the location was excellent, right across the road from the beach. value for money - super cheap price for a room.
the bathroom wasn’t great. the shower blew up when I switched it on, although it got replaced the next day with one that worked. the room was basic but representative of the cost as it was so cheap.

Our best stay on Sri Lanka! Nice, comfortable room with spacious private bathroom and the terrace with ocean's view...Perfect location not only for those who want to spend time on the beautiful beach, have a nap in hammock and enjoy local beach bar selection. We rented bikes nearby and went for a trip, tuk tuks are everyehere if you need a transport or just a nice experience :) Closest shop is like 5 min from hotel and restaurants around serves really nice breakfast or offer a yoga classes. The standard of the room was much higher than we expected, for real.
The host was so kind - he let us leave our stuff and enjoy the beach for few hours before our bus trip to Colombo with no fee or so. Please visit this place, you won't regret that! :)

We had a fan only room with mosquito net. It was a quiet fan which (unlike some) you could feel through the net so we were very happy. Our room and bathroom was a great size. The large bed was comfortable. The location with large terrace was perfect. We were worried about noise from nearby restaurants but it was quiet. Great value for money.

Very spacious room with a huge balcony that has a very nice beach view. You wake up with the sound of the waves.
Bathroom is also very spacious.
The location is great as it has a nice beach right in front and plenty of options for food and drinks.
The beach bar below the hotel is cool and inviting.
Staff was friendly.
One of the best values for money in Sri Lanka so far!

A very clean room with a comfortable bed and excellent a/c. Plus a kettle & fridge in the room which are lacking from most rooms of this price range in Sri Lanka.
Sitting on the balcony watching the sea view & listening to the waves crash into the beach just across the road whilst drinking a cold Arrack (thanks fridge) was perfect!
Hot shower would have been nice.

I travelled together with two friends to Tangalle.
Our trip was planned with 3 weeks. After one week we searched for a Hostel/Hotel in Tangalle.
The guy from Hotel was very friendly and helpfull we have seen our room and were happy. Nice place here directly on the Beach. Thank you very much for this stay!

The location was directly across from the beach with balconies overlooking the sea. Restaurant beside for fresh seafood meal and breakfast. Owner helpful in suggesting places and booking taxi.

The location is amazing, just opposite to the Sandy beach. Loads of good cafes nearby. The host was very helpful.
Very slow and poor wifi
The room is full of ants, if you are unlucky you can also meet a cockroach :(
