Very nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Great location on a channel with clean beach and close to grocery store and ocean front beach. Spacious home with all the basics included.

We absolutely loved staying here! Being able to walk out the back door to the sand and water without carrying stuff all over was a game changer with four littles that just want to build sandcastles. The bedrooms were spacious and comfy. The living room was plenty of space for everyone to sit together. Great trip!

Our family had a fantastic week enjoying the convenience of the backyard beach and marina to just hop in the boat and go. This condo is so spacious and wonderful layout. We didn’t cook any meals but the kitchen has everything you could need. Great restaurants nearby. Hope to return again next summer. David & Debbie McManus

I was delighted to find this property to rent and it is even more beautiful in person. The amazing beach right out the back door was the highlight of our vacation! We saw dolphins passing through every day. The home is beautifully maintained and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. My son is a recent 35 year old quadriplegic who was really wanting a beach trip…but do you know how difficult it is to find an accessible place at any beach? Once you plug in that filter, your options go down to just a handful …and some of those aren’t even truly accessible, as I found out with a few emails. This condo at Banana Bay was almost perfect…downstairs bedroom and half bath, easy to maneuver entrance and exit, not much clutter, and being right on the bay gave lots of changing views of boats of all sizes. A pool lift and a downstairs roll in shower would have made it perfect…but we made do. The neighborhood is very quiet and we had the bay front beach to ourselves a lot of the time. Three bedrooms and two baths upstairs were roomy and comfortable for the rest of the family. Very clean and well equipped kitchen, too! The owners were quick to respond to all my questions.

This place was perfect! We had a family vacation here including two couples, Grandma, and four kids (ages 4, 2, 13 mo, and 11 mo). The back door is about ten steps from a white sandy beach. There was barely anyone else on the beach the entire week we were there. It was like our own private beach. The heated community pool was about 200 feet from the front door. The neighborhood is beautiful with palm trees and bright colored houses. The house was beautiful and spacious. We used the grill, beach toys and chairs during our stay. We barely left the community because everything we wanted was right there. We had such a great time here that we already are planning on coming back. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice relaxing vacation with lots of beach and pool time. Thanks Rob and June!

Parking was a big issue. We had seven adults getting together with 4 cars there was not enough parking. Other people parking by the pool taking 1 1/2 parking places made it difficult.

My family arrived around 1:00 pm day of check in, we made contact with owner, who was immediately responsive, and gave us permission to access the property when cleaning was done. The cleaning crew finished about 3:50 so 50 minutes after check-in. We waited at the pool so we were able to make the best of the time and remained positive even when delayed. When entering the Condo we found it to be clean and physically sound at our initial glance. The beach out the back door is wonderful. The patio is nice. The grill needed cleaned and not convenient for grilling. After a few hours in the condo we recognized mold in upstairs bathrooms, the master bedroom exterior wall and floor are warped and molding from extensive water leaks. There were not sheets clean for downstairs hide a bed. We purchased a mattress cover and sheets ourselves. The beach was quiet and a beautiful place to spend the day. Unfortunately we did not bring beach chairs because property listing stated 7 provided. We found 6 in the garage 4 of which are broken. We bought those too. My family and I experienced two big rain storms during our stay both in the middle of the night and was awakened to our daughters being rained on in their bed by rain blowing in the balcony door and soaking their suitcase. The gutter over the patio drips constantly so you need to choose where you sit wisely. The neighborhood amenities are top notch. People are friendly and the neighborhood well maintained. Unfortunately our positive experience with Rob ended after the first contact. I sent a message on our second day asking about fishing from the docks for my husband and nephew. We offered to pay for a slip if need even though we had no boat. No response at all. On the morning of our departure we left in our typical fashion trash out, linens stripped, dishwasher loaded. This was all the clean up we were instructed to do and we’re not equipped with cleaning supplies or the equipment to do anything additiona. In fact we paid a 250 dollar cleaning fee to have it done. I am embarrassed to say a bag of trash was forgotten by the front door during our departure. Apparently in the process of cleaning out all the food from the refrigerator and trash we must have dripped something on the tile kitchen floor. An hour into our trip home I hear from Rob. He scolded me like a child about the trash and drips on the floor his cleaning crew was there complaining about mopping . Never have I experienced this. Never

Very nice place. House is in a great location - walk out to a nice beach area - the kids loved that they could play ball, fish, and build sand castles without having to pack everything to go to the beach. Rob, the owner, was extremely nice, personable, and helpful. He was always a text/phone call away to answer questions from booking to departure. Thanks for a fabulous time.

Beautiful property. Well appointed. The owner was overly communicative and wanting to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Saw dolphins swimming everyday. Highly recommend

It rained a good bit while we were there, so it was nice to have the private beach where the kids good still go out and play in the beach and bay.

The private, gated community was beautiful and gave a tropical feel to the vacation. The home was nice and the beach view was beautiful to see every day. The pool area was nice and never overcrowded. We had wonderful memories with my son proposing to his girlfriend on the beach. We did have a few issues with the property. The wifi router went out before our stay and could not be repaired during our stay which was out of the home owners hands but was an issue the entire vacation due to my husband's work and the kids wanting to watch movies. There were issues with the tv operations in 3 out of 4 rooms. There were no sheets provided for the pull out sofa so we had to purchase those ourselves. Lastly there was a light/fan out in the extra room. Overall, we loved the atmosphere and any day at the beach is better than a day at work/school but those issues did put damper on the overall vacation.

The weather was less than ideal however the home was perfect. It is conveniently located to everything. Everything needed was provided and communication couldn’t have been any better.

We just love this place. It is so nice to have your own beach. We park out boat right out front. We are already talking about returning again next year.

The owners description of their home is exactly as you will find it when you arrive. Fisherman's Corner and Sunset Grill are must visits and both within 5 minutes of the townhome. I would suggest going to Orange Beach, 20 min away, for public beach access. More accessibility than the Perdido Beach. Would happily recommend staying here any time!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spoke and texted Ethel the owner on numerous occasions. Always responsive and even let us know we could check in early when the property had been cleaned a day early. I highly recommend!

With back door access to a sandy Beach on the waterway, a five minute drive to the ocean and very responsive hosts, it was the perfect location for our family summer trip. We enjoyed fishing, swimming and hanging out together in the comfortable townhouse. Thank you, Rob and June

The property was exactly as described in the listing. Clean and spacious. The chairs available for guest use was definitely a plus. We stayed at the beach with the property a couple of days and went to the public beach just a few minutes down the road a couple of days. It worked really well for us. Location is close to several restaurants that we enjoyed very much. Would definitely recommend this property!
