Location excellent, staff friendly and attentive, breakfast superb. The room was very small, especially the bathroom which also had a slight smell coming from the sink, but we got a good nights sleep.

Very nice hotel just outside the town. Our room on the ground floor was quite small but with everything you would need. The bathroom was tiny and did require some tlc around the shower area. We had breakfast there which was excellent. Good fresh food and very well cooked. Has parking but the spaces were a little challenging! Would recommend.

Friendly helpful staff, close to town and close to the Racecourse. Had a very nice stay, room a bit small for 2 people but it was clean.

Nice location to the Wrexam FC stadium. The Lemon Tree restaurant was amazing! We decided to pay for the Valentine's Day tasting menu and it was really top notch food! Unfortunately, we just had one minor hitch on our trip when the lock on the door broke and we were not able to get out of our room the next morning. There were no telephones in the room, so we used our mobile phones to contact the hotel website number to report our predicament. We were told that they would contact the manager who was apparently not available on site. This could have been an extreme fire hazard at worst and a big inconvenience at best. When no one came to let us out after 15 minutes or so (and we had reservations downstairs for breakfast), my husband was able to use a spoon to jar the lock lose so that we could get out of the room. We went downstairs and reported the incidence at the restaurant because the manager had still not made it there. The restaurant staff felt very badly as they were not even aware that we were stuck in our room upstairs and gave us a complimentary breakfast, which was very nice. It all worked out in the end but I would say this restaurant/hotel needs to have staff on hand and phones in the room so that someone could be reached in such a situation in a timely manner.

Was conveniently located close to everything. Its a very quite area, the staff were great. Highly recommend staying here. The restaurant was very good as well.

The Lemon Tree was a great spot for our stop for a football match in Wrexham. The room was dated and not in the best shape, but we the service was great and it was quiet. We also had the BEST meals of our trip in the restaurant. Absolutely incredible cuisine. Thank you!

A beautiful property! Situated close to the reason we were there - WREXHAM AFC! Wonderful drink options in the bar, fantastic breakfast, amazing oat cappuccino (priorities), and a beautiful, clean little room for the night. We had a wonderful stay and will most likely stay again when we come back for another match.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lemon Tree! This is a beautiful building with a great atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the staff were very accommodating. We definitely recommend this place.

The food in the restaurant was very good, but you had tonorder at least two courses which cost £32, which for the quality was reasonable. The bedroom was cold, with windows that did not shut properly and let cold air and noise in from the busy road. Sour faced staff served you and i was not asked if my stay was ok. Would i stay again, No.

Wonderful friendliness when checking in. Only issue was the slow service for dinner when we were trying to get to Wrexham FC match, but it was a misunderstanding ultimately, and it was made up with a free breakfast the next day. Lovely hotel.

Great service from start to finish, and would highly recommend. On the first night also dined in the Restaurant and both had an amazing meal and dessert and made the weekend really great.

Room was clean and welcoming. A staff person tidied up the room daily and restocked the tea, cream, etc and they even took the time to stage some of my daughter’s stuffed animals which was cute. Walls were a little thin but other travellers were fairly quiet. microwave was convenient.Would strongly recommend this inn to others.

We were in room10, the floor boards all creaked the kitchen fan was very noisy in the on suite bathroom, so we didn’t have much sleep.
It was our fourth stay at the hotel and we are very disappointed with the room.

Very difficult to find dog friendly hotels and was pleased to find this gem. Staff were welcoming and provide amazing service. Comfortable rooms. Fantastic food. Highly recommended.

Beautiful building, sticks out like a sore thumb because it's so pretty. The room was great. The restaurant is huge and was very busy. And the locals are the nicest people I've ever met in my life.

The hotel and room is comfortable for a short stay. Space is limited but the shower room was spacious and well appointed.
What made the stay great is down to the staff. All were friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was very good. The chef and her staff deserve praise. The restaurant is unsurprisingly popular with local people.

Lovely little hotel. Definitely the type I like to stay in. The climate control is all manual, so it took a bit to get that settled. But the bed was nice, the room was clean. The staff was great. I'll be coming back.

Very convenient and good value for my business trip. A few minutes walk from Wrexham General station and a welcoming reception from the team. Capped off with a great evening meal before a comfortable night's sleep. Will certainly stay again.

The Lemon Tree was a great stay. The employees were fantastic! Especially the gentleman that helped us after hours. The location is super convenient to the high street market and the Racecourse. Definitely would stay again. Cheers!

We stayed for one Saturday night. The rooms are very poorly sound proofed and woke to the noise from the adjacent room at 6.30am who were clearly arguing. This went on until we went down for breakfast. The service in the breakfast room was really poor, kept waiting for 15 minutes whilst the waitress stood chatting with our coffee tray going cold. We had to stand up and ask for our tray. Poor quality filter coffee. Breakfast was decent to be fair. The Service let’s the place down. The parking is also really awkward and insufficient for a hotel if this size. Paid £120 but felt really disappointed with what we got for the money.

The bedrooms are cosy, clean and the property is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the town centre. The staff were happy, courteous and polite and made us feel welcome. My only negative comment will be to Wrexham local council in that they desperately need to fund the town for regeneration as it has so much potential

This is a very nice hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a small fridge, microwave, and tea and coffee making in the rooms. It is in easy walking distance of downtown. I recommend this place.

Food was very good both in the evening and the breakfast that really had set us up for the day. Room was a little noise due to road noise and single glazing but it’s an Victorian building and I’m a light sleeper.
