The room was spotlessly clean, hosts really friendly and set on a beautiful and peaceful farm setting.

I was really happy with my stay, if I had to comment at all I would say this is probably more of a location for car-drivers, as you might have a bit of a walk into the main centre if you're planning to get around on foot. This wasn't a problem for me as I drive but just a consideration for those who don't.

It was a stylish and comfortable room, catered for our needs and the host was very kind and helpful with regards recommendations in the local area

The room was exceptionally clean. The booking was for a room only (breakfast not included), which was clear to us when we booked. There was a kettle, tea, coffee, fresh milk (there was a fridge in a cupboard in the room), bottled water and biscuits supplied. There is a Macdonalds, a pub that serves breakfast and a petrol station with some groceries 10 minutes walk from the property.

Nothing. The property was perfect for our requirements. We would definitely stay there again if returning to that area.

Independent of main house so free to come and go as we wanted without affecting anyone else. Provision of small fridge and fresh milk was great. Lovely quiet peaceful setting.

Breakfast wasn’t available, but there is a lovely pub 2 minutes down the road to make up for it.

Very friendly host Linda. Tea/Coffee milk(in a mini fridge) clean room and great location for travelling about. Room comfortable, quiet location, off the beaten track but very close to A1. To walk into Alnwick was 40 minutes. There are services very near by and a pub within a 10 minute walk

The only thing missing was the breakfast

Spacious modern room with everything you need. Even a small fridge which is very useful. Beautiful location in the wonderful Northumberland countryside. Linda and Dave were super hosts, welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us to make sure our stay was perfect. Want to return when they have the room.

Linda met us with the key upon arrival and was very helpful with directions and advice about places to visit and restaurants to try. She was very understanding regarding laundry after an accidentally spilt drink on the bed! Fresh milk in the fridge daily was really great, since we both like milky hot drinks, and we never ran short! There was plenty of space for storage in the room and facilities were very good and cleanliness was excellent. It was easy to find and convenient location for getting elsewhere in Northumberland easily (v close to the A1 but not so close as to have any traffic noise).

The location was just a little further outside of Alnwick than I anticipated (a good 25 min walk). With no breakfast provided at the farm (due to Covid - we knew before booking), we had to find some locally each morning. We tried the Hogs Head Inn (v local) on the first morning, but their service was terrible, so we opted instead for the local Morrison's Daily, which did nice sausage sandwiches and croissants, for a very good price. The other options would have been the McDonald's next door or going into Alnwick itself. The lack of any wifi was also something I was surprised by, but not something that I'd checked beforehand!
