Fine stay. Shower was good, towels plush. But carpet was dirty and view was horrible. Good location.

It was clean enough, not overally clean. There was dust on the lights and you can see where the walls had damage that had been repaired. The room was small. The cough smelled like an animal peed on it. I also didnt see where it says they charge you $25 dollars a day to park. Breakfast started at 7, we had to leave by 6:30 so we didnt get the breakfast. We couldnt even look as we were told its not ready.

The bar was closed because the bartender called off work. The one elevator was broken and the other one was very slow causing people to wait on multiple floors. Also, $24 to park is absolutely ridiculous, it’s not a Steeler game. The shower was terrible, couldn’t even rinse the soap off.

Our room had carpet stains and a cloying air freshener that caused a raging headache. When we asked to move they said they were overbooked and had no other rooms and to turn in the ac to help with smell. It helped for a few minutes but since it’s winter we couldn’t leave it on for long. Waking in the middle of the night the air freshener smell was replaced with mold smells. I suppose I’ll be sick by the end of the day today due to my severe mold allergies. So disappointing.

My spouse and I attended a meeting held in the area and stayed overnight. The hotel's location was convenient, allowing us to enjoy meals and coffee nearby. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory considering the price. We particularly liked the abundance of tables and sofas in the lobby. However, the WiFi connection in the lobby was not great.

Hotel did not like the fact that we booked through hotels.com. Was an hour and air and huge hassle to get a room. Then got the wrong room we already pre paid for through hotels.com had to go back to front desk and explain we got the wrong room. Was a little bit of a hassle but turned out to be a great room. Hotel was nice , staff was friendly but everyone seemed upset and un welcoming because we booked through hotels.com

Amazing!!! The rooms were clean and quiet. The bed was amazingly comfortable, so comfortable that I want to get one for myself. We had a great evening with friends in the lounge area. Would stay here again.

Well my stay.... place was nice BUT make sure you realize a few things. First it's $200 a night that you will get back if you don't ruin the room which I didn't not see anywhere when booking or when I paid ahead of time. Second I would of never chose here if I would of known they don't offer free parking. You have to pay to park which is ridiculous. Also they tried to book me under someone else assuming I just had a husband waiting in the car even though my license and name change cars were in their hand. Pool was warm and breakfast was alright. But I won't be going back ever again

We stayed two nights. On arrival there were 3 dirty glasses in our room, which we washed and used. There were no coffee cups, and no bathroom cups. Our room was not cleaned during our stay. Prior stays at this hotel things were better, even during covid.

The experience was great, clean and some staff was very friendly. One male staff in the night shift was not helpful and not friendly nor hospitable when asked about a pharmacy or drug store in the area he wasn't very helpful he said there was nothing. Other than that great experience with the hotel and other staff.

It is a very nice hotel. Great location and close to a lot of businesses and attractions. The only issue I have is the $20 per day charge for parking.

Overall the stay was good. The room has an odd smell. Maybe has been smoked in? Hard to determine. Pool was great, nice and warm. Beds were ok, slept good but nothing fancy…

It is a convenient location for the Pitt graduation and then the downtown Christmas Market. Free parking added to the cost efficient room charge. The staff was extremely helpful.

Perfect hotel when visiting CMU students. The room was nice and spacious, the staff was so wonderful and accommodating and it is walking distance to many cool places. We loved our stay!

This was a great location for our recent visit to Pitt. Walkable neighborhood with some good later night food choices nearby.

Excellent facilities, swimming pool, gym, workspaces, good complimentary breakfast, parking. Staff, without exception, were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean, with fridge and microwave in the room. The hotel also has a wide selection of drinks, food and items like toothpaste, laundry powder, etc for purchase at reasonable prices, just alongside reception. Would definitely recommend.

Second night, fire alarm sounded briefly around 10 or 11 pm. Turned out to be false alarm. Around 9 am the day of check out briefly lost water due to broken pipe, was fixed in less than 30 mins.

The room at the Hyatt House was huge! I appreciated the kitchen and living room, even if I didn't use them much. The decor was nice, and the shower was lovely.
My reservation came with a free hot breakfast and they had a nice assortment of eggs, sausage, pancakes and oatmeal as well as yogurt and fruit.
It was about a 25 min walk to CMU where I was visiting my son through a lovely neighborhood.

Lack of bathroom amenities, cleaning staff did not provide ice bucket, laundry bag for our arrival. Also room too hot and thermostat not user friendly. When all problems were brought to attention of desk staff they were rectified.
