Great Location, beautiful scenery!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING sunsets, and so close to the beach you can enjoy the surf night or day. I reserved this spot for my daughters birthday and it was wonderful. We had a blast at the beach! Waking up for sunrise walks and splashing in the surf. At night after dinner we would walk the beach and marvel at the gorgeous sunsets. The beach is even more incredible at night during the full moon. The property was cozy, beds were very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to cook a delicious meal. The a/c had a slight problem at the beginning, but someone came out quickly and set up portable a/c units and the temps were definitely manageable. Some aspects of the outside property are a little rough, but it didn't affect our stay at all. There is a cool pier out back that you can walk and watch the crabs and fish splash about. I loved my time here and would come back without hesitation. If your goal is a great time at the beach, this property delivers big time. Stunning views and so close to the beach you almost never have to leave the surf and the sand!

Inside is pleasant. Outside needs major cleanup. Beautiful view. Less than 5 minute walk to beach. Easy access. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Have 4 stars because outside so poor.

Dry wall Tape was coming down in the living room, living room TV did not work right, Toilet was loose and moving around, shingles and nails on the back porch, one grill between 2 houses, mold. On ceilings and window seals

The house needs some maintenance work completed. We had the window above the sink fall out when trying to shut the lever down. Only tried to do that because wind was whistling threw. House could use some updating to furnishings. Our bed was comfortable. I would have really loved to utilize the location, but the weather didn't really cooperate when we had our stay planned. You can see the lighthouse from the back deck.

Perfect view of the marsh. Lots of wildlife. Easy walk to the beach. Enjoyed our stay.

The view of the marsh and the access to the beach are special. In fact, the beach has hardly a soul on it in the middle of the week in mid-December. The accommodation has a spacious great-room, decent size bedrooms, and a small bathroom. The furniture and feel of the house is a bit dated/tired, but the location is superb. Never could get the TV in the large bedroom to work and the TV in the great room was tricky to figure out for an old man like me, but that probably wouldn't affect the more technologically savy. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. My wife would prefer something more upscale.

Great location. Some attention needs to be paid to the home due to broken screens, discarded lumber, broken chairs etc just discarded outside of home. Lights over kitchen table non working. Front and back doors difficult to close. Deck has some very soft spots, may cause an injury if not careful. Dehumidifier in front room pulled out of window with gap in window wide open upon our arrival. Freezer has iced up and did not maintain a cold area for our frozen foods. The dog next door left us a pile every day at the front stoop . Views were terrific and location nice.

When we walked up we got ambushed by mosquitos because the bushes up front were not trimmed. Most all lights were lamps on a switch so in the living room you can see there are lights on the ceiling but we called the company managing the property and they said some one would reach out or come by to help and never did. The AC did not work fortunately there was cold front and we could open the windows the majority of the time the weather outside was cooler than inside the house. Then the day before we left we woke up to people walking around the house and one guy even took a picture of it. We finally went out side and found out they were maintenence the didn't think anyone was there.

Heavenly views at sunset and sunset on the water. Very peaceful place, and a nice walk down the driveway to the beach on the opposite side of the bay.

The house is in a great location. Unfortunately, I don't think the owner is in touch with his property. It could be such a great rental property. For as much as we paid, it's these little things that make a rental a good value versus "not worth it". We were only there for 4 nights but the following are a few of the things we noticed: 1. The lockbox is ancient and took us a good 20 minutes to get in 2. Outside trash can was full when we checked in. There was no instruction as to when the trash would be picked up. When we left, I placed trash on top of an already full can. 3. Floor tile is cracked in numerous locations 4. (Small thing but important) No coffee pods. Even Motel 6 provides a few pods for a Keurig 5. The master bedroom TV didn't work. The electric outlet is dead. We purchased an extension cord and got power but still couldn't get it to work. (Really need better instructions) 6. Mattress in Master Bedroom is about shot. Can feel the subframe, springs, etc through the mattress. 7. The bathtub doesn't drain. By the time you finish a shower, you are standing in 6 inches of water 8. Kitchen sink had a hole in it. Doing dishes when the floor was full of soapy water. Again, could be a great property. Not trying to tell anyone how to manage their property but maybe a little attention to detail and invest back into the property

We were able to walk to the beach during the day, and see all of the wildlife at night. It was just far enough off the main road to feel like you are in your own little slice of heaven!
