Very close to beach access. The room was surface clean, but when I looked behind the sofa bed, there was several items of trash behind the furniture. I’m glad that they are pet friendly however, if I have to pay $100 for my pet to stay I expect my room to be extremely clean. And when did hotels get away from having housekeeping every day to only have it upon request, Covid is over with. Also, this is no longer a comfort inn hotel, they claim to still be under choice hotels but the current name is sand and surf. The pool was nice however access to the pool was a little odd. Breakfast was average.

Amazing stay and one block from the beach and 1.5 miles from historic downtown. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was good! Will definitely stay here again.

The Staff was amazing! Rooms were not freshly cleaned, we had a mechanical issue with our bathroom, and the staff resolved our issue and moved us. The pool is small and not very appealing to children, but thankfully the beach is very close. Breakfast was good.

Hotel has a great location, was clean, and comfortable. However, there were a couple issues that made the stay less than desired. First was the water pressure of the shower. It was the worst I’ve ever seen. I normally am like a 5-8 minute shower person as I’m a man. However, the pressure was so bad it took me that long just to get the soap out my hair. My wife had an awful time getting the shampoo out of her hair. The in room safe didn’t work as well. This was a big inconvenience for me as I am an officer and I carry everywhere and it was tough not being able to lock my valuables as well as my weapon when needed. The staff was friendly, check in was a breeze as well as check out.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Service is great. It appears a remodel/update has begun. It definitely is showing some age, but beds and rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the location was terrific. We would stay here again.

Bed was comfortable, shower was good. Nice to have the fridge and microwave but didn’t use them. Could easily hear conversations from neighboring rooms, thank goodness they weren’t too loud. Safe didn’t work, but I didn’t bother telling the front desk. Lots of electrical outlets for chargers. Annoying that they allowed a truck with trailer to block the back exit. Again, I should’ve said something but didn’t bother. Crazy how all the hotels in the area quadruple their prices during the car show weekend.

Room was medium sized but fairly comfortable with a couch and desk. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were extremely soft and not very supportive. The "snack" area is lacking, having only a few small things to eat, such as Cheese Nips, Gatorade, etc. Breakfast is standard hotel fare... scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage patties, coffee, etc. Not bad but nothing to write home about. This is a decent, but "budget friendly" hotel... you get what you pay for. Its not the best in the world, but its comfortable and well located for a few days get-away. Its WAY better than any motel.

Everything was as one would expect it should be. Nothing fancy, but a nice clean room with a comfortable bed and a decent breakfast. The staff was friendly.

The rooms were clean and recently painted but holes were not covered prior to painting. The doors were old and would get stuck when trying to open.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic! 30 seconds to the beach - several restaurants/bars within a few minutes walk - 2 miles from downtown which is also walkable with sidewalks the whole way. The beds are super comfy! To be picky, it could have been a bit cleaner but it was just fine for us. Breakfast was simple but very good - the coffee was excellent. All of the staff that we dealt with were extremely nice and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the Jacksonville area.

Stay was excellent. We’ve stayed here before and never been disappointed. The check in is always so easy and we had an oceanview from our room. The Inn is remodeling and it looks great. We will be back.

The hotel never said they were remodeling, otherwise I wouldn't have booked. The decaf coffee in the machine never worked, the pancake machine was not working for 2 days. I had to listen to pounding (construction) and workers all over. Hotel staff was nice

I was informed at check in that room service would only be provided after 3 days. If I needed any towels or other amenities it was up to me. Facility was being remodeled. Inconvenient parking and bad communication. Breakfast was marginal with few choices.

Beds were great. Facility was a little dated (carpet in elevator badly stained). Refrigerator was not cooling -warm. Door lock was problematic - rarely worked with less than 5 tries. Closet door came out of track first time opening it.
Breakfast was very good. It was quiet, located near beach, and state park. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Kayla at the desk is always so friendly and competent. Love working with her. Brenda that keeps the breakfast going is the best. Not only getting delicious food out , but also making sure the place is 100% clean. Brenda works hard with a smile. Needless to say we will return.

From the time we booked our stay we were welcomed with open arms!! My 2 sisters and I stayed two nights. We drove from Texas to attend our stepfather's funeral. We arrived late at night and were greeted as if we had been there many times before. The front desk staff was wonderful. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay and plan to stay there again the next time we are on the island.

My husband and i especially enjoyed the luxurious, quality bedding and pillows. So comfy, we slept for hours and hours!
The staff were awesome! I have to give a special shout out to Mrs. Brenda, the kind lady who made the breakfast buffet! She really does an amazing job at cooking the different foods, and the presentation is wonderful. She keeps it fully stocked and clean. Best hotel breakfast we've ever had!
The front desk staff were also amazing and helpful!
My family visits Amelia Island several times a year. We will definitely be back to stay at this Comfort Inn!

Staff is attentive and boy do they ever scrub those hallways! Rooms are very tired. Carpets stained although clean. Beds are comfy but pull out couch is only comfortable for a smal child. Couch stained. Bathrooms clean but old and leaky. TV was acting up. Breakfast is typical. One of the kitchen staff keeps an eye on you. A little weird. Only one pool towel in the bin for 5 days. Good location. A couple of good restaurants nearby. The main beach is across a small street and parking lot. Right next to Fort Clinch. Downtown is a 5 minute drive.

We really liked the suite we had and the location was perfect. We didn’t really like our window looking right out to the pool because it was noisy at times, but that’s just where our room was—
