Host's provided hamper which was very thoughtful and helpful. Supermarkets close by and places to eat. We had breakfast in Barter Bookstore one morning which was very nice.

The apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from the town centre. It had everything we needed and the welcome basket was much appreciated. The host was very friendly and provided useful information.

A lovely home from home stay in a beautiful part of the world. Really comfortable, spacious and every detail thought of including lovely bed linen and incredibly soft towels. It had everything we needed, plus a lovely welcome basket. Situated right by the castle walls, it couldn’t be in a better position for bars restaurants and shops as well as the castle and museum. Julie was a lovely host and a great communicator in advance of our stay. we didn’t need to contact her once we were there, but knew she’d be on hand needed

It’s a fantastic place to stay. Has everything you need, is immaculately clean and in a superb location. There was even a little basket of goodies when we arrived. Was a lovely place to relax for a few days & get to know Alnwick.

The only issue I didn’t like was a lack of recycling facilities, so we ended up bringing our recycling home. The shower room is a bit tiny but I was impressed they managed to get one in, was rather well designed.

Brilliant stay! Perfect location, right in the centre of everything you need, very quiet and cosy which is lovely.

Superb location just round from Alnwick high street and a stone's throw from the famous castle. Lots of pubs, restaurants and shops nearby and handy parking free with permit provided. The accommodation was lovely - every detail had been considered. Lots of tips to help us get the most of our stay there, and very comfortable. Also provided with some wine, jam, bread and other nice things to welcome us. Highly recommended.

I liked everything but just one small thing - a couple of extra blankets for overnight as it was a bit chilly at times. However, central heating kept the place cosy and warm the rest of the time.

Location excellent. Property has been finished to a high spec with everything that you would need for a self - catering break. Welcome basket was lovely and jam was delicious. Good places to eat and drink.

There was nothing to dislike. Facilities were excellent.
