We stayed at this hotel based on its proximity to an event we attended at Union Stage. The hotel is really amazing. We didn't have to open a door for ourselves the whole time we were there! Check in was fast and the rooms are extremely comfortable; great beds, pillows, and shower. The rooftop offers amazing views! Stay here!

Room and amenities were nice.
Service at the bar was average at best. Bartenders were a little on the snob/rude/short side
The bell hops were less than average. 2-3 of them standing out front. I had to open the door 4x myself on a 3-day trip. Service in the restaurant for breakfast was HORRIBLE.
5 min for first coffee/water. 10 minutes to order. 40 minutes for food.

This was my 1st time staying at hotel on The Wharf and I was glad I picked the Intercontinental. From the valet parking to the easy friendly quick check in to check out, it was wonderful. This weekend was St, Patty's Day weekend which meant a lot of people for the festival and still this hotel was great . Comfortable beds, a great view and the lobby smells amazing . I will certainly be back soon.

Overall, I was not impressed with this hotel. Service was average. I had their breakfast and the food quality was mediocre; coffee was burnt and bitter. The waiter almost broke the coffee mug on my hand, also he did not refill our drinks and disappeared the whole time. On the other hand, the linens were clean and the toiletries were designer made. However, the parking situation is subpar and expensive $65 per night. Also, for the price one pays to stay per night, plus the daily hotel fee one should receive top tier service. The hotel does not offer complementary products such as toiletries, beverage, bath robe, or sleepers. Giving guests $1 bottles of water is not top tier complementary service. The other guests were shouting and cursing in the middle of the night which was disturbing. The positive the water views and the contemporary aesthetic but does not compare to other high end hotels in the area in which I stayed in the past. Will not be returning, that’s for sure!

Nice hotel and location but it was very noisy. We were on the 8th floor and the club music was intrusive. Banging doors were also noticeable. Room layout was not ideal. Biggest problem was luke warm showers.

IHG-The Wharf always makes me feel like a VIP! I love staying at this hotel, close to so many great restaurants and outdoor activities. The rooms are spacious and cleanly. Easy access to the hotel by car and valet parking is as affordable as self-parking. I highly recommend this hotel.

The wharf is a great place to dine... Tons of options... Also uber to museums and monuments. Everything is close by and walkable or uber... Hotel is very modern and stay was really awesome..

A lovely hotel location and aesthetic. The employees could be friendlier. The doormen did not say hello when entering and leaving property unless we were checking in/out.

Stayed overnight at the hotel, good location on the Wharf, with plenty of dining options nearby. Room service was non-existent. Called twice for in-room dining for dinner and breakfast, no one picked up.

Beautiful property...room was spacious an bedding very comfortable. Surprised that they didn't supply ample towels and that the toiletries were so small for two people to use. Lobby was bright and inviting. Free coffee bar set up was nice and the doormen were outgoing and helpful. The check in was quick but the front deskman was not that welcoming although it was very late. Wish we could have stayed longer but the property was booked so we went to another hotel on the wharf. All in all a very nice property with beautiful views of the boats and water.

Great location.
My booking included breakfast, however, turned out if was only for $80 for the entire stay (3 nights). Breakfast for 4 people came to approx $70 on the first day, so didn't eat there again - lots of places close by to eat for way less.
They took a deposit on my credit card of $450 that hadn't cleared for a week after we left, so I had to call them twice to get them to clear it. Disappointing it isn't actioned sooner, considering it's such an expensive hotel.
Pool on roof has great views.

Great location. Walking on the warf is nice. The free sw shuttle will bring you to the mall. 15 minute walk to the Washington monument. The room was nice, bathroom is huge. Room was clean. Awesome view from the roof top pool deck. Draw backs are the price of the breakfast at the hotel. Never ate there so I can’t say if it’s any good. Overall, I’m glad we stayed here.
