Been coming here for 13 years and it’s always amazing!

We absolutely loved our time at the secret cottage!! Ownership was so sweet and welcoming. It’s the most charming and cozy place to stay in the whole valley. We can’t wait to come back!

Just amazing. I had a pretty significant event in my life that really required me to get away and clear my head. After some searching, I came across the Glen Ellen Inn Secret Cottages, about an hour away from where I live. The photos looked nice, and the reviews were all excellent, to the point that it was hard to believe. But the jetted tub called to me! I am so glad that I did this. The cottages are these amazing little places to just unwind and to find some peace. Right by the river, and tucked back from the street, there is plenty of room to relax in solitude on your front porch, or in the back sitting area of the property. I would classify the vibe as cheerful and positive, yet tranquil. The property is walking distance to Glen Ellen Market, Glen Ellen Star, wine shops, and Les Pascales. There are several good restaurants within a ten minute drive. I stayed in the Courtyard Room. There were so many thoughtful appointments: Jetted tub complete with rubber ducky. A bar with plenty of snacks (replenished daily), water, coffee maker, and fridge. A bathroom, adorned with lots of towels, soaps, lotions and shampoos. The steam shower(!!). The bed, with more comfy pillows than I knew what to do with. The sofa full of pillows and blankets. The thermostatically controlled AC, heat, and fireplace. Everything is very clean and new-looking. I never met the host, Karen, but she was always cheerfully available by text to answer any questions. Highly recommended!

Charming rooms, quaint tiny town.

The cottage was absolutely perfect, every little detail was such a special treat. Beautiful grounds, room was so cozy and loved the large tub and fireplace bedside!! The service and property are exceptional!!! Highly recommend and cannot wait to plan another stay soon!!

It’s too bad the restaurant/bar was closed for remodeling

Lovely creekside setting. Our room included a nice sitting room with several seating choices, some free snacks and a coffee making station. Very nice comodious bathroom and a big cushy bed. Fireplace was see-thru to the other room which was a bit odd at times. Also if one person wants to sleep and the other is watching tv in the livingroom part, there id no door to close off the noise. Otherwise, loved it!

This is the place. For business, or a romantic trip... It was amazing. From the fireplace, hot tub, amazing comfortable bed... To the coffee creamer, free snacks and water in the room and the crazy shower. Seriously, if you don't like it I will pay you back. My wife was so impressed she couldn't keep her hands off me.

Awesome spot right in the middle of town- walk to restaurants and more. Beautiful grounds and creek view.

The owner was so upbeat and nice from the reservation phone call and texts to the day we left. Initially, we were planning to stay only 1 night and ended up staying 3 nights. because the property and bungalows are so magical. There was nothing we didn't love! Do yourself a big favor and stay here while you are in Sonoma area.

Wonderful stay. Lots of attention to the details that make it special like no other. A steam sauna in the bathroom and a large jacuzzi tube. The view overlooking the bridge and creek was amazing.

Cute cottages, very comfortable. Lots of nice little touches like snacks and water and decent coffee choices. Off the beaten track, but still has great restaurant choices nearby. Highly recommended!

The property was just what we wanted in the wine country. Quiet, walking to the restaurants and market as well as a relaxed atomosphere. The rooms were very nice with lots of towels. It was an easy drive to vineyards or dinner. We can't wait to go back.

We loved it here. We had everything we needed and more. The location was great and the grounds were quaint and cozy. Great restaurants close by. And hiking trails.

Enjoyed my stay at Glen Ellen. Room was comfortable and quiet. Their attention to detail made the stay quite memorable. Walking distance to some great restaurants and coffee shops. I plan on returning and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

A lovely place to stay! my only discomfort was the very bright blue light on the TV which I could not shut off so I covered it with towels, sort of...

We had a quick get-away at the Glen Ellen Inn, and were hoping it would be an ideal future get-away spot. They did not disappoint! Clean, cozy cabin by the river in the hear of one of the cutest towns. We had a perfect visit, and will definitely be back.

I love this spot! It is private, quiet and comfortable and the outdoor spaces are lit up magically at night. Great restaurants are a 2 minute walk away.
