Room smelled like cigarettes and dog. Room was clean in appearance but definitely been used well. All in all, not a bad room for price and what we needed.

The showerhead popped off when I turned the water on. I took forever to get it put back on had to make it myself because I needed to take a shower. I was in a hurry and undressed and did not want to call and wait for maintenance so I fixed it myself, but it took forever to get hot water. Also also smelled like pot smoke. And the bed was not comfortable at all

My day was pretty basic. I work a lot so I was not at the hotel except to sleep and then get up and go back to work. The service was above average. The gentleman that checked me in was extremely nice and welcoming.
The condition of the hotel is not the best and I understand that due to the situation here in Portland, there are, some not so typical guests at times so I don’t hold that against the hotel. I do however feel that Management could do a better job controlling people smoking right outside the door and better control or better engage individuals who are loud and obnoxious to give other guests, a better experience .

Went with family tired from travel, two hour late check in, one room smelled like wet dog and pet urine for the two days. Tried Clorox wipes, didn’t help. Very disappointing.

The check in was smooth and the gentlemen at the desk was polite. However, the second day the young lady at the desk was horrible. It was our first time staying at this chain of hotels and we had no idea how housekeeping worked (we decided to stay there because of the location but immediately regretted it.) I simply asked if we could get clean towels and the trash picked up from the hallway. The lady said we had to take our dirty towels to the reception and exchange them for clean ones. As for the trash, she replied with an attitude "we dont have personnel 24 hours to pick up your trash." Never again...stay only if you really need to.

Once we got past the smell, the uncleanliness, the load and rowdy neighbors, we made it our room and began to setup for the night. After pulling out the sofa bed, my son refused to sleep on it because it was filthy and in extremely poor shape. We were able to switch to a different room with an actual bed he could use.
The “grab and go” breakfast is a joke. Coffee was empty, decaf is instant, and hot water ran out while trying to make instant oatmeal. There are muffins, but no fruit, toast, or anything else that may resemble breakfast.

The best part was the Customer Service at check in. GRACE was just amazing! She was nice, polite and accomodated our every need. I will use this motel chain again, because of her.

The girl at the counter "Grace" was very polite and professional. The room was very good and smelled a lot better than last time. My only complaint was that garbage cans were hard to find and overflowing with trash. Cigarette smokers threw their butts all over the grounds instead of in the provided butt cans. That was pretty gross. I think Grace was by herself, so I think they were understaffed.

Upon checking in the front desk somehow my reservation was interrupted and there was a glitch into acquiring my room. Expedia is an Excellent site and I never had issues with the site. It was the Hotel staff or hotel computer system that caused the mishap with my room. While sleeping and resting (after a seven hour drive and finally resting) l was interrupted by the hotel front desk clerk. I answered my door and she Insisted I go and pay for my room, of which I had already set up through Expedia. I found that very discomforting and in a way degrading. I would like to understand what happened and why this had to be handled in this manner. I didn't ask upon my departure I jus wanted to go upon my business. Please let me know what I did wrong with my reservation and how can I do things differently to avoid this from happening again.

Lots of shopping and restaurants - loved that it had a full kitchen and the bed was pretty comfortable. Check in and out was very easy, but disappointed that I could not pay cash for the two nights. I'm glad I had the $ in my bank account because they would not take cash.
The heater was very loud and annoying (Room 130), woke me up several times during the night when it came on. Key card did not work very well, had to try it four or five times before the green light came on.
When they advertised "breakfast", I did not realize it would be just a cart with oatmeal and granola bars. They also did not have decaf coffee which was also disappointing. I've never stayed somewhere that it wasn't an option.
Overall a decent experience

Took a chance, that I will never do again. Shower didn't work (luckily one night stay), the hallways smelled and were filled with trash. Internet was extremely slow. Enough said.

This is a nice-looking property, but I was shocked to find a full kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, sink, microwave, 2-burner stove and plenty of cabinets - all of which were totally empty. There was no coffee pot, no pots or pans of any kind, no cutlery, no plates, cups or glasses. (I went back to my RV which was being worked on near by and got what I needed rather than invest in one of their "kitchen packages.") Other than black areas (mold?) on the grout between the tub and tile, the room looked clean. The bed was comfortable, the hot water, heat and AC worked (although the heater was noisy when it kicked in), but the room was a long walk from the elevator. I learned to use the back stairs and park close to the rear door, although the landings were often littered with cigarette butts and trash bags, and the rear door was never locked. (This is a no smoking property, and it seemed that the smokers used that exit to go outside to smoke.) If I need a hotel in Hillsboro in the future, I will look elsewhere, but if I can't find a similar price, I would stay here again.

