Upon arriving, checking in was 5 minutes by an experienced, friendly gentleman.We open the door to our beach front roomand you immediately see the ocean. Room was immaculate, a microwave, refrigerator,cups, soap towels and an explanation paper on working the television.Also, a terrace with two chairs and a small table. The views were unbelievable, we even saw dolphins daily. The beds were great.Also, you have access to the beach from the second floor with a hose to wash the sand off. I forgot to mention the indoor heated pool and the fantastic breakfasts we enjoyed at the on-site resturant. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back.

Great views and very quiet. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Furniture in living room wasn’t very comfortable.

Room was clean. Close to everything we wanted. Staff was very friendly. Pillows were awful in the room.

The room was much larger than expected with an ocean view for the price. Linens/bedding were clean but carpets were heavily stained and halls, stairways & elevator could all use a refresh.

Great location and solid breakfast options in restaurant. Right on the beach and plenty of room to relax. Furnishings need update, especially sleep sofa. Beach chairs and umbrellas need to be rented, disappointing. Nice kitchen supplies. Good access to many local restaurants and shops.

Property was undergoing renovations. At check in was told that all guests with reservations had been called to inform about renovations in case they wanted to cancel. I checked my phone but had not received a call or voice mail from the property. Had booked 2 oceanfront rooms for 2 nights for us and another couple to attend wedding at property. Second day, the heat was not working so I reported it at 1:30 when we went down for wedding. Returned to room that evening to find that it had not been checked. That night we had no heat (temp in the 30's), were moved to another room which had no heat either. Were then transferred to a basic room which had heat. The other couple travelling with us had no heat in their room either. Refund was given by Expedia for both rooms, but not sure if it was fair because there was no explanation as to how it was calculated. Otherwise property was older but clean, in a good location. Staff seemed overworked. Perhaps our experience would have been different if renovations were not ongoing.

It was a 6 star then it came to check in and check out time where lost one star each. So it’s a four overall.

We pre-booked and paid in advance. The desk clerk was almost rude. The room was nice, oceanfront! The bed was hard for us. The room was very clean and roomy. Everything worked with a great heat system. I was at OBX for a surgical procedure so wanted a room with room service for breakfast before our trip home. No room service, short staffed. We went to the Bistro, and it was great. We had a very nice and friendly waitress and great food.

It was ok for a beach resort definitely could use an upgrade

I stay at this hotel when I Birdwatch in the winter in the Outer Banks. When I book with Expedia, I get a $20 coupon that I use for their excellent breakfast. Their Wi-Fi is very fast. They have Turner classic movies. The place is always clean and the staff is very accommodating and kind.

Pool was warm, but pool room was freezing & no hot-tub, so did not use the pool. Hideabed couch was uncomfortable for sitting, cushions worn out, needed extra pillows to sit comfortably. Other chair was not the greatest either. Bed sheets were the roughest linen I have experienced in many years of travel. View was awesome, but we would not recommend this hotel...

Our room wasn’t clean. There was a beer can near the large sliding glass door to the balcony and the cover of the pull out couch had sand and other debris on it.

Wonderful time with family. Beautiful views. Food was very good. Staff customer service was excellent.

Construction was ongoing. So loud that we couldn't carry on a conversation in the room. Should have put us in rooms farther away from the construction work.

Front desk manager was especially helpful by checking me in during what he said was a shift change. He could have left and I’m sure I would have been much longer getting checked in. Very helpful.

Excellent location, facing the ocean and with a balcony where one can sit and watch sunrise!

The refrigerator leaked water, the bed was wonderful, the other linens were clean & abundant, the windows needed washed, and the check in rep was wonderful.

We'll, it's a good thing I brought my own cleaning supplies; Lysol and Clorox Wipes.

Enjoyed our stay, beautiful beach, great staff. We were off season and many things in the area were closed however that was part of our plan. Would definetly return.

Good: Friendly staff, very clean room, perfect location, easy parking, warm pool in the winter. No surprises with fees, also they gave us a $20 coupon for the restaurant, which in the summer has great outdoor seating. Eh: Room has not been updated in awhile, so no USB ports, and everything is just older. Bed is okay in comfort.

My stay was for relaxation. The hotel was perfect super clean and excellent location to many activities.

Elevator out of service! Had to use stairs to get to and from our room on 4th floor. No advance notice before checking in that elevator was out of service. Our room has roaches. Roaches on kitchen counters, cabinets and drawers. Roaches in bathrooms and bedroom. Informed the front desk, the person at the desk said she would let someone know. NO APOLOGY! I WOULD NOT RECCOMENT THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE!!! RUN AWAY!!!

Check in staff could have been friendlier. Rooms could use a good deep cleaning and the elevator was sketchy. The views, food at the restaurant, and restaurant staff made up for the rest. If we make it back to the OBX we’ll definitely enjoy another steak.

Dirty room. Couldnt sleep because it smelled like smoke. Kept window open and didnt help. It reeked of cigarrettes and we were in a non smoking area. Front desk didnt care. Dont recommend. Go to shutters or somewhere else.

For the price, the stay was excellent. It was off-season, so the place seemed empty. The Room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

The door on the balcony didn't lock. It was easily accessible to anyone. When i told the front desk about it, he mansplained to me how to lock a door. It WAS broken. Smoking on balconies. Pillows rock hard. Old, run down. Restaurant not enjoyable for breakfast. No room service even though room service fliers in room.
