We booked to stay here on a whim March 31st. When we arrived at the hotel it looked nice but when we went up to the room our door was open. We ignored this thinking maybe housekeeping just didn't close the doors. When we pulled out the pull out bed there was blood on the sheets and mattress protector. We went to the front desk. They simply gave us fresh bedding. After that we checked out the room some more. We found our trash hadn't been emptied, our shampoo/bathroom amenities were used, and both main beds had bright red staining in them. It's like our room had been in use until shortly before we got there. When I spoke to the front desk they gave me a total brush off about the biohazard, and then only offered a partial refund for our stay. My kids and I slept on the floor in our room cause we didn't trust that we wouldn't find more blood or who knows what else. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT CLEAN AND ACCOMIDATING HOTELS/STAFF. It's been a fight and half between the site I booked with and the hotel to even get a partial refund. First and only time I'll ever stay at a la Quinta. We stayed in a significantly cheaper hotel for our second night out of town and had a much better experience. Literally stay anywhere else unless you want to sleep in a dirty blood covered room.

Great stay all around! Super friendly staff and clean, good accommodations. Really good option for families staying to see the aquarium. (Like us.) :)

Nice clean rooms, great parking, fun pool. Truly an excellent breakfast, waffles, eggs, fresh fruit, great sausage. Very pet friendly. We will be staying there again if in the area!!

Stained sheets on one bed, orange colored stain on carpet and mold spots in window sill. The staff was friendly and accommodating but room wasn't that great

Room was very spacious for 5 of us. Comfortable beds. Housekeeping service was great, and the breakfast was a good variety. Poured down rain the 3 days we were there, but luckily our room was comfortable, and the pool and hot tub felt great after the rain soaking we.got

Nice staff, clean rooms.

This place was great! Very nice staff, overall super clean. Only downside is the beds (in our room) were quite soft so we woke with a bit of back pain, but that’s all personal preference. We were able to bring our dog as well for a small fee! Would definitely stay here again, even with the soft beds :)

Stuff very nice and helpful nice hot tub pool all amenities really!! Great for dogs stay aswell.

Property under renovation. Paid way too much for a room while hotel is currently being renovated. Room was partially renovated. Unfinished and tacky. Not one word about renovations when checking in. Usually even Expedia will have a warning on the listing but nothing to warn us. Wanted to check out and leave but was too tired to deal with it all. Amenities in room were not in usable condition. Had to ask for shampoo from staff in hallways.

The people below us kept complaining as I have a 2 year old & we stayed in a suit so he would pitter patter between the rooms & it was almost impossible to get him to stop as it’s not easy getting kids to bed out of their element but the staff was friendly about coming to us when they complained. They should have put a reservation of a 2 4 & 6 year old on the bottom floor perhaps

Staff is friendly, breakfast is good and stocked at all times! My kids enjoyed the pool. The area is a bit weird no view of ocean or marina but safe. Would stay here again.

What a pleasant surprise! I would definitely recommend the the deluxe suite with jacuzzi tub and fireplace!

This location, Newport, OR, will NOT accept any cash payment for their rooms. I've stayed at other Wyndham hotels that did, so this was a huge surprise and disappointment. They don't mention this anywhere in their terms/conditions. Be aware! I do give the staff and facility a 5 out of 6. The bed wasn't overly comfortable but sufficed. The carpets in the rooms were pretty filthy. My white socks were super dirty with the little amount of walking around in the room I did. I loved the simple gym and hot tub. Unfortunately, they keep the pool a tad cooler than most pools, so I would give it a 3 out of 6. My stay was in mid December, which could be the reason it was quieter than peak summer season stays. The location was great. Right off of Hwy 101. Breakfast was great, too. Excellent variety!

We have stayed there numerous times in the past. Just our go to. Close to Rogue Brewery.

Good location for aquarium

Very family friendly hotel! Our family enjoyed the pool/hot tub ( clean, warm, nice towels, good hours) and a well-stocked breakfast that met everyone’s needs (cereal, eggs, waffles, bagels, sausage, gravy, biscuits, juices, coffee). Nice family friendly bar/restaurant across the street that was really yummy and reasonably priced. Aquarium is nearby as are beaches. This is a wonderful hotel and we will definitely come back again!

Pool and hot tub were key

The hotel was super clean and the rooms were excellent. The staff were great and polite.