Very basic. It was clean but well used, approaching shabby. Tiny room, other noises from guests readily apparent. Very difficult to find the entrance; not their problem but terrible traffic planning.

This is the second time I have stayed at the extended stay in Hillsboro, this time we ended up leaving early because the Wi-Fi was terrible, and could not get it fixed, also found dog poop in the hallway and reported it to the front desk, stinky trash in the stairwells that was not emptied. I will not book this property again.

They wanted to charge me for my service dog for one. I was on the second floor and there was somebody that was being very loud in the hallway most of the night I was barely able to sleep.

Piled up rubbish and smoking in rooms throughout this hotel - despite the 'Non-smoking' room labels on doors. The room configuration was great so very disappointed as was hoping to return for a month next year. Would not come back here! I would describe this place as 'feral' and because it was so poorly looked after, with mounds (literally) of trash in and around the massive bin in the stairwell that was also so dirty it must have been a month since its floors were cleaned. I never heard a vacuum cleaner the entire 5 days I was there even though there was dirt and leaves all down the carpeted hallway. The state of the place, the lack of oversight by staff, meant it didn't feel safe.

Besides the smoke alarm going off and the entire hotel being evacuated at 3:30 in the morning until the fire department arrived and confirmed it was a false alarm, the room was clean and staff was great.

I wasn't aware it has a kitchen so I will be looking for Extended Stay hotels in my future travels. I loved that it was in a convenient location with restaurants and shopping in a walkable distance.

So check in is at 3pm at this hotel. We showed up at 6:30pm and the room wasn’t ready, they were short staffed and had to call other properties for help. Ok, I get it. Short staffed is a regular thing now. Tim at the front desk apologized and was really nice. I asked if we could have a later check out for the inconvenience, he said yes and said we could check out at noon instead of 11am. Awesome, thank you. We went to our room and it smelled nice, but it looked like a complete facade. The floors were super sticky and looked like they hadn’t been swept or mopped. The lock on the door was falling off, the door handle to the bedroom was broken and fell off once. I did the best I could to get it back on and stay. Under the bed was FILTHY and had trash under it…they don’t look under the bed when they clean? The microwave plate was missing and the microwave just wouldn’t work at all. They didn't have silverware, they didn’t have plates, they had a couple pots and pans to borrow and that was basically it. The following day for check out, we were told noon, yet someone came knocking on our door at 11:30 and said check out was at 11. I informed her we were given a later check out since our room wasn’t even remotely close to ready at the proper check in time. She said she was not informed about that but if we checked out later than 11:59 we would be charged a late fee. Zero stars.
Tim was great. So was the sweet lady who worked night shift.

It was a good stay. We just wish we would of had another trash can in the room besides the one in the bathroom.

Had friends coming in to town. They checked in to find their assigned room dirty complete with used Mens underwear left from a previous guest. When they requested a new room the front desk tried to charge them a fee to switch rooms.
I show up to check into my room (booked and payed for already) and get told that the only room available is listed as dirty. The front desk girl seriously asked me if I minded that the room was dirty and that they could get house keeping to come in the morning. With no rooms, the front desk girl was told by her manager to transfer us to their sister property. She then cancelled both reservations and told us it would be “impersonating” us under a name not her own to call the sister property to transfer us over and that we would need to remake new reservations elsewhere.

The exterior of the hotel looks great, lobby is fine too, however, the room hallways and rooms are terrible. They look like an old Motel 6. The rooms have very old run down furniture, beds feel terrible, like $20 mattresses, and the carpet in the room and hallways need to be replaced bad! The hallways and rooms need a COMPLETE renovation, just too old and nasty!!
The area is nice, but hotel is run down!!

I checked out a coffeemaker for my room but in the morning when I went to make coffee, I found the old filter and grounds all dried up in the coffeemaker. It was never even checked or cleaned before passing it off to me. I tried to clean it and use it but it made nasty tasting coffee. Very disappointing that no one checked it before giving it to me.

Staff is great , is very understanding and a wonderful. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that their breakfast sucks or it's just muffins granola bars and coffee with not very good creamer and they only put it out until 9:30 from 6:30 I definiteley think they need to put fresh fruit or something like that out

The receptionist helpful. Breakfast nothing special.

The staff was less than friendly. The late night telephone buzzer doesn’t even work. We were waiting 15-20 minutes to be let in because the lady in the back couldn’t hear us and then she was not nice on top of the whole ordeal.
