Everything was fine sans the train whistle all night long and the lack of any meat on the breakfast buffet.

Hotel is clean. Quiet. Over all nice but I will not stay here again. Parking is inconvenient and not close enough to hotel, especially in the pouring rain and the water pressure in the shower is terrible. It's definitely not worth the cost.

Dirty. Red stains on bed skirt under mattress and other debris. Didn’t even stay.

The person who checked me in was wonderful. The rooms are spacious and the gym is decent. There are several good restaurants within a few blocks.

Cleanliness, polite staff!

The are where the hotel was located seemed like a more safe quiet area than many other parts of Florence, SC. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Additionally, the free breakfast was nice feature and the food was good. The staff was very nice and the hotel overall was very nice. The only real issue that I had was with the Shower pressure, it was extremely weak even though the pressure in the bathroom sink was strong. Some items that would have made the stay more enjoyable are an indoor pool, a better gym, and if the rooms had a small studio type layout with a small kitchenette or full kitchen. Thank You.

As is often the case with Expedia and Hotels.Com you have to have your hotel booking confirmation which is different from the itinerary number. They are not easily identified on the forms and the confirmation number is not available on their mobile phone apps when you pull up the reservation. The hotels refuse to assist and require you to find their confirmation # or call the booking platform. This is never enjoyable when you are greeted to check-in to your hotel. The hotels and platform booking engines have to know the game afoot. I am not impressed that they can't make the reservation confirmations consistent and easy to navigate between two numbers as I am no longer a frequent traveler. I guess this qualifies as there is no such thing as a free lunch.

There are two drawbacks to this property. First (and most significant) is that parking is a block away so you need to schlep your bags a bit. Second, there is a fairly actively train track nearby. We were at the end of the hotel facing the tracks. I did hear a train once but it was very quiet (unlike the train in My Cousin Vinny :-). The hotel is in a good location (downtown as it says). Couple of bars and restaurants within a block or so.

This hotel stay ruined our trip. I spent extra$ thinking this is a good hotel to stay over with my kids and dog. So wrong! No mention that parking is a walk away to a gated area, extremely curt frontdesk staff, rude kitchen staff! There are rave reviews about the food in this hotel - but in reality, La Quinta has fantastic food compared to this place! At 8am, all the food was out - with no staff nearby, everyone just stood around waiting. On speaking to the front desk, a screaming lady came from the kitchen complaining why the food was out so soon! Only scrambled eggs were refilled, rest were potatoes and bacon. Yogurt not refilled, no waffle station- such a basic breakfast! And the lady kept screaming that folks were leaving plates next to the bins and not inside the plastic bins - what a shame, felt like a school cafeteria! AND the worst was the bedroom sheets - never seen such crumpled sheets in a hotel!!! And the fitted sheets were halfway pulled over, even my 10 year olds make the bed better than that!

Very nice new hotel. Only problem is parking is across the street and a bit of a distance away.

Excellent hotel was very clean!

We were there 3 days and there was no room cleaning service and we asked the evening of the last night to have the room cleaned and there cleaning people were all gone. We were never told about the cleaning arrangements.

Beautiful hotel and furnishings. Room and bath spotless. Heat AC excellent system and quiet. Bed great. Water pressure so weak shower was really difficult. Bkfst poorly managed. Parking is offsite.

The staff is not attentive and certainly don't have good customer service skills. The hotel is decent but overpriced for the amenities you get and the area it is in.

Excellent hotel experience! The morning breakfast was delicious. The ONLY down side is the main parking situation being about a half of a block across the street.

Don’t act like a pet friendly place when you hide the $75 “pet cleaning fee” deep in the listing. I specifically asked the clerk and maid what special cleaning they do after a pet is there and the answer was “nothing different, it’s just to cover if the pet has an accident.” Ummm shouldn’t that be assessed if and only if the pet has an actual accident? I wouldn’t have booked if I knew about the fee before arrival.
