Has a cold corridor to access Onsen area

24/7 open onsen was amazing as well as the outdoor one. Lounge was nicely equiped and it was a pleasant place to spend relaxing time. Overall having bed connected directly to free-to-use onsen is great!
Indoor onsen had some spiderwebs, which made the place look sort of untidy.

Huge room with private bathroom and helpful staff (Mr.Shota). Onsen on the first floor.

Location was close to the lifts and not too far from the bus terminal. Lounge area was great for chilling with friends and killing time. The rotenburo was great too.
The rooms were super hot, even when the heater inside was turned off. Had to open the window in mid-February just to have a decent temperature. Bath temperature (not the rotenburo) was far too hot for me.

Loved the onsen, friendly staff! Great location!
No shuttle from the bus station. Although its not far to walk it was snowing when I arrived so difficult with luggage and trying to find the hotel in the snow.

the location is good to be close to the ski areas and it’s nice to have onsen in the hotel.
the room is quite small for 4 people and the hotel is quite old.

A bit inconvenient to walk with luggage from the bus terminal on slipperly road covered with snow.

totally fine, for a Ski Resort Ryokan but supposed by the price.

The hot spring baths were great and our room was very big. We also had an ensuite bathroom and toilet.
Breakfast wasn't included in our package but they provided coffee and bread, which was super convenient. The hotel also had lots of board games for guests to enjoy.

Very good complimentary bread and coffee, good private onsen with open air sulfur onsen too, confortable room with in-room shower and toilet (Japanese style room). 5 min walk from gondola 4, restaurants and ski rental stores. You can also borrow snow boots at the front desk for free.
Hotel is a bit old.

Rustic feel of the establishment, helpful staff, indoor and outdoor onsens and one available to rent for private use, free shuttle service to Zao Onsen Bus Terminal, quiet rooms with classic Japanese furnishing, futons and tatami mats.
Facilities were a bit old (but charming), room toilet did not have a bidet, indoor and outdoor onsens are a bit old.
