I had a frustrating experience during my recent stay at a hotel. Firstly, the hotel staff was unable to accommodate my request to add my wife's name for check-in, even though she was arriving before me. I found this to be quite inconvenient, and the staff seemed unhelpful and untrained in providing good hospitality service.
Furthermore, the hot water system was unreliable, and I had to deal with fluctuating water temperatures during my stay. Lastly, I was disappointed to find no dishes in the kitchen. This made preparing and enjoying meals in my room challenging, an inconvenience I did not expect.

Room was filthy and I killed several cockroaches while I was there. Floor was sticky and furniture looked like it was all found on the street.

The room desperately needed a good cleaning. It was obvious the carpet hadn't been vacuumed well, the bathroom floor was sticky, splotches of something dark (food?) were on the wall, headboard, wall decor, furniture. The bed had a deep indentation on one side as well. Avoid this place.

This was one of the worst places i stayed at. The the property way dirty. They was pooping underwear in the parking lot. The room had toothpaste all over the bathroom door, and the wall and counter. Then we turned on the lights and there was chocolate or poop on the lights cover. They was food on the kitchen counter and walls. We only were going to sleep for a couple of hours and grabbed the breakfast that they said they had when i called the hotel. So we left to go to the fireworks show. Then we gotroom back to the room at 2 am and the above us was so noisy that we couldn't sleep. Then we get up at 7 am. They is not coffee in room or lobby they was no breakfast stuff. I will never be coming back.

First room they put me in 122 Sticky floor and cockroaches within 5 minutes killed 2. moved to 117 Floor was filthy door lock wouldn't lock Toilet wouldn't flash Room was in ill repair and smelled like mold The floor was buckled look like water damage probably where the mold smell came from. TV remote was wrong so it wouldn't work right took 15 minutes to finally get it to a channel. Complain to front desk nothing they could do seems they still charge me full rate took a $100 deposit which I have to wait to get back And the add insult to injury my car was broken into broke 2 widows and stole my tools. There's nothing like stepping in the shower in the morning and looking at your black outline coming from your wet feet knowing that the floor was that dirty.

Just fine hotel room. Bathrooms are recently updated, bed was fine if you like a firm mattress. Pillows were flat. Stove didn’t work and kitchen was only supplied with dishes on request. The one pot we asked for was in very poor condition, and then the stove didn’t work anyway. Breakfast is a myth. Coffee, tea, cocoa we’re available, and packages oatmeal and muffins. All highly processed junk food and not much of it.
It did what we needed it to do but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The room appears to have had people occupying it.
Both beds had the pillows all displaced and you can see both beds had depression of a person or persons laying on the bed. The tv was on.
We asked for another room.
The new room was dirty under the beds including all corners as if no one cleans the corners. Inside the kitchen cabinets were not wiped having dist, and food crumbs.
There were 4 dead roaches in these cabinets
I couldn't find any live ones so that was a plus.
There was a live roach on the hallway wall.
The elevator floor was dirty.
Basically this place newds a deep cleaning in this room and mostly anywhere i looked.
I do not recommend this Hotel.
The help was very nice and perfessional.

Horrible company. I stayed at one in texas had stuff stolen. Room flooded mold.. and the manager wanted to blame me for the smoke alarm falling off. She never did anything about my Nintendo switch being stolen. Then when i called her out she banned me. Horrible company.

I arrived at 2am and there was nobody at from desk. The security guard said the staff was on lichch break. So I wanted until 230am. I was told my reservation was canceled and there were no more rooms available. The front desk lady didn’t even let my daughter use the restroom. I was glad because the location didn’t look safe. I do have to say the security was very kind and professional. I had to find a hotel at 3am with theee kids in the car. The clerk was not helpful or offered any options.

Dirty on the outside in, ghetto, the entire facility smells and is uncomfortable to even breathe. The rooms are so disgusting I didn’t even feel comfortable setting my things Dow or sitting on the bed.

