Beautiful bed and breakfast in a stunning mountain valley! The grounds were beautiful with terraces down to the Cuchara River. Our room had its own little balcony overlooking the small river. Breakfast was great and the host was very friendly and helpful. We will be returning with friends to enjoy exploring this area and relax in this wonderful bed and breakfast!

Beautiful property and area! My husband and I visited for a night, wish we could have stayed longer. The room was very clean and comfortable and our guest very warm and welcoming! Plus.... she servrd us some beyond amazing chicken and (the best) waffles I think I have ever had! HIGHLY recommend!

This property is in a beautiful setting with a stream flowing by and lots of outside areas to relax. The town of Cuchara is tiny but so inviting. The owner is a wonderful lady with a sweet dog. She really knows how to make a good breakfast too! We had a marvelous time. Will go back!!

Everything about this place is perfect. The drive there is one stunning view after another. Then driving into the tiny Cuchara village is like going back in time- people strolling, walking dogs, talking to each other (cell reception is iffy, which was very nice!) I stayed in the pet friendly room, which is right on the river. The attached balcony is wonderful, as are the many seating options on the property. I’m running out of characters, so quickly- excellent breakfast, Gaylene is a fabulous host, just the right amount of attentiveness, beautiful flower gardens, the deck at night with the fairy lights, cool mountain air and the rushing river, Dog Bar and the Yacht Club are both excellent!

Amazing, relaxing, and cozy. Riley the house dog will keep you safe from all the big bad bears 😁 (no bears, but Riley is adorbs!) The little town is so cute! What are you waiting for? BOOK A ROOM HERE!!

Very good experience. Property is well organized and located in a beautiful spot. Kitchen has every possible cooking tool - grill on the deck over looking the river is very nice. Great host. Pet policy is well-thought-Out and made for comfortable stay.

High in the mountains, we found a little gem! Cute rustic setup with 5 guest rooms of which we had room #4. Our room had a balcony and an upstairs with additional beds and the bathroom/shower rooms. While we were there, we had time to hang out in the large common area. (TV, couches, kitchen, etc...) The owner Gaylene, was available to address any of our needs and was pleasant to chitchat with. The large common room had huge picture windows to look out of. And what a sight we had! It snowed on day two of our stay and with the mountains and trees as a backdrop...beautiful! I highly recommend this B-n-B! While your there check out the neighboring boardwalk! Eat at the Dog Bar. Be sure to say hi to Riley the resident dog at the B-n-B. We loved this place and will be going back again soon!

This bed and breakfast was so cute. We sat by the creek in the evening with blankets and a heater which made it warm and cozy in the cool Colorado air. It was so fun meeting other people that also stayed and we all had breakfast together which we really enjoyed. The owner made us feel so welcome. Check in, leaving, our stay - she made everything so easy and was a joy to talk with. We loved our time there. Cuchara is one of our favorite places. The fall leaves were turning and it was beautiful. We made our reservations the night before and were so thrilled we did. It was an awesome time!

I can't say enough about Gaileen and her beautiful accommodations. It's like staying at your best friends house with a designated room, just for you. She's charming, so is this property. We fell asleep with the window open, listening to the babbling brook and woke up happier than we've been in weeks. We'll be back! :)

Everything was clean and pleasing. We we during the off season, it was very quiet, but we had to drive a little ways to get food because everything was closed (not a big deal). Plenty of space even if someone else was staying there at the same time. Beautiful views and very much worth it!!

What a great stay this was! A small, rural, off the beaten path location with a wonderful owner and loving dog to greet you! Great rooms that are PERFECT for families with loft bedding areas for the kids. Amazing homemade breakfast in the morning, and a fun little street with a few shops and locals kind of bar/restaurants. Definitely recommend a stay at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast.
