The Studio on Stromberg is a perfect base for a weekend trip to Arcata. The location is perfect in that you are close enough to downtown to walk or drive, but you are separated from the true downtown area by ~1 mile. We enjoyed being across the street from a grocery store and right next to a gas station. The pictures are an accurate representation of the unit. You feel lots of privacy and comfort in the unit. The kitchen is a bit small if you are thinking of a longer stay, but for our 3-day stay, it was perfect! The host is attentive and on-site which is helpful if you need any assistance. The location, amenities, and price make the Studio a great place to stay while visiting Arcata!

Practical,clean,good price

There was no air conditioning so the place got a little stuffy and hot. However the place was clean and nice and well kept. The host asked us to wash our dishes prior to leaving but provided no sponge or means of doing so. They also asked us to take the trash out but there was no outside bin in sight to take it so we didnt know where to take it and no instructions were provided.

Space is small but extremely comfortable and has pretty much everything you need. The bed, pillows, sheets and comforter were superb ( a comfortable bed is most important to us). Murphy’s Market is right up the street where we were able to get the groceries we needed. Neighborhood is just okay; but we felt very safe in this space. Price is great with a very attentive Erik, the property manager. All in all, a great experience and would highly recommend.

I come visit family in Arcata often, and have been extremely underwhelmed by the hotel accommodations in Arcata. As a flight attendant, I have a lot of experience in hotel stays, and what a relief to find this place. Quiet, extremely clean, perfectly located, couldn’t have ask for a better stay.
