Awesome hotel

Front desk was very friendly and welcoming

The rolm was cozy and clean. The centre area of the hotel had a unique atmosphere - the pool, coffee shop, restaurant and bar are open in the middle. We would stay again.

Arrived at the hotel, walked in towards the counter (my husband behind me) and was completely ignored by the front desk clerk, the clerk greeted only my husband and would not address me or even look at me. When we brought this forward as unacceptable the next morning the woman at the desk let us know that Jay was the manager, she brought forward a standard apology, didn't even ask our names, no attempt to make it better or that there would be consequences for the clerk. The experience soured the whole stay.

Attended a convention on site and brought my daughter and granddaughter along. Had a king suite. Plenty of space, comfy bed, excellent buffets at convention. Family ate in restaurant for one breakfast and enjoyed it. Facility was having problems with elevators but we're working late through Friday night to fix but still not working in the morning.

was upgraded to a suite. room was comfortable and spacious. Hotel is very nice since renovations and staff are very courteous. Food in resturant was not that great, very greasy.

I have stayed twice previously in the last few years, and this third stay was noticeably the worst in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Our room was pretty gross. We could see handprints on the headboards over both our beds and dirty prints on the bathroom door. The lock to the bathroom door was broken and did not function. The light for the smaller mirror in the bathroom also did not function. There were crumbs around the carpet in the room and stains on the pillow cases. When we checked in and got to our floor, there were trays on the ground outside of the rooms of leftovers from room service orders - when we left the next morning they were all still there, plus additional near the elevators. Overnight there were people shouting and talking very loudly in the hallway from 1230-3am - annoying but we did not call anyone about it, we did hear another neighbouring room exit and say something, but it continued.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The restaurant had some good choices. The location would be handy for the airport but it was a little too far, and the traffic too busy, for me to go shopping or out to a restaurant.
