Wonderful hotel. We had a great ocean view. Gorgeous, big room. The service was so friendly. We are definitely staying here again next time!🙂

We absolutely loved this little hotel, nothing fancy but very clean, comfortable beds. Great AC. Hot water takes a few minutes to kick in but this does not deter me in any way. The morning coffee service is adorable. The view from the balcony is priceless. Nice clean little pool a d sundeck. Location is excellent you can walk everywhere in town. Wonderful change from big AI resort vacationing. Highly recommend this little place.

The staff was incredible. Ocean view room was fantastic and the price was great. The only downfall, which I'm guessing is common in older Cozumel hotels was the water pressure in the shower was low and it takes about 15 minutes or more of running the water for it to get hot. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much and would gladly return.

This is a fine place for divers because it's close to the pier where you're picked up to go diving. There isn't an elevator though so you have to lug your gear up and down the steps. And if you're looking for a hot shower after a day of diving, forget about it. The rooms are spacious and the staff do a fone job of keeping everything clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a hotel that you just rent if you only want to sleep. Do not expect anything else. the pool was ok but nothing to brag about. I do have to say if you are stay here make sure you get a room with a view, and they did have a small frig. in the room.

Great location, many things within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is very old and it shows, pretty sure the shower head was at least 20 years old.... Also no hot water. It's a decent place to stay if you are looking for clean and cheap..

Great little place right on the main road. Although we didnt have an ocean view room, we liked the place. Our balcony was in the back so less street noise and the balcony was huge. It was a nice touch to get coffee and croissant delivered to our door the next morning.

The shower was a disaster, it shot out into the bathroom. The spigots were impossible yo figure out, us and a few of our traveling companions had cold showers before we figured them out. The grate over the drain wasn't attached so it would float off and then you had to be careful you didn't step there and fall in the drain. The toilet was very slow to flush, I was always afraid it wouldn't. And you can't flush any toilet paper, but that's an island wide issue. The air conditioner blew straight onto the bed. And it ran constantly, no cycling on and off due to the temperature. On or off. Nothing in between.
The staff were very nice, the building was very quiet, and the view is fantastic, our balcony faced the water. It seemed very safe, but that's island wide. There's very little crime there. We never once felt unsafe.

Aaron and the team at Vista Del Mar ate terrific! The place is located perfectly — near everything you want to do—not in the middle of everything yet within very quick walking distance.
The view of the Port/ocean is incredible. The pool is super clean. Aaron gave helpful recommendations for nearby grocery stores. And the housekeeping staff members were happy, always smiling, and always gracious. When I come back to Cozumel in December, I will be staying here for two weeks!

It's all about the money you want to spend, I don't think you can get an ocean view this cheap within walking distance to town elsewhere. Beds were marginal, Room was big and fine, Shower was good, view was amazing as was the walking distance to centro. There is no elevator and limited staff as this is very small hotel, the pool looked adequate but we didn't use it. Coffee was delivered to our room daily as our wake up call. We parked the rental on the street and at a private lot a block away.

Flight was sold out so we booked a one night stay here and it was perfect. The check in was smooth and prompt, same as check out. The staff was super!!! Will come back and stay again.

The staff was great, small hotel but located in the heart of Cozumel. Close to everything beautiful views. Diego was awesome he was the night person on duty, helped us find scooters and sentus to the best taco place. A locals favorite. We will be back.

We were not sure about independent hotels in Cozumel, but we took a chance. Vista del Mar was fantastic!
A convenient way to experience Cozumel. We could quickly walk to all tge great food or taxis are across the street. The 7-11 is next door for grabbing snacks and cervezas.
Hotel is on the main road, so there is street noise, but it didn't keep us awake. The small pool was perfect for cooling off after snorkeling.

The Vista Del Mar is a very basic hotel with a great view if you get the ocean view room. The hotel is located right in the middle of everything. The staff was great and even helped me with a few special requests. There are no chairs in the room so if you want a place to sit and relax it will have to be on the bed or the balcony.

Wonderful, friendly staff. Clean, spacious rooms, and an amazing shower. We had an ocean-view room, and loved watching the people and the boats. Close to everything, convenient. Highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem. We were there for 12 nights. If you are looking for luxury go elsewhere but It was a great deal for the price.The rooms are big but basic. You will have a refrigerator but not microwave. The location is Great, walking distance to everything. The hotel provide you with personal wake up service and coffee. It was very laid back for me. If you are a simply person, then this place is great.

Service and staff are excelllent as always. The room was large, clean and everything worked well. Great wifi service and the beds are comfy. Aircon is strong. The hotel is close to the center of town and an easy walk to get to everything. Delightful stay!!

The hotel located in a perfecr area of Cozumel. Diego is fantastic from the time of check in to the depature he was there to help in any way. Room was clean, large and had an excellent A/C. Continental breakfast was included and delivered to the room at any requested time. I woukd rebook this hotel anytime.

The staff there are wonderful !!! Diego was very helpful and nice, and the manager Coral was the best!! This property is a little bit older and could use some updating, but the location is perfect overlooking the water and the cruise ships and right in the main part of town. Over all a great experience. I will come back to stay again.There is no elevator in the building however, so if you don’t do stairs well this may not be the right place for you.
