I made a significant mistake in booking this resort, so I encourage others to carefully read the negative reviews before considering the positive ones. It's clear the management team does not know how to run a business effectively or understand the power of word-of-mouth marketing.
Upon check-in, the staff informed us that breakfast was not included, despite the reservation clearly indicating two breakfasts were part of the booking. The next morning, they begrudgingly provided a "continental breakfast," but it was far from the standard one would expect. The breakfast consisted of a single piece of toast with a small portion of marmalade and butter, a plate of tasteless, cut fruit, a watery glass of orange juice, and coffee. This was all served in an area infested with flies, providing an unappetizing dining experience.
The rude and condescending behavior of the reception manager, Edwardo, only compounded the poor customer service. It's clear the photographs on the website were digitally enhanced, as the actual resort was dusty and most rooms were situated on arid, barren land, far from the lush greenery depicted online.
Feeling dissatisfied with the subpar "continental breakfast," we opted to dine at nearby fine dining establishments for our morning meals, which cost more but allowed us to maintain our dignity. The car parking area was simply sand, which left our vehicle covered in dust.

Good location, rooms are spacious, we lost water in our rooms for a few hours, and one of our rooms water temperature was poor. Service at the restaurant was below average. Paid to have breakfast included, and the waiters often made us feel uncomfortable, calling it a “free meal” when in reality it was an up charge to have breakfast included with our stay. Multiple times told “that’s not included with your free meal”.

Service is good. Restaurant experience very very good. Places nice but..........why did they install white ( "cold" light) bulbs in all rooms and public areas? They make people look not to alive....room looks depressing. Great option ....but change all bulbs!

I liked it! I stayed here through the hurricane and felt safe. The staff was so kind and attentive. I will say...it's a little out of the way, but an Uber into town is not too expensive. You just wont have other restaurants around. I recommend going to Fresko for groceries and getting the king room with the kitchennette. Special thanks to the front desk because they kept me sane while I waited out the storm. :)

The property is really nice, clean, secured, plenty of parking but over the weekend it gets very crowdy. If you like to play golf it is the perfect place, pool is small for the size of the property , but again, good location and safe.

propertry was excellent. Locater signs difficult to locate. Room excelelnt. Inner court yard perfect.But very little in saying to the guest its a golf resort. I live in a golf resort Omni Resort in La Costa California

The place was amazing! The only recommendation will be to update the utensils in the kitchen. It was clean, the a/c was cold. The pool area was very nice and clean. 💯 Recommended

I love this hotel , I’ve been coming here for over 10 years , the staff it’s friendly and housekeeping did an excellent job , I was a little disappointed about the food though, but the desserts were delicious

We’ve been coming here for 20 years. Always a wonderful experience. We love being a bit inland with no vendors etc passing through the property. Quiet and family friendly resort.

The service was poorer this year than in past years. Getting ice and towels was more difficult than previously. Some of the staff acted like we were inconveniencing them by asking for common amenities or minimal help. We have been going to this property for about 10 years now and were a little disappointed this year.

The pool towels were old and ratty . Several days they had none! No ice machine. Had to get ice and water at the bar and they gave you a dirty look every time !! It’s 81 and hot we needed to hydrate. Invest in an ice machine and water for guests!!! Pool chairs were broken or so worn and saggy. Paint chips in the pool by the swim up bar. Pool side tables were always dirty. Place is falling apart .

What a beautiful place! Bed was incredibly comfortable. Google maps will not get you there. Get off the main road and onto the service road. This resort to to really improve it’s signage and directions on the website. Calling the resort was no help either. Also, could not run the a/c because every time I did dirt and some dead bugs would blow onto the bed right where I would lay my head. You have to 6’ tall to use the microwave! It’s way high on top of the fridge! (But we are having the same issue at another resort, so is this a “Mexican” thing?). Very expensive restaurant for Mexico but delicious food and outstanding service!

Overall the hotel was a little less than good, the restaurant food is not the greatest and is expensive, so I only dine in once. The shower was hard to open and the towels were old. I was disappointed that the whirlpool was not working because was in repair and they didn't have a date when it will work, so during my stayed there wasn't working. The pools were frizzing cold, so I couldn't use them not even once! The staff was very nice and welcoming and the housekeeping was great! It was nice to have a stove and a fridge. It you have problems with stairs make sure you get a room downstairs, I had to request a change of room because the stairs were difficult as I have a problem with one of my knees. The hotel is about 7 minutes to the Marina if you take an Uber or a Taxi, if you want to walk or explore around the area there is nothing around the area to go for a walk or explore.

The room photos and my actual room did not look similar. I was charged for what looked like hotel branded complimentary water and the pool area is less attractive in person than in the photos.

Our reservation said it had 1 king bed and 2 twin beds. Upon arrival we found out the the “two twin beds” was actually the sofa which doesn’t even turn into a sofa bed. They also advertise kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and there was no fridge on the room just the hole where it’s suppose to go. It was a huge disappointment and the hotel staff are aware of this false publicity and continue to book rooms this way. Awful experience i don’t recommend this hotel at all. There are so many other options with better accommodations and staff.

Beautiful grounds. Decent location not too far from main town. Quiet and safe spot with good food if you have the patience to wait on it. Male server we had was great, but the female behind exterior bar was beyond horrible. She would play on her phone vs making drinks or taking orders.

We were upgraded to the presidential suite- don’t know why? But it was fantastic. Golf course was in good shape and reasonably priced.

The room had an authentic feel with the decor. I did not like the bed at all because it was extremely firm and I’m not used to that. Another problem I had was with my phone service inside the room. Calls would drop and I wasn’t able to send texts which was frustrating.
