Our first room the shower was broken, the second room she put us right above the lobby, the floor vibrated from something, it was also right across from the elevator so we heard everything, above our entry door there was about a 1"gap so it was so loud. The room was extremely dirty, even the bedding was dirty and stained.
I have a 2 year old granddaughter that was with us so I asked to be moved again. They put us on 1st floor right next to the pool and told us it was a quiet room. It was once again so loud and had ants galore in the bathroom, along with vomit on the shower curtain, which I've taken photos of all this. I just can't believe the horror stay we had for 4 days. Never staying at a Wyndham hotel again. The front desk people were not the best, other than 1 older lady and 1 younger girl. The indoor pool was ice cold, the hot tub was in need of painting.

This was probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in! Even the stairwell was clean which most hotels ignore. Hot tub was nice and not too hot. Staff was very friendly and kind. Pretty good breakfast with decent selections. I would definitely come back.

Room was in great shape and bed was comfortable. When cleaning room they may want to check drain for hair. Took a bath and a long curly hair came out of the drain. Also the pool room didnt have towels and could use a little upkeep.

The hotel was fine. Rooms were small. Hallways were narrow. Breakfast was good. Pool needed some repairs. Nothing spectacular, but not terrible. The A/C unit was old and very noisy. Hotel could use some updates.

I stayed here with my 12 and 13 year old for a spring break overnight trip. The hotel was clean and tastfully decorated. It was close to the places we were visiting which made it very convenient. Checkin was easy. The pool area was nice. The outdoor area looked really neat for warmer months. The breakfast was really good. We enjoyed yogurt parfaits, waffles with fruit, and the biscuits and gravy. The 24/7 hot chocolate and coffee bar was a hit. We would definitely stay here again when we come to the area.

Very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was generous and had fresh fruit along with standard eggs, biscuits & gravy, ham. Had a little noise in the hallways early on, but was pretty quiet during sleeping hours. All in all a great stay for a reasonable price.

Very nice refurbished hotel, high quality materials and workmanship including towels, bedding and linens. Quiet and comfortable. TV channels were a little sparse but adequate and sink was full of slime from drain cleaning. minor problem and excusable this one time. Top notch breakfast and breakfast room for a midrange hotel. My third stay and it seems to improve every time I return.

Everyone that worked there were kind and hospitable. The rooms were clean, the coffee in the coffeemaker was actually a good kind. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have had at a LaQuinta or any other hotel for that matter.
Will definitely stay there again when in the DesMoines area.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Quinta. We arrived late and the person at the front desk was very nice. We asked for a pet friendly room and our room was very clean and modern. The lobby offered hot drinks and the breakfast had a a large variety of food and beverages.

we found the La Quinta in Clive to be well kept and friendly. It is in a plaza that has other hotels, two restaurants, (3 if you count Wendy's) and is very convenient to I35 and I80.
We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is just average and ok. We stay here because we have 2 little dogs. The room was super hot even after completely turning off the heat in November, but probably the biggest issues were the intense smell of chemicals/bad air fresheners throughout the entire hotel and the insane pounding on the floor above us until past 1am. We've stayed at another LaQuinta in the Des Moines area and it was a far nicer hote.

We stayed here overnight for a friend's wedding. The hotel was very well put together and very well decorated for Halloween, probably my favorite part! Was able to check in early, very friendly service at the front desk. Room was set up different with the sink being right inside as you walked in the door to the left, bathroom itself was smaller. The shampoo and condition and lotion in the bottles were not Dove brand, even though that's what it claims to be. Bed was comfy, and breakfast had good choices.

The hotel is really very nice and appears to be newly remodeled. It would be nice if the fitness center was available before 7:00 am though. All in all a very clean and quiet place.
