Floors in bathroom had been cleaned in many days. Dead bugs, hair, rocks, brown smirred stuff on the floor. Toilet had hair on it. Hadn’t been vacuumed. No coffee pot in the room.

Hotel is in rough shape. Looked better in pictures. Checked in and when I got to my room, it was still torn apart. This was at 4:00 PM. I had to go to front desk and get a different room.

Got there and one of the beds was broken. Son cut his foot pretty badly. Then got moved to a room we shouldnt have been in. So one else walked into our room. Then got downgraded to standard room. Not happy at all.

Didn’t get the room we had payed for.. service was slow and room had to be rushed clean. So it wasn’t clean. Hair left on shower walls. Will not be back.

Outside door key wouldn’t work. Door wouldn’t shut without pushing it hard. Staff wasn’t super helpful with the problem.

This hotel was filthy. Hair everywhere, dirty plastic utensils on the floor, ripped carpeting, dirty tile in the bathroom. Overall filthy. We picked this hotel for the hot tub and exterior room entrance. Hot tub didn't work and they didn't tell us. Let busses park outside the rooms and plug into the exterior room outlet. Busses started at 5am blowing diesel in the poorly sealed room waking us up. Called the front desk to discuss everything and she sat there not saying a word. I asked if she was going to say anything and her response was "I don't know what you want me to say". Horrible horrible customer service went right along with a horrible hotel. Stay anywhere else!

Don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but wish I’d skipped this one. Room cleanliness was subpar, family unable to swim due to hot tub being cold and pool sketchy. Not the worst experience but far from the best.

I have stayed here many times and never had any complaints, but this time the room was not very clean and needs to be upgraded and have some improvements. I found a prehistoric French fry next to the night stand filth and crud behind the refrigerator and television stand. The curtain was torn and the bathtub is needing to be replaced. I don't think I will be booking a stay here again.

Unfortunately the number of dogs in the hotel and unattended by owners the place started sounding like a kennel.

The bed was amazingly comfortable. We stayed in the suite, so the jetted tub was a really nice treat. The room was clean and comfortable.

Everything was great! But I think that ALL motels should have recliners available for people that need one to sleep. People have medical issues etc that can not sleep in a bed.

The rooms were extremely dirty. Unattended dog in next room barked continuously and management did NOTHING to rectify the situation. Extremely understaffed!

We choose the Kelly Inn and Suites every year when we travel through to Minnesota. Being pet friendly and the hotel location is why it is the perfect place for us to stay.

After arriving our room heater didn’t work, and after staying for one night and talking to the front desk it still didn’t work.
We got moved to another room which the heater only worked part time. I assume the heat element was about to go out on that unit also.
The hot tub does not work, after talking to the front desk they said they’d have a repair order placed. The next night they said it was fixed, and this ended up being untrue.
The building is needing some updating and repairs.

I've stayed at the Kelly over a number of years. It's a good property, but aging and showing it. The rooms were clean; breakfast as expected, staff very friendly and helpful. No problems.

Fine, great location. Stayed here a couple years ago and we’re much more impressed. Warmer welcome, lots of folks staying, nicer/cleaner room (not dirty, just dated, run down). Where are all the customers? We did get a first floor room, though, and were very happy with easy access door to the outside.

Good location for an overnight stay. Unlike what Expedia says there is plenty of FREE PARKING on the property. The TV in our room did not work. They offered a change of room but it was one night so we declined. Very good breakfast in the morning. Would stay there again on our way to Custer State park.

Beautiful hotel. Rustic decor in the lobby even flows into the rooms. Our room had a newer mattress and bedding and was very comfortable.

The first room we were assigned had dirt in the tub and sink. Went to a second, which had the same issue. The clerk thought it was due to plumbing issues they had the previous day. Well, we were given a third room which came with an awful musty smell and once again, the tub was dirty. I tried to flush it out with water, but it did not clear. That meant the tub itself had not been cleaned adequately. Did not use it because it's a sure-fire way to get toe nail fungus.

Really nice & comfy, though front desk was rather slow coming arournd. This town was packed this weekend & this place handled it well. Lots of hungry people for breakfast & the cook kept it going! Thank You!

Hotel has a lot of things that need to be fixed. Tub was not clean. Room oversold as to what it was. Sofa bed was falling apart. Wall in bathroom falling apart. Pool was so cold the kids couldn't enjoy it. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Very small area so it gets crowded fast.

Check in clerk had an attitude. We had to ask a lot of questions to get info on how to get to our room, when breakfast was. He acted annoyed that we asked. The rooms open to the outside AND the hallway and outside is unlit, so difficult to see room number to park outside close to room. Room smelled like dirty socks, almost made me sick. It had old, brown carpet and old wrinkled bedspread. Morning staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety.
