Although it is a basement cabin, it does not feel like it. We loved the view of the meadows all around and the mountains and trees in the distance. We even walked down to the rive about 5-10 minute walk from the cabin. We saw and heard elk pretty much every day which was a treat.
The only complaint I would give is that they need to add more chairs onto their dining table as it only sits 3 people now. We had to bring in chairs from the outside to eat together as a family. Also, even though it sleeps 6, actually 7 if you pull out another hidden bed in the family room, they don't stock the cabin for 6.
We would absolutely stay here again. We are already thinking about renting it again in the winter months for a ski trip.
