Location was good, staff were helpful and friendly. Good choice at breakfast. However the rooms were very basic, very little storage. Felt like you were in a cave, not luxurious. Bathroom was small and the shower had no screen or curtain so when you had a shower the whole room was soaking wet, nothing to mop the water up with, making it Slippery and dangerous. Expensive for what it is

We had a fabulous stay at Kalisti hotel. The hotel is beautiful and even nicer than the photos, the staff are very helpful and attentive. It’s in a great position right around the corner from the bus station which helps you to easily see the island. Breakfast in the morning is very nice and has a wide range of products. The manager made us feel very welcome and was alway present around the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property located in town. Very walkable to restaurants and shopping. Staff very friendly and helpful. Delicious buffet breakfast offered daily. Highly recommend this hotel.

Went island hopping and stayed at 5 different hotels. This was the worst. I would stay in Oia instead ifvi came again. The area surrounding is very busy and dirty. We got to the hotel at 1:30 and they wouldn’t let us check in until 3:30. We had to leave our suitcases and bags in the hallway reception where anyone walking by in the hotel could access them. All the other hotels offered early check-in but they made us wait. We walked around town for 2 hours and returned at 3:25 and asked if we could check in. The girl at the front desk asked us to wait 5 more minutes. We stood in the empty lobby for 5 minutes until a group of about 15 people arrived. They walked up to the front and began checking in and receiving room keys while we continued to stand and wait. I finally went up to the front and told the girl who asked us to wait 5 min (this was about 15 min later) that we’d like to get our key. Our bags were already in our room so I’m not sure why she asked us to wait in the first place. They sent us down to the first floor (room 108) even though our room was supposed to be a “deluxe balcony” room. We were right around the corner from the staff work closet. All night long we heard the staff going up and down the stairsI The room had terrible ventilation and the air conditioner barely worked. The fact that the room was clean was the only saving grace. It was stuffy and literally felt like living in a cave. Every time you leave the hotel you have to leave your room key at the f

I initially liked the service at this property but on my last day, I inadvertently left my hats at the front desk. When I called the hotel to see if my hats could be returned to me at the airport, which was literally 15 minutes away, I was informed there were no drivers available. I just felt like there was absolutely no concern or regard for my property. They didn’t even bother to call or email me to let me know that I left my hats. Will definitely not return to this hotel.

Bartending staff is fantastic around the pool they get an A+.
Regarding noise level in the hotel, the staff required an unrealistic amount of silence after 8 p.m. which is completely unreasonable. The irony of this is that they allowed some individuals to host parties and proceed to scream in the hallways until 4 am.
Housekeeping was very attentive after my air conditioning leaked... but they also don't replace glasswear daily.
Breakfast was adequate.
If you're looking online at the amenities and see the hot tub option, completely disregard that due to the fact that it is a cold tub.
Overall, it's a great location, but they have some details to work on.

We had a very good stay in Kalisti. Room was big with nice sun facing balcony. The things which stand out for us to were: friendly staff, nice location and good breakfast.

Enjoyed a lovely week in Kalisti hotel. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful, organising a few outings for us with no fuss or trouble.
Breakfast was very good, bar service very friendly, pool was lovely and we liked our room a lot, having everything we needed. Only two slightly negative things to say:-
1) The evening we arrived we were put in a different room and moved the next day. We were told it was an upgrade but wasn't really and the second room was much better.
2) on our last day we had a late flight. Again staff were really helpful but I think facilities for perhaps a public shower would be very useful.

I truly enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is conveniently located in Fira. The staff was very friendly and helpful in organizing ways to get around and handling our bookings.

Overwall, our stay at Kallisti was amazing with the exception of water shortage. We didn’t have water in our room in the morning for one day. Also, the “Free” bottle of wine was a already opened bottle refilled with wine lol.

The location was perfect. It was a walking distance from the Acropolis and from Plaka.
A lot of restaurant and cafe very close by.
The rooftop has an amazing view on the acropolis. The pool is on the rooftop and breakfast is served also on the rooftop.
The buffet for breakfast is delicious and you can find any king of food you want ( French pastry, fruits, cheeses, yogurt hand granola etc….)
I would highly recommend this hotel.

My first time in greece, found the hotel last minute, it was nice and very clean, the bathroom was a
cramped in with the toilet. So when you shower the toilet gets wet too, my airconditioner also wasn't cooling. But i was barely in there and the weather at night was cool enough that i didn't remember to complain. It was a nice hotel and not too far off from the center

Very mixed towards this hotel.
Pros:
Staff are amazing, and the pool area is gorgeous. Location is great too, very close to town (maybe 4 mins walk). The breakfast spread was great and changed daily.
Cons: the room was tiny and the bathroom is an open wet bathroom - so everything gets very wet when you shower. The internet was also very spotty and often didnt work, which we thought was pretty unacceptable for a hotel in 2022.

The staff were fantastic and the facilities were wonderful however we bought that for the price (c. Eur 200) the room was quite small with a balcony overlooking the road. We asked to move room and the second was a more spacious room on the ground floor however this did have a small amount of mould it one ceiling corner. The general for and finish of the room left a bit to be desired. Cannot fault the service or pool though. Also not this is not on the caldera edge which we thought may be the case from the photos.

Traveled with our 9 year old daughter and found the grounds to be a home away from home. The staff are exceedingly warm. The location is an oasis within an oasis, pitched off a very short way (2 minutes walking distance) from the paths that lead to the Caldera view and all the main shopping streets and sites of the buzzing town of Fira.

The breakfast was really good and the hotel staff were very nice. The cleaning service was lacking a bit. They didn't replace the cups, mini bar, or soaps from the last guests when we first entered our room. The front desk did replace all of the items when it was brought to their attention. Overall, nice stay and the location is pretty close.

We stayed at Kalisti in early July 2021, as they were just re-opening so it was still very empty of guests. Every staff member we met was very hospitable and helpful in all ways. The pool area is amazing and huge, as well as family friendly. Our room was small but clean and adequate for the limited time we spent in it. Location is good - easy to walk to all the downtown Fira shops and restaurants, near the bus and taxi stops.

The front desk receptionist, Kosta was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a tour of the place and showed us our room. It was our best check-in experience so far. The only downfall is the wifi is slow.

It was terrible, a rip off. The breakfast was horrible, I couldn’t eat anything! The room they gave us was totally different from the one we booked. We were supposed to get a room with 2 king beds and 1 queen sofa bed, a suite with a view. We ended with a room with 1 king bed and a double sofa bed and the view were other beautiful. A total scam for $475/night. Worst experience ever!!!