Stay away!!! This is really not a hotel. It's basically a subsidized building for underprivileged and low income people in the area. The inside is very dirty looks like a homeless shelter and it smells as such. This hotel should place a huge disclaimer on their page and explain this if they want to operate as a described above. We were so shocked that we turned back and asked for a refund and ran away. Luckily the front desk lady was nice enough to give us a refund.

The hotel needs so love. The other guests were running up and down the halls all night. There were many people sitting in their cars to smoke. The area was relatively safe. There is no water pressure. The room was very musty.

Had to ask repeatedly for a blow dryer, there was no waste basket, saw a cockroach, breakfast is minimal. On the other hand, it was inexpensive. While adjacent to a not great neighborhood, it was somewhat isolated and seemed safe on the property.

The room we stayed in was definitely NOT clean. There were bugs, including roaches in several places in the hotel. The floors were not at all clean and had drips all over them throughout the room. There were splashes of drippy food on the front of the fridge and cabinets, stains on the shower curtain, bare footprints on the WALL next to the bed, toenails on the floor, and the whole room was generally just a dirty dirty place. Every single surface of the room seemed dirty, and had visible hair or dust. The insides of drawers were full of hair and dust bunnies.
The curtains did not close and there was weird sticky tape all over the handle. The bathroom was especially dirty, including the toilet and shower (that was particularly slimy on the bottom) The general state was not contained to just the room, the hallways were absolutely filthy and so was the lobby. I saw multiple roached in the hallway and stairs. the elevator floor was grimy. I will not stay here again.

I booked weeks in advance but the night I arrived was 11pm and the front desk lady greet me saying the oversold and there were no rooms available.
After complaining they assigned me a room but said a $500 deposit was required in case there’s damage to the room. I was so tired that agreed.
The general condition of the hotel is terrible, smells like people smells weed in there, there were people shouting and fighting late in the night.
The towels had long hairs on them and looked really old.
To complete the experience I have been writing to the hotel to get the reimbursement from the deposit which the committed to do at checkout but I get no response.

If you want a comfortable bed and a hot shower at any cost, it's a good stay. The staff are quite pleasant and friendly. Emeryville itself is quite nice. But the water pressure is too low, there are cockroaches, and the lobby coffee is terrible.

The first room I was given smelled of urine and was not made up. Asked for a different room which smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Drawers hanging open, sticky floor and no phone in room to call front desk. Asked for a refund and left, did not stay. Horrible experience.

The bed had multiple cockroaches. They were crawling in the sheets and on the headboard. I requested another room and more cockroaches in the bathroom. This place is infested and needs to address this issue.

The floors were dirty, elevator dirty, security stay at front desk playing on the phone, drug selling in the parking lots in cats. There were several abandon vehicles in the parking lot, staff was at the desk cursing, ground had a lot of trash. I felt very unsafe. It was nothing like the pictures. It was like I was sleeping in the crack house.

Turned me away and told me they had no room for me even though they had my reservation on file and I confirmed (at 9 PM) with them I could still check in before arriving at 12 AM. Over the phone they said there was no problem with me coming later than 6 (I was 2x checking because their website says to indicate if you will be later than 6) and at the location they said they saw my reservation but could not honor it because no rooms were ready. I get their reason - cleaning staff shortage - but they should have informed me before I drove 1.5 hours at night to a different city and got left stranded with no booked room. Absolutely infuriating

I’ve never stayed at such a disgusting Extended stay. It smelled like week and drugs in the hallways. Homeless persons occupied the park lot. The elevators didn’t work. The hallway paint looked worn and peeling. The room was so old and out dated. The bill like didn’t seem to be working well. I can’t believe how the are has been run down. The parking lot gate is busted and doesn’t work. There were people handing outside smoking and asking for money.

The shower was extremely slow, the countertops inside the room were broken, there was a constant clicking above my room, the elevators were dirty and one of them was broken, there wasn't breakfast the whole time while I stayed there, the parking lot was absolutely filthy.
One of the trashiest hotel experiences I've ever had.
