Comfortable.
Checkout 10am on a Sunday. Old clunky style room, kettle cable not quite long enough to reach the plug socket from the shelf on which it sat so had to go on the floor to boil.

Central, clean, nice owner. The room had a lot of natural light and looked pretty newly renovated.
Sound travels a little bit, shower pressure was not great but ok.

There was immediate availability, for a late afternoon, early evening booking.
Compared to the other accommodation used over the last week in the west of Scotland, the quality of the room caused me to think it was over priced.
Then again it is all part of the price fixing which I experienced in West Scotland.
None of the prices were indicative of the location or aspect of the rooms.

A beautiful hotel, staff could not have been more helpful. Great location, lovely breakfast, comfortable bed very clean. Close to hotels for great meals, walking distance to everything.
Absolutely no complaints at all. Very highly recommended.

At the hotel I was told that the sofa bed was not safe to sleep on.
When booking I paid an extra £5 for an "Exceptional breakfast". However I still had to pay the full £10 for each breakfast at the hotel.

We got a really warm welcome and friendly courtesy all through our stay. the breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed our visit all round. Thank you !
Sadly, we both found the mattresses a bit tired and perhaps they could be replaced when funds permit permit.

The Arrandale Hotel is in a really great location, close to everything in Ayr but without being so close that it's noisy.
There's plenty of parking outside and the exterior of the building is welcoming.
We were greeted by Linda when we arrived who was really friendly and personable while talking us through our rooms etc. We didn't use the lounge area but did pass through it and it was lovely and cosy! The sofas looked very comfy and there were board games and books around which I love.
Our room was 'Islay' and it was HUGE!! It was lovely and clean with comfy beds, a kettle and things and a TV. I loved the wallpaper with Brighton Pier and the little beach huts on it. The bathroom was small and functional although the shower had a wee bit of a mind of its own with regard to temperature.
We didn't have the breakfast, we did intend to but the bed was so comfy we ended up oversleeping! Overall we had a really lovely stay.

Location was excellent for town centre. With plenty of parking, albeit meter parking.
Breakfast not included in booking.com price and had to be paid on arrival.

Room was very clean. Staff very friendly made to feel very welcome. Location was quiet good for getting to sleep. Otherwise lovely stay, I would use this hotel again. Excellent value. Thank you.

Only comment was the bed was a wee bit too soft had difficulty sleeping. Didn't have breakfast so unable to comment sorry.
