Although they’re going through renovations, the hotel is exceptionally clean and the front desk women are extremely nice. I stay here every week and it’s my favorite hotel in Aiken, SC

I am always thankful for a place to rest my head but I will not be recommending this hotel or returning here in future stays in Aiken. The staff that I encountered were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The state of the hotel was not good and I am not even close to a picky person. The bed was clean and comfortable but a lot of the outlets didn’t work, the furniture was falling apart, the rug was dirty, the toilet seat was peeling, and the coffee maker water reservoir was full of coffee grounds which rendered it useless. Every smoke detector on my hallway was covered with a plastic bag and taped up (obviously they had been painting but yikes!). However, the breakfast was good and the coffee was delicious.

The property is in the process of a face lift, though it did not affect our stay. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Stag couldn’t care less didn’t even look at you. Facilities were disgusting. Noisy neighbors and probably long term residents. Says smoke free room was riddled with smoke smell. Couldn’t spray enough chemicals to cover it up. Gross

Wish I could give it less than one star! Carpets in the main areas were filthy. Checked in and the first room she assigned us room 202 had liquor bottles everywhere and stained sheets and had not been cleaned. Went back to desk girl apologized then re assigned us to room 107 which we opened the door and was impaled by the most awful dog smelly cat urine smell. Went to put down our bags and looked down and saw a big ole pool of why looked like blood. Went back to desk and she was like oh I’m so sorry and wanted to try to assign us another room. I told her after being grossed out by the blood I would pass and find another hotel. She then told me she could not refund my money even though I had checked in literally 10 min before and had not even got to actually check in to a room because they were filthy. Supposedly manager will call me tomorrow but I am not holding my breath cuz clearly they do not care about the hotel, customer service, or cleanliness

Property needs work for sure. Beds were uncomfortable. The bed frames make noise when you turn over. There was a hole in the floor in our room. They had tried to cover it but it was still noticeable. I don’t think it’s worth even 60$ a night. Room is small as well. Staff was nice though. There was a younger lady that checked us in and she was nice enough to give suggestions on places to eat. All staff interactions were great. Outside of the property was pretty nice as well. Just the inside needs an upgrade for sure. Can’t speak for breakfast as we didn’t eat there. There was a false fire alarm during our stay very weird not sure what happened. It was fairly clean too. Wouldn’t be my first choice on a place to stay.

Was looking for a quick place to lay my head for the night and found this location online. The room was cozy, the lady at the desk was friendly and the hotel was cheap what more could ya ask for !!!

The rooms were clean. However, the TV didn’t work in the first room so they gave us a second. Had problems with TV in that room as well and when I tried to call the front desk, the phone didn’t work. Impossible to regulate heat/air in room. It read 57 but was very warm. No clocks were set. Table top ones didn’t work, and microwave clock was off. While things looked nice, little things were neglected. One light and USB didn’t work in the first room. TV in adjoining room was very loud. All the small nuisance items, after a long day on the road, made for an unpleasant stay. We wouldn’t stay there again.

The front desk employees were very nice however after checking into my room I discovered the sheets haven’t been changed from the previous guests, as in a full face print of makeup was on the sheets.
Food was in the floor between bed and night stand and the room reeked of weed. They did switch me to a slightly cleaner room, however it was still gross and luckily I had travel Lysol. Their “breakfast” area was sticky and had trash everywhere and not sure what it was they were trying to pass as coffee. To call this place a roach motel would be an insult to roaches.

This was an excellent choice hotel. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They didn't know much about the area, but we're very polite. Loved the location and convenient. The breakfast could have had more meat options, coffee was lousy. Overall great place to stay.

I would totally recommend this hotel the staff is super friendly, beds and pillows very comfortable for a quick overnight stay it was perfect. Pet friendly with a small fee $15 plus tax. Includes free parking and breakfast. A little wear and tear in common areas but not bad. I will be staying here again.

I had to ask for that room to be back to vacuumed because peanuts were left in an area on the floor. The carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced. Large dirty stains and carpet not shampooed and kept clean. I stayed at other Sleep Inns, and this one was fair compared to others excellent cleanliness

I stopped staying at the sleep inn a few years back. The guests and activity in and around the hotel was incredibly sketchy. Rooms were dirty and dark. I decided to give it another chance and this stay was possibly the worst. Food on the floor in my room. While the bedside tables were dusted on top shelf, looked like the bottom shelf had been overlooked for ages. Pretty sure there were cigarette ashes on the toilet seat. So disappointed and I’m pretty easy going!

My room wasn't throughly clean. I didn't notice until i was in the shower, but there were no bath towels in my room. One of the comforters on the queen bed had a spot of blood.

Too many road workers, construction workers just not what I expected. Dog barking, next door, this place is more like Extended Stay or Motel 6. I would look someplace else. Many better places to stay in Aiken..

Room was:
1. Room was very musty and smelled bad.
2. Smoke sector was “paper toweled” and hanging from ceiling.
I dought it worked.
3. None, none of the vending or ice machine worked on floor 2.
Not worth the money if you want a clean smelling room.
I will not be back.

Lot of nice clean hotels in area
It is a little pricy when rooms are booked weeks ahead of time, but once you arrive it's a different rate.
The food is extremely poor
The Front Desk staff is okay.
If you ask for towels or something they will help you.

Get what you pay for. Older with stained carpets. Beds we're fine, clean sheets and towels. Some staff were fine, others not. Breakfast better get to it earlier, an hour and half after start-no coffee, no juice, picked over and no one in any hurry to restock.
