Food was excellent and staff were very friendly, they did the best they could with the limited capacity and facilities etc.

Photos very misleading. Whatever we requested wasn’t available and service inconsistent. A lot of people complained about this and definitely no value for money for this hotel, wouldn’t not recommend this.

The attitude and care of the staff from the time we arrived was exceeding expectations. Particularly Yohan and Ashini was of immense help and showed real professionalism. The rooms were great. Good view. The food was excellent and was of good taste. You find what you want.

The only downside was that we could not sit outside on the balcony as there were some monkeys running around. Better to be safe inside the room. It would be possible only after the nightfall but you miss the misty views.

Terrible bathtub for showering: this tub is dangerous since it has no floor grip and you can slip and fall, need a real walk in shower, bathroom is old, service at breakfast buffet was poor, checking was bad since they had many guests and not enough staff, we will not stay here again

HB package is superb & also location is marvelous

Great location away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy, great and helpful staff, very good value for momey, great facilities including professional massages and a deep pool which is rare for hotels. Mithun de Silva was particularly helpful and professional and always checked whether our stay was comfortable!

There was nothing we didn't like, but like any hotel there is always room for improvement :-) Our bathtub was getting clogged but it seemed to have been fixed during our stay, which is great. Some of the staff in the breakfast buffet seemed to be in training so as expected some of the stations were a bit slow (especially the hopper station). The restaurants in general seemed to be understaffed and the existing staff were always very busy, but they did a great job given the circumstances! The food options were really good and changes daily. The airconditioning was central so you can't control the temperature (you can only increase/decrease the a/c's fan), which was perfectly ok for us but not necessarily for other guests. My last comment would be that it was difficult to figure out what the rooms actually looked like when I did the booking, and the rooms looked different when we actually got there. For example some of the pictures of the junior suites on booking.com seemed to show a door separating the room and lounge area, and some of the deluxe rooms seemed to have a separate lounge area according to the pictures but this wasn't the case for us. Maybe we got slightly different rooms because we wanted all rooms next to each other (which they were kindly able to give us!) but it would be good to see some pictures of the real rooms on booking.com rather than just the largest rooms so that there are no surprises when checking in :-)
