This place is perfectly located for beach, golf, or Fernandina. Super quiet and nicely appointed. It is friendly priced, which is reflected in being a bit dated though you can tell its being updated currently. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help.

Great location and great restaurant next to it. It was clean and breakfast was great. Our issue was with the room. That gave us a room right next to the elevator and it kept us up all night with the dinging and people talking. It was awful. When I said something at the desk the next morning the woman said I always wondered how those rooms were, terrible is how they are. She said a manager would be in touch but that has yet to happen. If you go make sure you are not in room 314. She also said there wasn’t much she could do as we booked through Expedia.

Parlor Room was clean and nice, but very very small, only 1 chair in room only end tables, no table on deck or in room, no printed information on area, what to do or how to access password protected internet, Breakfast very good and hot

The rooms are small, but quaint. Well equipped bathroom. My only complaint is that there were small rocks on the carpeting, fingernails on the nightstand and hair on the bathroom floor. Therefore, it had not been adequately cleaned.

The staff was not at all friendly. I called that morning to see if we could get in early, they said 3:00. When we got there with our dog, they said the room wasn’t ready and to try at 3:30. Then, when I checked with the front desk, they said no it wouldn’t be ready until 4. Disappointing.

Great place stay with a nice breakfast and only 5 minutes from downtown.

The good: Location right by the beach. The breakfast was top of the line for a motel type breakfast. The bad: You aren't really on the beach, there is a two story bar between the hotel and the beach. It actually blocked most of my view in the "Oceanfront suite" I paid more for. See the attached picture of my view, and I was on the top floor. The lower floor would just see the building. When I arrived for checkin I had to wait about 5 minutes for the clerk to show up. She had been off fixing a light bulb somewhere. She was very apologetic and nice. Once I went to our floor, there was a huge stain in the hallway carpet that may wife thought looked like someone had been murdered there. In our room, the toilet seat was falling off the toilet so I fixed it. There was no shampoo dispenser, just conditioner. I was able to get some shampoo from the front desk who said that happens sometimes. The room itself was okay except that the deadbolt didn't engage, so the only security when in the room was the cheap flipper lock common in motels. The beach is great, and there is a decent bar / restaurant across the street. I wouldn't say it was worth what I paid, but it is okay if it's the only option in the area.

The place to stay at Fernandina Island—great location; must eat at Sandbar restaurant next to hotel; wonderful spacious suite with balcony and side view of beach; friendly and easy check-in, free parking, complimentary chocolate cookies, complimentary breakfast.

Very convent to the beach and two great restaurants. Breakfast was average nothing great ran out of everything so had to wait about 20-30mins to refill food. Had an issue with our TV not working so the front desk clerk called an old co-worker of hers that used to work there but had been laid off to come fix our TV. Which to us was totally wrong because he didn’t get paid for the hour and half that he spent trying to fix our TV and had he not been able to fix it we were told there was no other room we could be moved to. Bed was super old felt like our feet was higher then our heads. The toiletries where not filled so we had to raid the housekeepers cart out in the hallway for body soap and shampoo

Hotel was clean and in good shape. Room was very small but adequate for us. Breakfast was very good and had a decent variety. The only bad thing i can say is that the bed was pretty hard. Very good restaurant next door too

The desk staff were outstanding! However, the business center computer was constantly rebooting. It would be nice to be able to wirelessly print from my phone to the printer there though. Inexpensive printer at home can do that. Otherwise it was a great day and a wonderful place to visit.

This hotel is awesome in terms of location and service. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are comfortable enough for a family of 4. Great view! The walk-in shower was great. Breakfast was included and it is ok. There is enough variety though. We were surprised by this hotel. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Amelia Island. This hotel is highly recommended!

The air conditioning in my room did not work. They sent a young man one morning and he just looked at it and left

Cute seaside hotel; very quaint! They make the best of small rooms by making separate bed- and living rooms. And of course the corner room with a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean didn't hurt!

We very much enjoyed our stay! The roof area is a great place to enjoy views and the easy/quick access to the beach is amazing!

Parking is confusing. Front desk staff could care less about your needs. Completely impersonable. I could have stayed at a budget motel and received better treatment. Rooms are small and dismal. Felt like I was in a jail cell. Will NEVER be back
