The room was clean, had a towels exchange during the stay, the location is quite close to the airport and the breakfast was good. Mr. Henrique (host) was quite welcoming.

The bathroom light works with a sensor that is too far from the shower which result in a dance during the shower to turn it back on. The hand shower holder didn't worked.

Apartment was very nice and clean. Host was kind and friendly. Fun was the view on the near airport.

Little challenge was to deal with humidity. But in the end, it was fine.

We loved our host. He was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We liked that it is quite close to the downtown, to restaurants and to a small supermarket that has everything one would want for a short stay.

Would love to have more pillows for the bed!

Located next to the airport, easy access to the center of Ponta Delgada and other parts of the island. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

The smell of the towels was unbearable, although they were clean, they smelled really bad as soon as they got in contact with water - I recommend bringing your own. The kitchen is not very well equipped, there is space only for one pan on the stove and most of the pots were not working.

Too close to the airport (can hear planes take off loud) Photos are misleading. Almost everything was old and rusty. There was no ''private garden'' just a balcony with a rusty hanger. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable but got used to it by the end... Saw a big cockroach in the bathroom. Kitchen was not equipped with essentials (no cutting knife, no cooking oil etc.) Really disappointing overall. It's one of the cheaper options on the island but still not worth it in my opinion.

Clean and cosy room, great location. Everything was perfect.

Smooth self check-in and check-out with walkable distance to the airport. The apartment was bigger than expected The owner was very friendly when we accidentally met him and he let us park the scooter on the property.

Some basic equipment in the kitchen was missing (we would miss a sharp knife fur cutting stuff if we didn't bring our own). Close airport has obvious downsides of loud planes, but that's has to be expected and there are no scheduled night flights.

Apartment in a beautiful garden, a bit out of the way from the center of Ponta Delgada, but on the other side close to the airport. Comfortable and clean room, lots of privacy, beautiful terrace overlooking the runway of the nearby airport (a paradise for planespotters). Very "greeny" place what I really like.

The breakfast was tasty, though monotonous - the same every day. It's a bit from the center on foot.

The location was exactly what I wanted, halfway between the airport and the town centre. I also had a runway view. Henrique was friendly and jovial. There was a sense of privacy in the house. The place was well presented.

The floor of the shower cubicle didn't have much texture to it and after a slight slip one of the first times that I used it never confident of staying on my feet. More sockets for charging devices, particularly near the bed would be great. I was in room 6 had had to get used to being visible from the bus stop across the road and the clinic nextdoor. Best to keep the curtains closed in the morning.

the garden was beautiful, there were 3 cute rabbits there also, and a cute cat. I had a chance to meet the owner. he was very respectful and responsible.

I thoroughly enjoyed my week-long stay at the Azores Garden House and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and to recommend it to friends and fellow travellers. Henrique and his team looked after me very well indeed; he is a most kind and amiable host and the garden house is run very efficiently, with due attention paid to COVID-19 requirements. I had everything I needed in my spacious room and slept well in the comfortable bed. As the weather can be very humid, I appreciated having a portable fan in the room. It was also great having the use of a well-appointed kitchen, where breakfast (included in the room rate) is served. The garden, with its cats and rabbits, is delightful. If you don't fancy the 20 minute downhill walk to the city centre, there are 'bus stops nearby. In terms of value for money, I doubt that you'll find better in Ponta Delgada, in terms of what you get for what you pay.
