As older people, the beds were a bit too high. The corner where the frig and coffee maker were located was very dark, couldn't see the instructions for coffee.

People and service is awesome. Will be coming back.

Excellent location and outstanding hospitality. The front desk manager set the stage for a wonderful visit of the upper peninsula of Michigan. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed 2 nights and were celebrating our anniversary. I had booked a suite in the Cabin Haus and while I would definitely go back to Pine Mountain, I would steer clear of Cabin Haus unless you know everyone renting their and/or it’s a big family gathering. The walls are paper thin, I heard the guy next door burp and could hear his entire conversation (and he didn’t seem to be speaking loudly or yelling). Several teenage girls moved in the 2nd night and were actually very loud talking and loud music (we aren’t that old but left for the weekend to get away from kids, not deal with loud ones! ;) We asked if there was a different room we could move to. The front desk was VERY apologetic and accommodating and were able to switch us to a room in Mountain House which seemed to be quite a bit more soundproof! Cabin Haus would be great if you know everyone or it’s a family get together! But smaller family or couple I would recommend the Lodge itself or the Mountain Haus. Restaurant was delicious! Had lunch one day and breakfast the next morning and we both enjoyed what we ordered. Beautiful location and would love to come back to ski when it snows. Thought about golfing but was cold and windy, the course looked extremely well maintained and would also come back to golf!

Being from the area, I was excited to come back for a visit and try Pine Mountain after its renovations. While the hotel room is attractive and the space is utilized as well as it can be, the beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever been on. For being a resort and promoting recent renovations, I expected quality mattresses. The bathroom was also so small the door couldn't open a little more than half way because it hit the toilet, and private conversations could be heard from rooms because walls are so thin.
I will say the food at the restaurant on site was excellent, especially breakfast, and the hotel offered us a free pizza and free breakfast vouchers for the restaurant, which was unexpected but super appreciated! If the beds were better, I wouldn't hesitate to come back again, but I honestly had a much better sleep experience at the AmericInn in the same town and will probably stay there next time.

The condo was missing the sliding screen door and there were cobwebs in corners & bugs in sliding door track inside the room.

The property is run down and dirty. The description stated daily housekeeping and not once was our room cleaned in the 4 nights we stayed. The restaurant is high priced with a limited menu.

There were things we loved and things not so good. We really liked the condo, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen adequately supplied, we were given two complimentary breakfast tickets, and we had a lovely patio to enjoy the view of the pine and oak woods. The less desireable qualities were a very uncomfortable couch, light bulbs in the bathroom needed replacing, and walls so thin we could hear the people next door who were not speaking loudly, and their barking dog. The good outweighed the negative, and the negative could be fixed by the management with a small investment.

Stayed 2 nights in the lodge + 1 night in the condo. The grounds were nice. Bathroom in lodge was tiny (door did not fully open because was blocked by toilet). Overall was clean except there was sand on the floor of the condo. Location was good.

More than great front office and cleaning staff. Went out of their way to accommodate us. Lots of things to do for adults and kids. Will definitely stay there again next time I am in Iron Mountain.

We found the staff to be professional and friendly. Service in the Famers' restaurant was very good!! the front desk check-in and check-out was easy and fast.

It was clean, staff was nice, room was updated and liked the rustic decor. It was convenient for our plans. It was very very noisy at night and could hear everyone up and down the hallway. We didn’t use any of the amenities such as restaurants or pool but saw kids enjoying the pool area.

It was nice but in need of a remodel. Rooms were tiny. Bathroom was even smaller.

The room has no carpeting. The bathroom door opens only partially and blocks the toilet. This place looks great but is awful!

Not biker friendly. Asked for old towels to wipe dew off our bikes and they didn’t have any. Overall it was a good stop on our trip. Enjoyed the food, patio and live music.

Stayed during the Summer and loved walking around the property, including checking out the base of the ski lift for stargazing. Peggy at the Front Desk went above and beyond and made us feel very welcomed! The room was clean and comfortable.

Showed up they gave me a room, went to the room and room wasnt cleaned from prior guest. Went back down to the front desk. They told me they had no other rooms available and would get it cleaned. After 30 min i asked what was going on. They said they were waiting on someone to come in ahd clean the room. I waited another hour before i got the keys and able to get in. By this time it was 11pm.

AMAZING STAY!!! exceeded our expectations!! Minus 1 A/C not working in the room, but everything from the cleanliness to the staff and the staffs accommodation, was ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS!!.... I absolutely 100% recommend this place!

I decided to splurge and spend the extra money to stay in a Cedar Haus Suite. After we got all situated my wife and I tried to take a nap. During that time we could hear our neighbor doing thing like closing his cabinet doors, pouring something into a bowl, and I'm guessing pouring ice into a cooler. It was clear how thin the walls were and we wanted nothing to do with that. I went to the front desk and explained the situation and asked if there were any spair rooms. The lady was so helpful and got us a 2 bedroom suite at the same rate. I was expecting to get a normal room and be compensated the difference. My and I couldn't believe it.

Nice place to stay, it was a ski jump weekend so some loud guests but nothing too crazy. Front desk was less than helpful with certain things and told us the wrong ski hours but overall it was good.

Staff is very nice. The pool and spa area is clean and organized. The room smells fresh and clean.

This was a great place to stay. Beds were super comfortable and clean. People were very friendly. This place has everything from a restaurant/bar to a ski jump. Nice clean pool and hot tube too.

The location of the property is beautiful during the Winter. If you’re skiing, hiking or snow shoeing it’s perfect. We came for a short stint to see family and enjoyed the restaurant and pool with the kids. Got an hour extended stay, which was just what we needed. The only ‘eh’s’ were the cramped rooms, no microwaves in rooms and the lack of even a mini continental breakfast.
The other ‘eh’ was the room we stayed in was located directly across from the busy elevators. We had a baby and kiddo trying to get a sleep in and it was just way too loud.
Other than that, I would give it a solid 4/5. For staff, views, activities and onsite pool and restaurant.
We were visiting my 99yr old grandma and had an absolute perfect weekend!

Amazing Resort! Right off the snowmobile trail, great food at the restaurant. the front desk staff was awesome! Especially the night front desk woman that was working Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th, we will come back for sure!!

Lovely, friendly, clean, cozy, and comfy. I liked it a lot.

Check in was a breeze. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. There was an extra $9.99 resort fee that we were unaware of. Not sure what that got you but there is no continental breakfast. The only thing we could think of was for the hot tub and pool. We stayed in a chalet. The room was nice but not the best and not worth the extra money. The screen on the sliding glass door was busted, shades were missing, one side of the closed doors was broken off and sitting inside the closet. The furniture has seen some better days. But for a weekend of skiing you probably wouldn't care much. That is not why we visited. Area is very pretty and the restaurant was good.
