The staff was very friendly, helped us find attractions and were quick to turn on the fire pit when requested. Great price too!

Room looked like it was out of the 1950’s. Lousy bed, lousy towels, patched up walls. Very run down. Wont stay here afain

Okay hotel with a great location. Nothing exciting about the property or the rooms. But in a great location in pacific grove. Short walk to the coastal trails and golf course.

It was a very nice short getaway very friendly gentleman checked me in 😁 the cottage was set up with everything needed except no plug for bathtub which is very important to me but forgivable Peaceful, quite will definitely be back 😊👍

Booked a cabin hoping for peace and quiet. Got back to my room about 6 to have a punk rock band playing 50 feet away at a very high volume. Management offered no explantaion
Bathroom had a shower and a toilet handle falling off. Cable tv was a fractured picture on the only channel I wanted to watch.
Bed was so so….

Your water pressure is horrible for the shower. There is no heater bent or heat lamp in the bathroom. Too cold.

location was good and I was really excited about it. We had booked a cottage. It was clean, neat with a nice picnic table outside.
BUT many small annoyances that could have been fixed by a handyman in 3 mins. ie bathroom water took a long time to come thru hot (despite 3 notices in the room about water conservation!), sink stopper did not work properly, tub stopper did not work, again, water not consistent when it finally came thru hot. Heater did not seem to be consistent.
All amenities were there as noted incl toaster, fridge etc. Problems were inconvenient but we didnt bother reporting them as they could not be fixed immediately and we did not want to change rooms/motel. But I don't think the room at this point in time meets a 3star rating - more like a 2star. If they had been fixed - it would have been a great stay.

I’ve stayed here many times and loved it. We were put in room #119 and it was AWFUL. Windows missing screens, incredibly loud, linens smelt strongly of bleach, lighting was fluorescente. Extremely disappointed.

Had two rooms, one remodeled one not. Heater in remodeled room was loud and the bed had loud springs. Water pressure was low and heater smelled in the room that had not need remodeled.

Very cute and cozy. Front desk gentleman was very friendly and helpful in recommending a restaurant. The room was a very cute cottage. Very clean and comfortable.

Theo (I’m hoping I remembered his name correctly) was welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for food and coffee in the area. Easy walk to the ocean, lovely walk into downtown Pacific Grove, as well. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Favorite place to stay so far in PG/MRY area. Rooms have been renovated since last stay. Great rooms w kitchens available for business trips so don’t have to eat out every meal. Friendly and helpful staff. Good prices.

Desk staff rude and did not address concerns about lack of parking and construction noise. The units were being remodeled and dust and noise made it difficult to stay there during the day. I won’t be returning.

The front desk staff was great.
The cleaning staff were not attentive (I tipped a cleaning staff person for replacing used towels). A cleaning staff provider left a cart in the middle of the driving path and made no attempt to move it even after tipping and parking our car behind the cart.
The cleaning staff seemed more interested in communicating with the remodeling workers.
As soon as the site is done with remodeling, I am sure it will be better.
I would stay again after the remodeling.

Large room, kitchen Facility with granite countertops.
The heater was noisy we asked for it to be disconnected.
The Curtains needs to be replaced for more privacy and light blackout.
The bathtub need to have nonskid for Safety.

The front desk staff was not too friendly when we arrived, but our cottage was nice, as was the fenced in dog park we discovered right next to the cottage. Nice working fireplace with timer, nice kitchen, though we didn't use it

The room was not like the pictures. The shower was awful. Needs an upgrade for what they charge.

We were not aware that construction would be going on nextdoor to our unit. The construction was very loud and started around 8:30 and lasted until 4 or 5 (hammers, saws, loud talking, and a junk pile right by the unit). We understand that hotels need to upgrade and work on their units, but it was an unpleasant surprise for us.
We selected this property because it’s pet friendly, but nowhere on their site or the Expedia page did we see the fees associated, so that was another surprise.
This hotel only provides housekeeping services upon request. It was clean when we arrived, but quite worn. There is no fan or AC, so our room got pretty stuffy, even with the windows open.
The price was heavily marked up because of the holiday week, so we ended up paying quite a lot of money for a mediocre product.

We rented a deluxe cottage with 2 queen beds for my quiet family of 3. Two of us have pet allergies and I asked multiple times through hotels.com for a pet-free room. No answers. Come time to check in and though the room was clean and smelled strongly of disinfectant, the lounge chair looked so worn that the fake suede was shiny in places. it had clearly been pushed up against the wall by someone (s). There were deep gouges in the paint and drywall. Same near the dining chairs. And the dining table was oversized for the cottage so there was barely space to move around. The top of the fireplace vent looked like someone tried to pry it out. The cottage was neither cozy nor cute and felt a little haphazardly put together and very worn but it kept us dry for 4 nights.

the property was nice,The check in staff was not very hospitable and as a Hospitality Director for 10 years, I take hospitality very seriously, they did not take our concerns to heart. We only stayed there one night and that was my husband I stayed with a friend. there were no chairs in the room which was rather inconvenient even though this was a basic room, .

The rooms we had were new and very clean. Quite and relaxing surrounding...Theodore was very knowleagable and accomodating to our needs....15 mins walk to Ocean drive...many walking trails along the shore....we will visit this place again.

Loud crowd of visitors over the weekend. Don't expect quiet. No fan or working thermometer. Asked front desk about getting a fan to aerate the room plus block outside noise. He stated to open the windows....okay, the noise is only intensified by the windows open. He doesn't get it. I would rate this place a 6 out of 10.

I’ve been staying at this property for over 30 years and we got here a little early at 1 o’clock. The front desk was not so friendly, and even though the room was clean and no one was in it, he would not let us use it till three so we had to sit around for two hours. Of course we travel from out of town in the past because sometimes I don’t get here exactly at three they just let us in if the room was available I like this place, but I don’t think I’m coming back. All the amenities are gone no coffee
Used to have a continental breakfast that’s been discontinued. The place is changed. Bummer.
