I checked in early Saturday afternoon, Saturday March 9th for a two night stay while on business travel. I have stayed at other hotels in the area but selected the Cambria Hotel Raleigh - Durham Airport on Travelocity for the advertised amenities, including hot breakfast and an indoor pool/hot tub.I did find my room and bed to be clean, but there wasn't anything else to be happy about. Upon arrival i discovered that the pool and hot tub was closed until further notice. Then i discovered that the shower in my room didn't work very well, it was a weak waterfall at best. On Sunday morning I arrived plenty early to find the weakest hotel breakfast that i have ever experienced. There was a bagel slicer but no bagels, the only bread choice was white bread. There was cheap tastless baconm, some fake eggs, and sweeet potatoes that were not cooked very well. i could see through the coffee and the orange juice dispenser was broken. After an afternoon out i came back to find my room key didn't work, I had to have it reset at the front desk. While i was there i asked for a few extra coffee pods for the room, and was handed decaf pods, it took them a bit to find any regular coffee pods. On Monday it was more of the same, weak waterfall shower, terrible breakfast, coffee i could see through, and once again had to have my card reset to gain entry to my room. I understand when traveling that there is always some small inconveneince to be expected, but this was too many.

Like airport shuttle. Didn’t like the vending or lack of food options on site

Very accommodating and comfortable. Will stay again when the need arises.

Paid for hotel with pool and no pool no discounts

Pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of staff, easy free parking, exceptionally clean and well designed room, and free breakfast was great

Pool, hot tub, bar/lounge all closed. Phones in rooms don't work. Room was not very clean. I had to request to be moved to another room. They stopped restocking breakfast over an hour before the end time. This was a miserable stay!!

Four of us stayed at this Cambria on 2/17-19 and it was less than ideal. Staff was friendly in check in and appearance was like the pictured. Get to the room and WOW! Fan doesn't work in bathroom, wall is stained bright pink and worn, room was dusty. Beds were good! There was only one mirror in the room, making it hard for 4 women to get ready. Was missing the fridge. Smelled like pot one night. One night we woke to the smell of an electrical burn smell. Couldn't find it. Breakfast wasn't great and not much of a buffet. Was excited for the hot tub and that was closed. Talked with the person at front desk went over concerns and it's like he was humoring us by just listening. Was Not impressed. I am unsure how it had a 4 star review at this point. At this point we were looking at booking another Cambria for wedding party but totally not now. If I were them I would be embarrassed to have people stay there. Could be a ncie place if they got their act together.

Room was comfortable and location good. They probably need ro fumigate as I killed 1 roaches in my room.

I liked the property. My room was great but I had to leave a day early and they did not give me any of my money back. In my books thats stealing. i hope they send me a revised bill for my three day stay instead of billing for 4 days

Quick overnight trip to Durham and this hotel was super convenient to the airport and highway with nice clean rooms

The hotel is starting to show it's age. Our bathroom door looked like someone punched it. The shear curtain was fraid and falling apart. Breakfast wasn't horrible but not really good. Maybe have a waffle maker to make your own waffles so that they will be hot. Waffles were in a steamer tray and were soggy. Good location. Beds were not uncomfortable but a little too soft. The sofa was uncomfortable. It's time for some updates.

Enjoyed the King Suite. Very spacious. However, I would like to have had access to all amenites (bar, pool, etc) as they were being worked on for maintenance. Despite being by the airport, I really did not hear any planes flying over while I was asleep. First time staying at Cambria!

Convenient parking and shuttle

power outage on the morning we were supposed to be going to a funeral. not even the exit signs were lit up which is against code. when asked about it the staff said weather even though it was barely raining so they lied, clearly. the breakfast was inedible, crusty pancakes, slimey sausage, chemical cereal and yogurt. the bar is closed bc they lost their liquor license, pool and hot tub closed for "maintenance" which is a lie. when waiting downstairs for our other guest to find her way downstairs in the dark, we overheard a man at the desk saying how cold his shower was and again, the front desk said it was the weather. everything about this hotel given to some kids by mommy and daddy is just awful, stay away and just pay the extra money and stay somewhere else, not worth it.

All the vending machines were empty even the snack/soda float up front was bare. Was told it hadn’t been serviced in months. Shuttle was useless had 3 large families all going to airport at same time with one driver in small vehicle 2 families had to make other arrangements to get to airport on time.Poorp planning on hotels part. Would not stay here again if I needed to be somewhere on time.

The hotel and front staff was good. The cleaning staff came in the room earlier.

The hotel lists bar and restaurant. Neither exist. As i was without transportation. It proved inconvenient. Poor job with hotels com and hotel.

This Cambria Suites has changed hands and is not at the same level as my prior experience. There is now no restaurant or bar in the lobby. There were unexpected signs of disrepair in the room. Old and rusted towel rack in bathroom. Ripped, tilted and dirty lamp shades. Excessive rust and dirt on the bedside lamp. The TV in the living room area did not have all the channels working. The bed was a little on the hard side. The window was very dirty / cloudy. I would stay here again but wouldn't spend much over $100 a night.

Microwave was rusted and what seemed 20 years old. Mattress had what looked like old blood stains which I saw as fitted sheet came up. Rusted fixtures on the wall. Air conditioning made a weird sound starting at 1:30am and finally stopped at 4:45am. Mattress very old and lumpy. There was a couple body hair thick in tub.

Pool and hot tub are shut down. I assume it’s been like that for awhile. Yes, next to the airport so you will hear airplanes, but very little insulation in the walls. My heater didn’t work great, and my toilet wouldn’t stop running.

It was my first time in North Carolina. The staff were friendly and helpful.I enjoyed the breakfast options. I will recommend it to other people

Iocation to Airport with free shuttle and breakfast is a definite plus.

I've always wanted to stay at a Cambria hotel and finally had the option to. Was impressed with the layout of the King suite which had a lot of space. Only things that I didn't like was the mold in the shower, dry rotted lamp shades, and pretty dusty overall. However the bed was comfortable, and the room was accomdating for our needs for one night.

Stay started on a negative note where my reservation was cancelled because of a no show but my flight was arriving only the next day. The manager worked with me and hotels.com customer support and was able to refund the amount. Luckily they had a room available for that day so created a new reservation. So eventually towards the end of the trip it turned into a positive one. The rooms themselves were nice and comfortable. Breakfast needs improvement as there is no service available and every time had to go and get the front desk person for help. They do not refill items regularly.

The walls were paper thin and I could hear the crying child in the next room all night long. the lampshades were all cracked and broken. The office chair at the desk was incredibly worn out. But, the bathroom looked new'ish, it was clean, the coffee machine worked and the people were nice. It's just an old building and it needs some work.
