Would definitely not recommend. Thought it would be a decent place for a quick night stop on our roadtrip to Anchorage. It was not. It reeked of cigs, which is whatever. But me and my partner woke up to bedbugs in our bed, only found a couple but still. Hard pass for anyone looking.

The heat was turned to 90 in the room and brought out the smells. Had to open the window and keep it open all night to air it out and cool it off. No luggage carts. No elevator. No washcloths or toiletries. The floor in the bathroom was dirty. When we got there there was no parking and the attached bar was very loud. Had to walk through a cloud of marijuana smoke in the parking lot and odors of body odor in the hallway. Would not recommend.

Front desk staff were excellent. Pet friendly. Room was average at best. Bathroom wasn’t clean with leftover soap in tub. Mouse in room as well. I like camping and the outdoors so it was OK but if your fussy I don’t recommend.

For a family of four, the toilet was not flushing upon arrival. Bad downtown environment! Paper thin walls, can literally hear the adult conversation in the next room, the rooms were connected with a locked door. No safe exit on the second floor.

Rooms were ok. Very 70’s. Looking tired and old

It's very reasonably priced, room was clean. Very colourful neighborhood.
And it's warm, important in a Yukon winter

The staff was very friendly and when I had an issue they were on top of it and super awesome.

Location is not bad but very old.
I think it needs to renovate the building.
The staff was kind.

For $80 a night, and pet friendly - you can't go wrong. The room was clean, comfortable. Great location: close to amenities, at the river front with trail, park, and playground for the kids. For these reasons, I don't have any complaints at all.

Very clean, a little bit of noise due to repairs, nothing noticeable.

Window was open and room was frozen when we arrived. Heat did not work. Had to be put in a different room. The shower head was at about 4’8” and 30,000pounds of pressure. Everything (space heater, microwave, fridge and coffee maker were plugged into a power bar that was hanging off the ground. This place will burn down someday. SUPER noisy at night.

Quick and easy check in, front desk staff very friendly. She donated her electric heater for us to use as the heat in our room was not working. An alternate room was offered, but the electric heater worked well. The shower temperature was Luke warm but once we determined this it was late at night. For being below freezing outside, definitely need a working heater and hot water. Very disappointing. Limited amount of parking in the front close to entrance. Staff overall were very friendly and condition of the hotel was as expected (minus the heating issues).

Great location but the quality of the rooms are on the decline.

On the first day of our stay we had a lady with the dog a couple of doors down from us and the dog did not stop barking all night long. We talked to the front staff upon arrival about dog barking and they promised they would do something but nothing was done. I wanted to speak to the manager but that also did not happen. Also they did not clean or offer fresh towels for second day. All in all not good experience.

Not the worst place to stay, haven’t seen any bed bugs yet, at least. But you get what you pay for I guess. Noisy in the halls all night both nights (Wednesday and Thursday nights), room had dirty towels in the bathroom on checkin and toothpaste on the sink faucet. Room still needs some finishing (visible drywall tape and mud)… for $100 anywhere else on the planet I’d expect more, but Whitehorse has a very high opinion of itself so this is what $100/night looks like :/

There was lots of noise coming from the street and also noise the heater and noise from the surrounding rooms. The staff was helpful and friendly.

BED BUGS!! We stayed in 227. Unfortunately one of the beds had bed bugs and my traveling companion was bit extensively. Outside looks rundown.

I may have rated this property better but I got bit by bed bugs when I stayed here, check the beds before staying! Wash itchy for a week and a half afterwards

The staff where helpful and accomodating, heat didnt work in my room but they lent me a space heater. The hotel is in need of major renovations. I read other reviews about bed bugs so when i got in i pulled back my sheets to find no bed bugs but blood stains on my mattress. Needless to say i slept on top of the blankets with my clothes on. Its a very noisy hotel in desperate need of some maintenance.

The building is a little run down but the rooms where tidy and clean. We where directed to park in the parking lot on the property to be able to be viewed by cameras. Expedia said breakfast but the hotel did not provide any.

We were under impressed. There is NO air-conditioning and our room was 87 F during the night. We were traveling with our cat and could not leave the window open because there was no screen. Beds were clean and well-made-up, but when we looked under the bed for the can, my husband discovered empty bottles under the bed that had been there long enough to be covered in dust.
There was a mini fridge, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, and a fan but only one duplex outlet and no power strip so we chose the fridge and the fan at night. In the morning, we plugged in the coffee maker and the microwave.
Staff was friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. We did enjoy our stay, but I just can't rate it higher.

Friendly staffs and very accommodating. Apparently there is no heat available until the end of summer. When we asked about the availability of a portable heater, the front desk receptionist gave us her unit under the desk 😊. Our room has a large 2" gap at the top and bottom of door. It is great for air circulation but terrible for retaining heat especially at night, especially when it is a single digit night.

Loved that it was pet friendly, although cost an extra $30 to have a pet. Not the cleanest place, but fine and in a great location.

Tidy hotel. Room was fairly large. Plenty of parking at the back of the hotel. You'll have to walk around the building to get in, if the sushi restaurant is closed.
Having the restaurant and pub next door was very handy. And maybe a 5-10min walk to other restaurants.
It's a quiet area, but if you're on the river side you easily hear people talking outside.
Our room still has a used soap bar in the shower, and grapes in the fridge. Not a big deal, but questionable on the cleanliness.

Room is so dusty and the table still have sticky jam?

Noisy, very badly sound-insulated, service sluggish at best.

There was bedbug. We spent almost sleepless night and had to book another hotel. But the staff did not care at all. They did not apologize. They were only interested to charge one day's rent in full, and nothing else.
