Such a cute place. Loved being able to do a wine tasting then pick up dinner and have a picnic among the vines

This place is amazing. If it wasn’t on the other side of the world from where I live, I’d be planning my next visit. The cottages were gorgeous and well equipped. The setting was superb. It was dead of winter during our visit so very quiet. We did enjoy the hot tub and the stars…. Breakfast was good and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and happy. Oh, and great wine too! Wish we’d had more time to taste more wine and explore all there is to do in this area. The biking was fantastic though. Thank you, Kinross for a memorable stay!

Love the little wood cottage vibe very much, the size of the cottage is good and they have everything you need. Sunset time strolling around the vineyard and pond is superb too.

Lovely relaxing spot. Stayed 5 nights, the staff were incredible and the wine abd food were delicious. Will stay here again.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. We had a terrible plumbing issue with sewerage spilling from the toilet into the shower one morning. However it was dealt with quickly and we were given a beautiful bottle of wine to compensate. Luckily we could use our friends bathroom next door as they couldnt move us as it was full. Housekeeping is a little slack and inconsistent, sugar was not replaced our entire 4 day stay and sometimes other things were missed such as no kitchen cloth/tea towel and chipped plates. We would stay again, if it wasnt for those little things would have made it a perfect 10/10

Kinross Cottages was lovely. The setting is great. Lovely ducks to feed at the pond and lovely walks around the property. It is easy to get to Queenstown and Cromwell from here. The cottage was gorgeous and very peaceful

Lovely spacious cottage, great welcome and beautiful surroundings. However, there were a few things amiss which we drew their attention to and received a verbal apology from someone for their usual housekeeping standards not being met. We had expected an email follow up which hasn’t occurred in the week since we stayed.

Kinross was amazing. Great location to explore wineries. Very beautiful location, cute cottages! Highly recommend! We even left something behind and they contacted us right away. Recommend doing the complimentary wine tasting.

What a marvelous place to stay outside of a busy Queenstown in the summer. Huge comfortable bed , super clean, tons of hot water and a 5 and walk to an excellent breakfast, wine tasting and dinner. Couldn’t have asked for a better lace to kick off our tour of New Zealand

Kinross Cottages are part of the Kinross Winery in Gibbston. So, while it is 25 minutes drive from Queenstown, the stay there was fabulous and we did not regret choosing the hotel as our base for the visit in Queenstown. We were offered tasting of a variety of local wines with wonderful explanations and recount of their origins. The breakfast is delicious and caters to a wide variety of tastes (except for the lack of vegetables - but that is endemic of New Zealand as a whole). The kitchen in the cottage offers a great opportunity to cook your own dinner if you tire of eating out. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom - relaxing.

Excellent food, fantastic staff, great location, wonderful rooms, wish we had booked more days!

An excellent standard of accommodation. We also enjoyed the wine tasting, evening meal and breakfast.

All was really great! Although we were greeted warmly we were not given any welcome info that included our nod about restaurant opening times (missed out on dinner the first night) complimentary breakfast nor any info about the facilities available to us i.e hot tub. Otherwise great accommodation and friendly staff

Absolutely brilliant place to stay. Better than any hotels we’ve booked in Qtwn before and service was top notch. On site bistro served exceptional food and inclusion of breakfast, hot tub and wine tasting with our room really made the weekend for us. We will 100% stay again soon.

During our two week trip in South Island NZ, we stayed in 9 places, me and my wife both agree that this one is the best: the location is perfect - away from the the noisy Queenstown but not too far; the room is ample and the facilities are great; the winery scenes are beautiful.

We really loved this property and the room was very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend others to stay here. If you stay, make sure you go outside late at night - the stars are amazing.
A few points:
1) Be aware that you have to pay extra for the hot tub.
2) I think the booking system of the hot tub could be improved. One staff member said we could book the hot tub, but another staff member said it was all ready booked by other guests.
3) Be aware there are rather a lot of midges. There is nothing the hotel can do about this, but you may want to be prepared.

The property is in a lovely setting about 20 mins from Queenstown. Most of the staff were very nice however one member was rather abrupt and rude.

We stayed 8 nights and used it as a base to ski for 4 days and sightsee the other days.
It was such a relaxing location and coming home at the end of the day we had the option of staying in and heating up our own dinner in the kitchenette, eating in the onsite bistro, having a woodfired pizza at the Gibbston tavern next door or taking a 15minute drive to the cute town of Arrowtown.
We indulged in wine tasting by the outside fire, and used the hot tub which was awesome too.
Plenty of wineries close by to visit too with tours you can do or the hop on hop off bus (we just drove ourselves)
The staff were super helpful and friendly and we’ll definitely come back.

I had an amazing experience at kinross cottage! They have everything from dinner, wine tasting, cellar door, bike hires, cute cottage, and outdoor hot tub. It is a cute property, well-maintained, with a vineyard growing right in front of it. It's also super close to a bunch of wineries. The staff were so friendly and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

Would recommend to others and would stay again.
