It was way better than expected. The food was great, the resort amenities were outstanding and my housekeeper Desiree was the best!

Everything is outside so constantly sweating. Food is mediocre. Best part is adults only and the room itself was nice and cool. Hecklers on the beach made me avoid going. Lots of pool options which is nice. Probably won’t stay again because other food on the island is better. Lots of Younger adults. A couple of fights at the pool…

Good experience the dam plumbing was screwy but there customer service made it worth the stay

I would never stay here again. They switched my room 3 times because of cleanliness. The food wasn’t bad. They were that accommodating and I wouldn’t stay at that location again.

The employees were the best! From entertainers, bartenders, housekeeping, safe deposit crew, maintenance, front desk, etc...The employees were amazing, Delano, Mosquito, Candy, Latoyna, Horace, and on & on!!! Thank You for a great vacation.

It’s a beautiful property with a full sized free bar in your room. Food buffet was great with American and Caribean food available. Four pools on site including a bar pool, walking access to the beach. Excursions were available, my party got a good deal from the hotel. The rum punch on site was not strong enough and the entertainment on site is catered toward an older crowd. There is more entertainment available off site by taxi but I was told the taxi drivers overcharge so bargain with them or talk to the hotel staff about rates. The bar on the first floor makes good drinks. There is a sports bar on the second floor and the drinks weren’t as strong. Overall 4 out 5 stars

Lively, beach gorgeous, plenty of beach chairs with shade

I was very surprised by how much I liked the resort. The check in process went smoothly and the staff were all friendly and professional. The whole experience was positive. The food quality and availability was more than enough and was very good. We dined in the main dining area, as well as the Pepe Grill for lunches. The food was really good. It was also great to see both Jamaican dishes as well as other options. There was always an abundance of foods to select and sample. The drinks were good, but taste watered down as far as the alcohol. Although there did not seem to be a limit on how much guests could have. The staff were all nice, professional, and helpful. The entertainment staff did a good job with including guests and making each event fun. The rooms were clean and modern. There were opportunities to explore the area outside of the resort if guests did not purchase activities. We felt safe and comfortable on the property.

Riu Montego Bay was amazing. The staff was nice, the property was clean, and the food was good.

We had a great time! Good food. Wish the liquor selection was a little better. Housekeeping didn’t fill everything with every cleaning but you can order items you need through the app and they are good about that. Overall would come back again!

We loved our stay at RIU Montego Bay. The staff was amazing, the food was delicious and the view was breathtaking. Events and activities were fun and going everyday. We had a blast. We will definitely be using them again. Side note: Liquid soap and bar soap is provided, Shampoo and conditioner is NOT so make sure to pack some.

This is a great resort! The room, food, drinks, activities where excellent!!

It’s a party place, like “spring break” kind of party. So, if you’re looking for that type of vacation, come here. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, DO NOT COME HERE. They do not serve you drinks at the beach. I’m fact there are no beach tables at the beach to sit a drink down. They don’t serve you at the pool area. You have to go to the bar to gets drinks. They don’t serve you drinks at the shows either. The beach water is filled with seaweed. So, you can’t really enjoy the sea. However there are several large pools you can get into. There’s no room service and you’re not allowed to bring food to you’re room. This is for the best since you’re surrounded by young party people and there is already vomit splashes everywhere the next morning. YUP! It’s like that. You are very close to the airport which is nice as far as getting back and forth from there…BUT the planes are constantly flying over you while you’re trying NOT to think about home on your vacation. Overall this place is for young adults looking to party. It does not cater to the older adults looking to sit back, unwind and get a catered to.

Wow! We had SO much fun at this property!! Definitely going back. Great time for everyone of all ages. And i love how many pools they had! The one with the bar was always super fun but if you want a relaxing calm crowd, you can head on over to the 4 other pools they have! Beach is also super clean with plentyyyy of chairs as well!

Pros: Close to the airport Cons: rooms had mildew smell, 1st room I checked in was so bad had to request to be moved to another room. New room had a water leak which attracted little nets. The.rooms werent cleaned properly, 1st room the headboard to the bed had stains, and the second room bathroom door had stains and a urine stain on the toilet. Food was the same in the buffet for B,L,&D daily. The oriental restaurant was buffet style, and the steakhouse woudlnt allow extra order pf food. The beach isnt big and is man made facing the Sandals resort. Pool and deck wasnt cleaned properly, woke up to previous nights spills and cups still in the pool area, and slime and debris (straws, band aid, and a CUP) was found in the pool one morning upon opening at 10am. I would not recommend or return to this location

Everything was amazing.

The hotel is conveniently located. Some of the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming but a lot of them were dry and seemed annoyed to have to serve the guests. The room had not been thoroughly done when we got it, missing the pillowcases. The beach is cozy the entertainment was good the food was fine and abundant but the good restaurants fill quickly, drinks flow and the guests get loud on the hallways late. Security was helpful there. I suggest to leave a quiet section and ask if guests prefer rooms there to avoid that.

Close to the airport( 10 min) . Very clean, friendly staff , 4 different restaurant options to eat from, 4 good size clean pools. Rooms are very clean with good views. Swim up bar In the pool is amazing. Would definitely stay again !
