We stayed two days, both night were so loud and noisy that people were talking in the hallway and couldn't sleep. On the second day AC didn't work. I found the hair on the toilet on the first day. It was not a pleasant experience.

First, when I reserved on your app. I paid an extra $14 for breakfast for 2. When we arrived at the hotel we found out that they offer complimentary breakfast to all guests. So, I would like my $14 plus tax refunded promptly. The breakfast was also not very good. The jets on the hot tub were also out of order.

Worst experience I've had with a hotel chain in years. Traveling 24 days a month for the past 6 years doing corporate training for the number 3 retailer in America, I've had my share of mishaps by employees, but I've never encountered such disdain, dishonesty & disrespect than I endured at Wingate Chantilly.
At 9:53 pm I contacted to verify that the shuttle would be available for pickup at Dulles airport because their web information says till 10:00. The representative (Mini I think) put down the phone to ask the driver which I thought was unusual because I did not think it was at staff discretion, then returned to say "yes they will be there in 15 minutes" to pick me up. Stated to her that I don't know how long it will take to get from one station away on the train system being my first time utilizing it, but if it takes 20 to 25 minutes will they wait? She said no they will not wait but 5 minutes when arrive. Then I responded "well it may only be 10-15 & I'll rush down there & call as soon as I'm there". She said okay and hung up the phone which was at 9:57.
Called again 6 minutes later 10:03 p.m. stating I had arrived and am waiting on the platform for the shuttle. She said they did not bother to send the guy because figured I would be later than the 20 minutes that was prescribed. I had debated with her for a second why did she state emphatically that the shuttle would be on it's way if she made an arbitrary decision within 6 minutes of our original conversation.

room was loud, mold in shower, hot tub that was not hot, dirty pool and hot tub, heat/a/c unit made weird noises, big comforter and thin sheet on beds - which made it difficult to regulate temp. The open format of the hotel allowed all the noise from the lobby and front desk to be heard on the second floor.
if it weren't for the fact that I got such a good price the rating would be even lower.

Friendly staff, safe location, ample parking. The property seemed run-down though, and in need of a remodel. Stained carpet, chipped and scraped doors, cracks in toilet porcelain. It was clean, it just didn't seem so...

The hotel had nicely updated shared spaces, such as the lobby and dining room. The rooms, themselves, were nice, clean, and functional. The location was perfect for visiting areas of Fairfax and a 30 minute drive from DC. I would stay there again.

the shuttle service does not even start to run till 7am so if you have a early flight plan on taxi or uber also took lots of time to get a hold of anyone to get shuttle to hotel and then waited a hour for pick up. shuttle was dissatisfied

Hot tub did not work. None of the side or back doors worked. Could only could enter through front door. Front desk make worker was on phone the every time i went to front desk to complain. Seemed as if i was bothering him

Our door to our room didnt lock correctly. You could lock it and still be able to open it from the outside. Beds were super small, weve stayed at plenty of hotels without issue but these were unusually small. Bathroom faucet wigggled inside wall and wasnt secure at all. The keycard reader at the back/side entrance didnt work, so that was inconvenient having to lug all our stuff the whole way around building. Pools was nice and decent, until a large family came in with screaming/yelling kids and adults, which made not just us but other guests leave the area because you couldnt even enjoy swimming at that point. And the absolute worst was that at 3am some how some way the fire alarm went off, without any fires. So we got woken up and had to ebdure listening to it for almost 40 minutes. No apologies or anythihg offered to make up for that insane inconvenience. Would honestly recommend you look elsewhere to stay for the night.

Very comfortable beds and pillows. Common areas have seen better days and the airport shuttle only runs until 10 PM. If you don’t have a late night flight this place is a good value.

The very nice hotel agent allowed me to check in a little bit early so I was able to drop my bags and return to the airport to take the train into DC. The hotel was very clean, but there was no water available aside from purchasing. The water spigot from the breakfast area was locked.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times, and the rooms are always clean, modern, and they have a good breakfast. The hotel shuttle isn’t really a thing… only goes 7am-10pm and they advertise that it goes once per hour, but a couple of times now, we’ve been waiting at the airport and then we call, and they say that you have to call for them to come, so I’m not sure it’s ever worked out for us to use it. We’ve just ended up Ubering. The pool seems nice and it’s convenient to park here because they offer parking through SpotHero, so you can stay and then leave your car through SpotHero while you’re on your trip without having to worry about airport parking. Good value for the money!

They had pets listed on their booking portal, but they don’t allow pets. Sink clogged, broken lamp. Elevators smelled like smoke.

The staff is definitely amazing. Love how friendly they are from the desk staff to the house keeping. Only thing that would make it better is if they updated some of the place starting with the elevators. Loved my stay and would absolutely recommend it.

The only thing is that parking is not free for extended parking - it is $10 per day - which is not clear on the website. Otherwise the staff were great to us and accommodations were good.

Arrived to no electricity and rude staff. Waited 2 hrs in the car for the electricity to come on. Once electric was up and running it took a hour to boot up the computers and key cards. Had to wait. Overcharged me by $300.00 and called me today 12/13 and asked for another credit card to charge again. They currently have 3 pending transactions on my cc, all for different amounts.

If I could I would not give this hotel even 1 star. First let start with, the room had a weird smell to it. It wasn't the cleanest either but the tip of the iceberg was the next morning! I stayed at this hotel due to the closeness to the hospital. I had to leave the hotel at 5:30 to make it to my appointment. Woke up at 4:30 to take a shower with special instructions using surgical soap. Only to find I had NO HOT water. Used and bathed in the sink. Went out to tell him that he gave me a room with no hot water. He apologized and said I didn't know. I was very upset. Went back to my room got my bags loaded into the car and got my husband's key to check out. Now around 525. I asked him how he planned to compensate for the inconvenience to me, and offers another room for me to shower after I've already told him that I had a surgery appointment to me. I asked him again how he planned to compensate me and just kept repeating I didn't know the room didn't have hot water. Then he tells me I have to go through Expedia since I booked through them. Connected Expedia, explained the entire situation only for him to deny any refunds to me because he offered me an alternative shower option at checkout. Absolutely ridliculous! Don't waste your money here. On top of the uncleanness, they also don't care how they treat their customers!

Shuttle bus is not available until 10pm, it does it's last pickup at the airport at around 9:30. Informed of this when I landed and was ready to be collected at 9:50. I had tried to find an email address or way of contacting the hotel in the days prior but they have no way of contacting apart from by phone which is not helpful for international travellers. They did not respond to messages sent on hotels.com
Staff member was awful when checking in. Just took my passport and gave me keycards (1 of which didn't work). Didn't give me any information. I had to ask where the rooms were and he just said over there and pointed to a corridor. Extremely unprofessional. Rooms were ok apart from a spotlight outside my window. Even with blinds down, a huge amount of light comes in around the edge. There's other stuff but I think I'll leave it at that. Extremely disappointing stay
