Great location for a stop off when travelling from Cornwall back to Yorkshire.
Pet friendly which suits us with our little dog.
The hotel is pretty dated, in need of a refurb, stains on the apholstry & on the bathroom floor (which was actually sticky!) The reception staff was very welcoming & the parking was not an issue.

Very helpful reception staff and excellent value for money. Lovely and welcoming to our dog too. Not the most comfortable bed and a few minor maintenance issues but not surprising considering the price

Really nice clean and comfortable room, staff very pleasant and helpful, great price would definitely stay again

A very nice stay, with excellent polite staff, and many nice extras like a bookshelf of books in the foyer for guests to borrow.
Motorway services about 20 seconds walk away with a wide choice of eating options and a WH Smiths. The view from my room was of open countryside, and it was nice and quiet - whats not to love!?

WiFi & tv very intermittent & around the whole area seemed to have mobile signal & 4g yet couldn’t make no calls or use my data other than that all was great

It was conveniently located, spotlessly clean, and exactly what I needed.
The check in staff were polite and courteous.

Room very dated and shabby but exceptionally clean.

We had a great over night stay, the room had everything we needed. We took our dog and there is a proper safe walking area outside beyond the cars to walk him. Plenty of food & Drink next door in the complex.
Great place for a convenient place to stop while visiting local attractions

Thankfully the bed sheets were clean but as for the rest of the room the standards were very low. Somebody’s else’s McDonald’s box in the bin, cobwebs and mould. Shouldn’t expect much from a motorway services. Next time I would choose to pay that little bit more and stay somewhere else. You get what you pay for!

Check in was easy, and staff were pleasant and helpful.
Room was a generous size and clean.
Bed was very comfortable
Dogs are welcome, which is an added bonus.

Awful smell on the first floor landing of the property as you walked up the stairs on arrival. Luckily it had gone by the morning. Beds could be a little more comfortable

Very friendly, informative welcome and check in.
Amazing hot and powerful shower.
The bathrooms are a little old and scruffy however very quiet rooms and comfortable bed.

Exactly what you would expect for a motorway service station hotel. Bathroom is tight and dated, same for the bedroom itself, but can't complain really. I had to stay here last minute due to fatigue on a long journey, the front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating.

I had asked for an eary access room which we did get,the room was clean and reaso ably pleasent.
The bed were very high and difficult to get on to,im of average height and couldn't touch the floor when sitting. The mattress was very hard which didn't help sleep my daughter felt the same.

helpful staff even at 11.30 pm.

The hotel was okay apart from a nasty smell in the room. But I only slept for about 2 hours as was woken up by drunk young people who kept on knocking on doors, shouting and showed no consideration to other guests who tried to sleep. This happened from 1 o clock till past 4am. So I will never sleep in one of these hotels again. The whole idea is to sleep over to be rested for the long drive the next day. I was exhausted and tired and a danger to myself and other road users. Never again.

OK for one night stopover but not suitable for longer stays. Accessible room not suitable for people with disabilities as not enough grab rails in bathroom. Walk in shower room needed. Whole place needs updating and shower head replacing. One of the beds was missing a castor and was too high for short people with disabilities. Very noisy with comings and goings so lucky if you get a full night's sleep. Reception was hardly open for queries. Dog friendly though with water bowls and dog treats and a good rate. Bed although high and broken had very good mattress. Tea/Coffee facilities adequate. Good system for parking as car park gets very busy although linen van caused mayhem when trying to manoeuvre through the parked cars. Accessible on northbound M5 only, so could do with an access road over the motorway for Southbound guests who have to travel back up the motorway to the previous junction and double back if they want to carry on south.

The hotel was to have free internet. When I went to use it, you had to get on using Twitter or Facebook. I do not use either one. So your other choice was a form, which claimed it could get information on what you were using, etc. I asked at the desk for help. He said you had to use that. This is not free internet.
We were given a room that was not very clean and for a handicapped individual. There was a string hanging down in the middle of the headboard. My husband thought it was a light switch, as we had just stayed in a place where this was the case. He pulled it - soon there was a knock at the door and we were told the room was for handicap and this was if help was needed. Would have been nice to have been told this when we checked in.
Was very disappointed in this hotel.

It was somewhere to sleep after a long journey. Looks a bit tired. Only one plug socket with 2 sockets but one looked melted and couldnt be used. Bed settee looked very used. Tea, coffee, sugar, longlife milk. Overall i thought it was overpriced.

Very handy for our visit to the steam rally and show and the price is right for what we needed, plenty off space in the room and bathroom. On the negative side looking a bit tired outside, broken tissue dispenser & poor position of loo roll holder in bathroom, overall good value for money and will stay again.

Our stay was very nice, I think the receptionist should relieve a bonus, she put up with so much on the 9th June from customers that were in line before me, she handled it all so well, very professional and calm. I dont know the receptionists name but you are lucky to have her working for you

It took an hour just to check in. There was a huge queue.
I then had to pay for dogs on top of the room charge which was 50 more than I originally thought it would be.
The enamel was missing in quite a large part of the bath making it impossible to have a bath. Outside the hotel was trollies of dirty laundry with it all hanging out everywhere

Really nice spacious room and super comfy bed. Greeted by friendly staff and we were able to park right outside. Everything was easy, clean, and very pleasant. Excellent price. Highly recommend this chain as we previously had an excellent experience at Days Inn Winchester too

Days Inn are great for us as we often travel with dogs and they are well set up to allow to take the dogs.
Beds are nice and comfy, which is always a good thing when breaking up a long journey.
Only down side was the bathroom was a little “tired” and not in great condition, that said the over-bath shower was actually really good, temperature good and with a good pressure.
No on-site vending machine bit of a disappointment but the services is right next door so not the e d of the world.

Helpful staff despite being very busy with many quests booking in.
