipt for the night and got a lot of attitude. I apologize that this location deals with a lot of construction people and some may be a problem. My wife and I are not the problem and attitude like his needs to be addressed. I was told that i could not get a receipt because I booked thru Hotels.com. - really? What about a receipt for the credit card they took for incidentals? The breakfast was BAD and nothing including the coffee was fresh. I could have overlooked all of it - but the attitude got me.

Bed was comfortable.
Towels were a bit of a joke, some being acceptable others were washed but stained badly and some were so worn that should have been in the rag bag AWHILE ago.
Definitely want to kick it up a notch if you were to come back to stay in this area.

I left my phone and I went back to look for it and they started yelling and threatening me and my wife. We had to call the police. We were threatened and ganged up on by their staff. They thought we said they stole it, I made it very I clear I left it. Cops handled it. I want my refund.

Walked in the room, toilet was filthy! We had 3 pillows on our bed, went to the front, asked for more. He said he’d call housekeeping. While I was still in there, the housekeeper came in and shouted, “they will just have to be uncomfortable, we don’t have no more pillows”. Ran out of toilet paper our last night, called front at 7pm, they never came to drop off toilet paper. Side of bed by door was broken and had to sleep in the middle of a kings size, 2 adults.

Thete was roaches in bathroom. And there was food on the floor it i had saw it before we got ready for bed i would have check out that night . Night person was rude like he was better then everyone else

It was the absolute worst stay I have ever ever had. Between the rude front desk lady to the boogers on the wall it was like literally hell. I mean it was horrifying between loud music played all night to the sirens yelling fighting outside. The front desk lady//did not care. I cannot recommend enough “do not stay here.” Shame on you super eight.

I did not know a deposit was required upon check in after paying for my room in advance. Very disappointing. I don’t typically stay at a motel that requires a deposit because they don’t trust their clientele to be responsible or safe to be around. My last stay at this property, but it might work for someone else who is not as picky.

Charged my credit card $25 for absolutely nothing. At checkout put it back on card. Ridiculous practice.

Made me take a smoking room after i had already paid due to booking through a 3rd party. No hand soap or shampoo. The 1st room card didn't work. Didn't write down the wifi password... The only good thing was the staffer that brought me some shampoo was super nice and helped me get logged in to the wifi.

The space was clean, linens appeared clean although visibly worn (holes in sheets and blanket), easy to find, breakfast good, price was very reasonable.

Laminate tile on floor is peeling.
Only 2 towels first day. Staff only replenished with one towel even thought 2 people in the room. Horrible Wi-Fi most rundown Super 8 we have ever stayed at.

I always stay here when in Monroe. I can walk to an excellent Mexican restaurant and Walmart. It is close to my daughter's house and clean and well-maintained.

The room was dirty with left over pizza boxes when we checked in at 4:00. They did get it clean by 7:00 and left a note of apology.

When I checked in and got tiny room people were outside smoking dope and talking loud ALL night long. I didn’t get any rest that I paid for and I didn’t even stay the second night because of it. I wouldn’t EVER recommend this hotel/motel to anyone. It was absolutely HORRIBLe and I will never come back.

Parties outside til 1am by long term guests and the party restarted at 530am by the same guests. Hotel was full of people working in area for companies putting them there while in town. Too noisy I got up and left at 540am just to get some peace and quiet. You need to take them off your roster

Check in and check out was easy. Room was clean and quiet. Had no problems on my stay at all, and the Mexican restaurant next door was very good!

Good for the price. Room had TV, microwave, and fridge. Hotel is sitting between Walmart and a Mexican restaurant. Breakfast was a dud, but there are plenty of places to eat close by.

The breakfast was disappointing.
The woman behind the desk at check-in was friendly, helpful, and very enjoyable to be around. In the morning the desk clerk did not even really speak to us.

Basic room, older but resonably clean and comfortable...i would say a good deal for the price.

Room was clean, large. The building is the same today as it was 50 years ago when I first stayed. Stairs would not meet current OSHA standards, dangerous if not paying attention. Door frame separating from wall. Air conditioner not working very swell, does its own thing. Frig temp can't be adjusted. Bath fixtures dirty with age.

I got bed bugs and they tried to charge $150 smoking fee when no on smoked in the room there were children. Staff very unprofessional and management sucks

Cockroaches in room. Paint peeling off walls and door jam. Orange juice was only water. This is not even a 1 star and shouldnt pay these fees for a junky room. And I have pictures.

The room was not clean, the tv did not work and you could see the outside under the door. I called the desk one time and went by the office no one showed up to fix the tv. My stay at Super8 normally be good.

Maintenance was very good. Evening personnel was professional, friendly, and very efficient. Daytime personnel was surly, and unfriendly.

After paying $77 for a room online we were then told at the property they needed a $50 cash deposit…I was only staying at this hotel because my car broke down on a road trip and it was the closest to where I was. When I woke up and got to the complimentary “breakfast” i was very disappointed when all that was offered was prepackaged honeybuns, bottled orange juice that looked old and bottled apple juice that didn’t look much better.
