Beautiful character property with outlook onto colourful, landscaped gardens. Breakfast was superb, and the staff were very attentive and helpful.

Its a small hotel with courteous well.traned staff who provide excellent service. Also has a very nice terrace serving afternoon tea.

Would be perfect if there was evening meals

I was visiting the Macclesfield area for business, it was a lovely find, clean tidy, stunningly decorated.

Really beautiful property. Immaculately clean in all area. Lovely gardens well tended. Helpful friendly staff. Shame there's no option to have dinner but there are plenty of places to eat in Congleton.

Unfortunately it's difficult to give a true rating of the overall property as we didn't see much of it. There was a wedding at the hotel which we were only informed of within an hour of our arrival. It wasn't the fact that there was a wedding that was the issue, the issue was that this meant we were unable use the bar to get any refreshments or sit outside in the gardens on what was a really lovely day. If we had have been told this a couple of weeks prior, we could have then made our own decision whether to change to a different hotel but obviously with such little notice this was not possible. Surely it is the hotel's responsibility to ensure all guests have a comfortable stay?! Such a shame as the location was excellent with only a ten minute walk into the town centre which was a relief given the circumstances. We won't be staying again.

Friendly staff beautiful garden very comfortable bed stylish bedroom and we'll cooked breakfast. What more could you want.

Everything was good, but the hotel information states bar open daily until 11pm. When we stayed the bar was shut at 9.30pm!

This property is absolutely stunning. Staff couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. Room was small but spotless. Would definitely recommend 10/10

Friendly hotel in an easy location to find. The staff were friendly and helpful. The furniture was boutique style which was not to my taste. The bed was comfy though so that was good.

Wonderful hosts, lovely breakfast, beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. Can’t fault it. I’ll be back.

What a great little hotel! I’ve stayed here a few times, and always enjoyed it. The staff are lovely, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is great. Definitely I’ll go back!

Clean and friendly staff

Attractively designed hotel which was clean and not too pricey. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing which wasn't as good as we would have liked was the bathroom which was chilly and had a shower which was very underpowered. To be fair, the weather during our stay was very cold and when we mentioned the shower pressure problem to the staff they said they would look into it.

Standard of everything was extremely high.

The hotel is immaculate, very quaint and the owner and staff were very hospitable.

Great little hotel with very friendly staff and a great breakfast. No fussy buffets or crowded breakfast room, an allotted table with your room number and a lovely varied full English. Room was "cosy", but that's what I ordered. Every effort was made to make sure I was ok. very happy.

I travel all over the UK and have stopped at other hotels in the area multiple times. This was my first visit to this particular hotel. The customer service and attention to detail was outstanding. I will be returning when I am in the area again. The breakfast was also outstanding.

Such a beautiful home with phenomenal service! A sublime breakfast and beautiful gardens on the property. Everything was PERFECT!!!
