First time staying at the resort casino. We booked the place based on reviews on their spa as we wanted a romantic get away. Place was clean and overall the staff was very friendly. Room was beautiful. Loved the room and casino floor. They seem to really care about the upkeep of the place and everything seemed clean and welcoming. Spa staff was very friendly. We were a little concerned as a gay couple coming to Iowa how we would be treated. The hot tub and steam showers were very nice. The massage was amazing! The massage therapists were FANTASTIC and made us feel very comfortable! The bad on my experience only: The front of the house wasn't able to answer basic questions on the restaurants, or spa (like hours of operation or type of food).There wasn't relaxing music in the relaxing spaces before the massage. So the hot tube and steam shower lacked atmosphere. The relaxation room wasn't relaxing. It was a small room with a TV playing sports without aroma therapy or freshments. All that being said it was still worth it. Could not get a double mixed drink on the casino floor (I'm guessing that is a law), and one of the casino bars is cash only. Overall this was a great stay and we plan to come back when visiting family in the area. I would recommend this place and treat yourself to a massage!

Nice smaller casino, buffet was good

The place is close to new. It was designed nicely and seems to be well maintained and people have respected the place so far. I hope they keep it up so we can all enjoy nice for a long time.

Didn't care for the food but everything else was great.

Stayed for the Jesse McCartney concert ( which was amazing) and had a room to go to afterwards. Comfy beds. My only complaint was about 7am, a light on the hotel phone light up the room like an alarm. I couldn’t get it off. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Took multiple trips to the front desk to get both keys to work. They seemed annoyed that i was bothering them. Like i really wanted to walk from my room to the front desk 3 times!

The hotel was nice, staff was not super attentive but they were polite. Room was fairly clean, but waa showing some signs of wear and tear. Great location with entertainment and dining on site.

I called specifically for a pool and when we checked in, the pool was out of service. They didn’t offer anything to accommodate it either after the fact.

Nice place. Hotel desk should be at the hotel end. Far walk to the elevators.

I only have two issues this stay. 1. The TV reception was horrible, making it impossible to watch. The front desk said it was because of the windy conditions, but if that’s the case they need to better stabilize their dish receptor. 2. We had no maid service of any kind. It would have been nice if they had resupplied the in-room coffee at least. Not to worry, I had some extra coffees in my travel bag. We made do Minor things, and it won’t prevent us from coming back. Beautiful room, very clean, very quiet and comfortable. Dining, Casino, Spa, just a few steps away.

The front staff was not friendly or helpful. The beds were so uncomfortable and the TV didn’t work most of the time. I don’t think I will ever stay again.
